Their staff were very friendly and checked in frequently to take my order, make sure I liked my food and refill my water. The pho broth was light, but enjoyable on a rainy day. I prefer a more flavorful broth, and have had better beef pho broth at some other local pho restaurants. I like how the toppings include both cilantro and thai basil. We ordered the jasmine tea which was also nice, but I have had more flavorful jasmine tea elsewhere in town. The steamed dumplings were steamed to perfection and had a really wonderful pork filling. I'm not sure how the service there works, but we were never visited by a server at all after we were seated and given our drinks. One person came by right before we got up to pay to offer water refills. We will likely be back again. read more

Been getting pho here for a few years now and have to say they have a very delicious broth. I'm always happy and warmed from their soup and appetizers. When you get it to-go, then it will be a large. I think their take-out containers default to that size. I usually get the A1, P1, and P9. The spring rolls (A1) are fresh and the perfect appetizer to the noodles. Always dip it in the sauce because it's the bomb - super savory. It is made with peanuts so if you have allergies opt for the fish sauce instead. A1 (meat, tripe, tendon) and A9 (seafood) share the same meat-based broth. With it to-go you make your own dish and and control the amount you put in. I usually microwave the broth to get it steaming hot when I get home. Add all my ingredients and pour the broth in. This place is a solid spot to get some pho and spring rolls! read more

I really like this place, they have great Pho and they will accommodate simple special requests. A couple of years ago I had an infection in my intestines and could only eat broth-based soups for a couple of weeks. I ate a LOT of pho, and they were super nice about only giving me the broth and leaving out everything else (another place was very clear they thought this was weird, so I appreciated the kindness). The spring rolls were great- I do prefer mine with a little mint rather than all lettuce but they were fresh & the peanut sauce was on point. The pho was also good, but not the best I've had. The beef broth was not very beefy. Of course the bowls are as big as your head so I always have to take half of it home. As I suspected, you know how protein in broth congeals when it cools? I think it's science, anyway...not much of that happened. I like my pho simmering in more beef bones. When I first saw it, it didn't have the dark rich look of great pho. If you love Pho, this is the place for you. I always get the brisket pho. It comes with the fresh veggies you expect like Thai basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeno slices and a lime wedge. The broth is clear, flavorful and hot with ample noodles. There are two sizes, regular and large. On the table are fish sauce, soy sauce, hoisin sauce and sriracha. Went there for a late lunch in late July. I had the dish I would other when I go to Vietnamese pho restaurants. Bun Bo Hue. It is a dish where the broth takes some effort to prepare, it shows the Skills and dedication of the chef. I was a little disappointed because the flavor is different and the flavor is a little light. The piece of pork feet was so tough I thought I was chewing a piece rubber. The staff when they are nothing brining your drinks to you, we're glued to their cellphone screens. The Bun Bo hue took longer than I had expected to arrive at the table. Would I got here again? Pho Thanh II is that place for us in NWA. The service is speedy, the staff is kind and knowledgeable, the boba tea (especially the honeydew) is awesome, and the Pho is phenomenal. The small size is huge, the large is gargantuan. The broth is just right, not too salty but not bland. I like mine sweet with lots of hoisin and the hubbs likes his spicy. Pho Thanh II give the perfect base broth to make it how you like it. The only downfall about this place is the plastic chopsticks. The noodles are slippery, man! But seriously. Check it out.
