    Pho bo kho

The staff are nice, and the chef is very personable. He came out to personally ask how the food was. We ordered the pho bo kho and special pho. The bo kho isnt your typical bo kho since they topped it with scallion oil, which was a little overpowering at first. But after mixing in the condiments and taking a few bites, I got used to it and didn't mind it. The pho, though, was on the sweeter side for us. We specifically asked for no cilantro in the pho, but it still ended up coming with cilantro. My husband didn't want to return the order, so he had to pick them out himself, which might've ruined the broth a little for him. Overall, we'd come back to try other dishes since their menu is pretty extensive and our experience was decent.

Food was delish! My husband lived in the area when he was younger and this place was once a Chinese restaurant. They updated it and it's now modern, with 3 large screen tvs. We ordered lots of food and it was super yummy! Staff was friendly the chef took a moment to speak to us a bit. That was nice especially right before they got their lunch rush. Definitely would come here again when in the area!

So glad this place opened in Auburn. They're in the plaza where the Auburn Frugals is at. We got a bunch of dishes including the salt and pepper wings, tamarind wings, brisket pho, bun bo hue. Everything was delicious. The bun bo hue was so flavorful and had plenty of meat and veggies in there. The pho was delicious and a good portion. The wings were my kids favorite. So flavorful and great texture. The place is clean and service is stellar. The owner was there and thanked us for coming in. He seems like a very humble and kind guy. Support local and go try this place out.

We had an excellent dinner and experience at Pho Tango yesterday. We order com tam dac biet aka broken rice special with I a sunny side up porr and an egg roll also chicken glass noodles which is very tasty and prettt similar to tradition vietnamese food in Vietnam. Staff was friendly and we even had a chance to talk to the owner Steve. Very good chef. Plenty of parkings and the restaurant looks new and modern but also cozy. I also found out they put cucumber and lime in their water which made it very refreshing and smell good. I'm sure our city of Auburn love to have a good Vietnamese restaurant. Cant wait to come back.

We've been here once and the pho is amazing. I didn't even have to add all sauce I usually do at other places because the broth is already flavorful. The portion was huge and I had lots of meat in my pho. We also ordered pork spring roll and it was delicious. My little one had their rice and grill chicken dish with the salad chefs kiss! The service was quick and efficient.

Service was fast. I got the combination and the broth was so savory and piping hot. I'm definitely coming back.

Not your average Vietnamese fare. An Asian meets American twist without compromising the flavor…read more This spot used to be on the weekly rotation when I worked in the area. My favorites are the Thai chili shrimp & pork bao and their spicy torched shrimp & pork rice. Their portions are generous and they do not skimp on the meat. The only criticism I have is that the bao bun does start to fall apart getting soaked with the juices from the meat and sauces. Food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. A very casual spot to grab a meal with ample amount of seating if you choose to dine in. There is some parking directly in front of the store but there is more towards the back. Definitely recommend this spot!

I think they usually mostly cater to lunch customers because they closed at 6 PM. I asked the employee what the most popular sandwiches were and she told me it was definitely the crispy chicken bacon banh mi. We ordered that and a spicy pork shrimp banh mi. Both were excellent! I really liked the bacon one more and my partner really preferred the pork shrimp one more so it worked out. Both were a 10/10!!! Crispy fresh fluffy bread. Not stale at all. And about $35 for both sandwiches and a can of Coke. Beware that crispy chicken will cut up the roof of your mouth though. It was worth every bite!! And they were so big that I could only eat half. Saved the other half for the next day and it was just as delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town and it's not too late.
