We stopped by for lunch after a quick Yelp search. Service was amazingly fast for a busy restaurant. We were seated after a short wait. Menus and water were dropped off shortly after being seated. We ordered a number of items - spring rolls, house special beef noodle soup, pork sausage and spring roll vermicelli bowl and iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. Food arrived fairly quickly. However, staff forgot about the iced coffee and had to be reminded. Spring rolls were good. It was made with the wheat wrapper when I prefer the rice wrapper. The filling was nicely seasoned. The pho broth was light with a strong star anise flavour. There was a decent amount of noodles and toppings. My vermicelli bowl was tasty with the grilled pork sausage and spring rolls. I have seen the transformation of this restaurant site from a German restaurant to a Chinese Restaurant that also serves dim sum, and now the latest incarnation is Vietnamese Pho! It's a funny thing to be eating different types of cuisine in the same location with different decor and people. You can still see the traces that's left by the original German influence. Fireplace, wooden seats that is clearly Germanic in design etc. On your way back to Vancouver, we stopped by to check this relatively new Pho place out, after chatting with the server, I found out that they have their original Pho restaurant in White Rock and has been in operation for 6 years! This new one just opened a month ago. I have to say, when I came in, I truly did not have any expectation, as I did not know the background of the owners etc. Ordered: House Special and my #31, both came out in HUGE bowls, my #31 consist of Rare Steak, Tripe & Tendon and its only $10.95!! The House Special has every cut of beef, tripe, tendon, Beef Meatballs! That one goes for $12.40! I know not everyone will drive all the way here for a bowl of Pho, but if you are passing by or in the neighbourhood, come in to this curious building to experience the latest ethnic cuisine that it houses!! I used to order from here a lot. They have a great customer service. The food is good but I felt like it changed a bit when I ordered it the last few times. I used to order #32 and the meat portion was way less than it used to be. Other than that, it's a good one to try, you won't be disappointed. The environment is friendly. read more

Was SO good. Thought we would try something new tonight. This place just opened a couple weeks ago. Smelled so good walking in. They have redone the inside and got new tables. Took down the heavy curtains off the windows. Looks really great inside. My husband had the Pho won ton soup and I had the fried tofu with spicy sauce and a banh mi submarine sandwich with grilled pork. Everything was so delicious. My husbands won tons were very flavourful and had a hint of garlic in them. The banh mi was crunchy and full of flavour. Can't wait to go back and try more items! read more

Picked up take out as staying nearby in hotel. I had the 3 meat with vermicelli and veggies...it was pretty good, though beef short ribs were thin and overcooked-dry. Chicken was good. Sausage was like Ukrainian sausage. Next time would just have chicken vermicelli as that meat was perfect. Hubby had stir fried rice...pretty good...but little bland. Person on phone was very nice to order from! Would definitely order again if in area...but with better choices of meals. read more

I've been waiting for this location to open and was excited to stop by for dinner tonight. The building hasn't changed all that much since its Sonoma Grill days back in the early 2000's; after the Oriental Pearl Cantonese Restaurant left they painted the exterior white, covering the terra cotta pink colour from before. But I digress. When I arrived at 5:30 on a Tuesday evening there were two other tables seated, one with a single patron, and a separate table of two people. Both tables finished within 10 minutes of me being seated, I was then alone unto 6:30 when a party of two arrived. In my time there I was approached by my server once to take my order and once to deliver it. I eventually went to the counter to pay. The menu is quite extensive with everything you'd expect to see and then some: bánh mì, rolls, beef/chicken/vegetarian noodle soups, sir fry, vermicelli bowls, etc. Tonight I kept it simple and had a Deep Fried Wontons and #35 - House Special Beef Noodle Soup. Soups come in one size only and that size is BIG. The Wontons were decent, tasty, cooked, crispy, served with Cock Sauce. I would order them again. The House Special Beef Noodle Soup was ok, but not spectacular. The broth was fabulously hot, so hot in fact that when my soup arrived my rare beef had gone from wonderfully tender to shoe leather - all pieces had cooked right through. There wasn't much tripe and what was there had been chopped into small chunks (personal preference, I appreciate it when there are bigger pieces). There was plenty of tendon though, three big slices... that was a nice surprise. And the super hot soup made them the very tender. There were three slices of beef ball (it looked like 1.5 balls cut in half) and they were quite tasty. The big disappointment, and real deciding factor for me when it comes to pho, was the broth. In my opinion, what sets pho apart from other establishments is the broth, take the broth away and the ingredients are all pretty much the same as any other pho restaurant. This broth had flavour, but not much. It was rather bland and unimpressive. When looking at the flavour of the dish and how many adjunct table ingredients I had to add to bolster the taste, I could save myself $5 and eat elsewhere. I will give them one more try another day but based on my meal tonight I want to give 2.5 stars, so three it is. read more

The spring rolls are awesome. And the peanut sauce... may I have another please! Those two things alone will get me back every time.

Great Experience. The owners take care of the customers. They are very smiley and friendly and nice. I would welcome this anywhere. I ordered the hot and sour seafood soup. I love the flavor. The portion size is very generous. There was a lot of seafood in my soup. I would come back in order of this again anytime. My GF ordered the rare beef and brisket noodle soup. Again. Very generous with the beef and portions. I tried and loved the flavours as well. The atmosphere here is wide open, clean feeling and relaxing. We will be back for sure. read more

We tried out their new location in Langley and were definitely were super impressed with the taste and quality of their food. So many other places we have tried end up with their dishes all tasting pretty much the same. Not so with Pho 777. Everything unique, super tasty with no greasy oily mess on you plate when you're done. Well done guys! This is our new favourite place!! read more

Definitely in our top 3 Pho places in Langley. The inside has a ton of seating and the menu is very big. We ordered the meatball pho and the prawn and pork vermicelli bowl and thoroughly enjoyed both. Both dishes were quite large and full of flavour! read more

great food- service and cost was reasonable. we had some appetizers then huge bowls of soup that none of of us could finish - the waitress packed up our 3 bowls and when I got home saw she wrote on the lids, Dad, Daughter, Mom so we knew whos was whos left overs for lunch today! exceptional! thanks read more
