It was packed up nicely so we could add the noodles and toppings to the broth at home, so they do not get over cooked. The flavor of the meat and broth was really good. I love how when you walk into a restaurant, the first thing that greets you is the wonderful smell of herbs and spices that fills up the entire room! That's when you get that sense of authenticity in your head, uttering the words, "Oh yeah!" They have a nice late lunch special from 11am-5pm. I opted out and ordered the seafood pho soup instead. Wow! This was an excellent seafood pho! The shrimp, fish ball, crab meat and fish filet had a wonderful flavor mixed in together. Of course, it comes with the veggies on the side. It was so delicious I almost finished the entire bowl! You have an option for a medium or large size bowl. The grilled beef was also ordered and had a nice char to it. It was tender and had so much flavor from the marination. The spring roll was good as well. The owner was super friendly. He chatted with us at the table for a few minutes. This Vietnamese restaurant is a wonderful addition in this part of town because there aren't too many choices for Asian cuisine in the area. We were visiting someone at Barnabas Hospital and decided to stop by here for lunch. For a party of 9 + 3 take out orders, the bill only came out to $130. The supreme large pho was delicious and had your traditional meatballs, tripe, beef rounds, and tendons. It's smaller than the bowls you get from NY but definitely fills you up. Our next favorite was the grilled pork. It has so much flavor to it. They have amazing lunch special that last til 5pm for $7.95. A nice small place to get some good eats!! this is a secret place! omg!! we had yummy fried dumpling. The dipping sauce was so good! Now onto dinner. My husband had Beef Pho and he really enjoyed it. Located in a strip mall, compact little restaurant with very good, friendly service. I had pork over vermicelli - the pork was extremely tender and flavorful, but I thought it was too sweet. Maybe they are flavoring it for local taste? I've never had anything this sweet, and my daughter also commented her pork chop over rice (not broken rice, just regular) was also way too sweet. My wife had beef pho and she said it was okay. I ordered Salty Lemonade and it was this weird soda with food coloring and a slice of lemon, instead of fizzy water with a pickled lemon. read more

Really delicious food -- the fried roll was the best I've tasted. The pho had a rich beef broth and had a generous portion of beef items. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Not fancy, reasonable prices. The only negative was the TV playing Fox News -- unappetizing to have that inflammatory and often untrue talk while trying to enjoy the food. I had heard from many reputable sources that this was the best pho in town and it did not disappoint. I'd like to give a huge shout out to Eric, who was extremely friendly and helped clarify that 'eye rounds' are not actually eyes. Yes, for all of you who did not know, 'eye rounds' are apparently a lean steak. Count me in on the list of the uninformed. This is all over the menu too, so I'm super thankful they don't have a big jar of eyes in the back. That didn't matter much to me as I prefer some veggies in my pho and I found the broth in that bowl to be very tasty. It's not as spicy as you may hope, but thankfully the sriracha isn't too far from reach. The presentation of the pho was excellent but I did wish there were more of those pho garnishes on the side -- the bean sprouts, limes, peppers. And there wasn't any basil which I found surprising. Despite this, the pho itself is still delicious and you'll be glad you made the trip to try out this place. Oh and one more thing, be wary of the straws if you get boba (pearls)! Just got back from California and I had my first pho experience while out there. So when I returned back from jersey we decided to look around monmouth county. I read a few reviews. We decided to visit this restaurant. Johnny was our waiter. He was great , attentive and , answered all of my questions. We ordered the shrimp summer roll and the crispy roll. Both to me were good. Nothing spectacular, great price. I ordered the pho with thin beef slices and my bf ordered the shrimp pho which I had no idea why he did that. ( well he is trying to eat less beef but I thought today he could bend a little ) after he tasted his meal he agreed with me. I added some onions , basil , splash of lime and 1 tiny slice of jalapeño pepper. I was fighting a cold so the soup was just what I needed but as of taste I felt it needed a bit more beefy flavor. The broth was very light tasting. In California it was a tad hardier. I will continue to try more places locally to me. This was about a 25 minute ride for us. I would still say give it a try. We came to this place on a whim and normally I don't post unless it's super positive. Our waitress was less than pleasant and waited on us on us as if we were in a hurry. I had asked for hot water and she had given me a plastic cup and not a glass mug. I get it - some restaurants are limited and don't give out glass cups or mugs but I digress. I had ordered 2 small pho's for my 2 young sons but was not informed that they did not come with noodles. It began to get busy and the one waiter wheeled out the bussing tote going table to table asking other customers how everything was going. Mind you, the place isn't very big and it was as if they were trying to hurry all the customers out. My husband had ordered a supreme/deluxe and he did not get any meat. He had sorted it out and paid at the counter and was compensated for a small Thai tea but then our waitress had come back to our table giving us a bill that was already paid for. Tried this place for the first time tonight. I called an order in for shrimp summer rolls, crispy spring rolls, steamed dumplings and their special house soup. They explained the order would be ready in 15 mins. Exactly 15 mins later it was ready to go! The restaurant was very cute , and not overdone. The employees were working hard as it was very crowded. The broth in the noodle soups was distinctively sweeter than others we've tasted, but I actually liked that a lot!
