The pork was flavorful & cooked to perfection without tasting dry. The servings are big as we saw other tables with large portions. They offer noodles, pho and other dishes. It's a no brainer to order the large portion for 50 cents more. Plus you'll have tasty leftovers! Service: 5/5 - the servers were efficient and on top of it as things moved along during the peak lunch hour. There was not an empty table at busy times. Those who were waiting in line were given a menu & then they'd take your order based on how long they think you would be waiting. Ambiance: 4/5 - the place was clean. There were tables seating 2 and a couple of tables for 8. I can't wait to return to try their pho. It was worth the drive from Burnaby to try their food.

However, staff forgot about the iced coffee and had to be reminded. Spring rolls were good. It was made with the wheat wrapper when I prefer the rice wrapper. The filling was nicely seasoned. The pho broth was light with a strong star anise flavour. There was a decent amount of noodles and toppings. My vermicelli bowl was tasty with the grilled pork sausage and spring rolls. Ordering was super easy and the food came out fast. I ordered two #8 banh mi which is the classic banh mi that comes with 2 viet ham and pate. This is more of the traditional banh mi you see. I liked that Obanhmi also has a variety of other flavors including chicken lemongrass, beef sate, etc. Within the shop, there is a little bit of seating if you choose to sit inside and eat. The overall ambiance is cute for this small shop. I really like the newspaper wallpaper that incorporates the history of the banh mi. The banh mi itself was delicious. The toppings on top (cilantro, pickled vegetables, etc.) helped to add a nice crunch and helped to balance the whole entire sandwich. It was a good ratio of vegetables to meat to bread. They don't give you a plate so when you sit down it's in a paper bag cover and all your French breadcrumbs will fall on the table. It's very small inside but has a few tables to sit in and eat.
