We stopped in for a quick meal and it was great! We started with the crab rangoon and dumplings and they were both so flavorful and fresh. I got the chicken satay and the peanut sauce was some of the best I have had; it was so creamy and had a nice zip to it. I also got the glass noodle soup and it was cooked perfectly. I added some soy sauce as well. Our server was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back! read more

Thai jasmine to go is hands down one of the best thai restaurants I have ever been to. I have been coming here as frequently as possible since the wonderful owner opened a few years ago. Her and her family are from Thailand and have been making quality and Non-GMO authentic, Bangkok style Thai cuisine for many years. The atmosphere is great in there (pre pandemic) as they currently do not allow indoor dining or entry of the establishment of any kind. Soaps and other products are sold at the front as well. The food is great and they are very accommodating. I personally love everything here but I most often get the Beef Pad See Ew or Duck Rad Prik. Portions are a little smaller than what I am used to but with respect I am a HUGE EATER. The restaurant itself is very very clean and the food is always extremely fresh. Covid has unfortunately driven the prices significantly but in my eyes it is worth it to keep places like this going. There isn't anything bad I can say about this place and if you like Thai food it is a must! Another thing id like to note is that they use proper noodles for the pad see ew. I have been to several Thai restaurants who use a mock noodle that isn't anywhere near as amazing. Fortunately they use only the best here. Lastly, anywhere you go it is always best to eat in. I can say when you eat the food in here it is TOP NOTCH. Unfortunately that is not an option right now so the next best thing is still amazing. Good assorted appetizers, the vegetarian yellow Curry was weird, soupy but tasty base, only large chunks of potatoes ( which were hard and undercooked) and some rare onion pieces? WTF!?? but the ordered description said there were vegetables? I guess a few chunks of undercooked potato and a few pieces of onion is all you get here for 18 bucks...want veggies w that? Uh, yuhhh. Who ever heard of just yellow potato chunks vegetarian curry? Maybe they mixed up my order with the O'Brian's? The shrimp entree was small, (as in appetizer size) but tasty, but not worth $27. Maybe 17? At least there were some veggies, about 20 bucks worth apparently! The really small shrimp (about 6-7) must be individually caught by hand in Thailand and shipped separately express mail...that postage is a killer! read more

Really good Thai take out (also have sit down). The drunken noodles and spicy basil rice are outstanding and packed with flavor and spice. For $14 a meal, you can't beat it. Staff is also very nice. They had an issue with their credit card machine when I was in and instead of asking me to go get cash, they called me about 15 minutes later and took my credit info over the phone when the system was back up. Very good Thai food. I wasn't even aware that they were here for about a year now. I got takeout out since I wanted to go home and just relax with a couple of beers. Got the Drunken Noodles with beef, which I was told was made with homemade noodles. You had me at "homemade".... It was excellent. Perfectly seasoned and SPICED. Full disclosure: I am Hungarian and like highly spiced ("spiced" as in hot) food. However, I did not tell them to make it extra spicy, and it came out moderately spicy. Just perfect, in my opinion, if you don't want to have a sweating contents. I saw a review saying that the Drunken Noodles were too spicy and they weren't warned. First, if you know anything about Thai food, you know that the vast majority of savory dishes are going to be spicy. So if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen..... Just kidding. You should have told them ahead to make your order bland... err... Not spicy. Second, your going to ruin it for the rest of us. Ethnic restaurants from Szechuan to Mexican to Thai are already under the (probably correct) impression that Americans can't handle spicy food. So when someone like me comes in and asks them to make it spicy, they're afraid to do so properly. Also ordered the Sticky Rice with Mango. It was good as well, but, in all honesty, like flan, it's a hard dish screw up. Based on my last visit to Herb's Thai Kitchen, this place is better. I will definitely be back for some of their more adventurous dishes like one of the duck dishes. read more

Every new Thai restaurant I get drunken noodles. I don't know what I received but the drunken noodles I received were horrible. Watery, mushy, and no flavor. The same with the Tom Kha Gai soup, flavor was ok, but filled with hard stems from the lemon grass. If I could give zero stars I would. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. read more

I noticed Thai Jasmine had popped up in a local strip mall while driving to work a few weeks ago. It's wonderful to see more restaurant options in Point Pleasant! Yes, the sign is deceiving. There is adequate seating to dine-in. I arrived on Thursday around 7:30PM. The restaurant was near full and I thought what a great sign for a new business! As I opened the door, I noticed only one woman tending to a takeout customer at the register. I made my way towards her and she informed me I could sit anywhere I liked. I sat down and was immediately offered water while the menu was placed on the table. I was given about ten minutes to look over the menu - enough time for me to look around for an employee. I'm assuming the woman behind the counter was an owner because she was also my waitress. She was sweet and apologized for the long(ish) wait. I decided on the Samosa appetizer and Chicken Pad Thai totaling $22.33. The food was tasty. Sweet, salty, spicy. It was what you would expect from a Thai restaurant and met any expectation I might have had. I am, however, rating three stars on account of the fact two small boys, possibly the owners sons, were using the restaurant like a playground (running, yelling, jumping, etc.). I felt very uncomfortable watching them race each other back and forth from wall to wall. I was more concerned that they could get injured rather than how the food tasted. I understand "children will be children" and most times I find children in the workplace endearing, but this was not. Will I be back? Possibly. Was the food above and beyond? Not really. Thai Jasmine followed through! The roasted duck special was amazing. The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside, but soft and moist on the inside. The coconut sauce made the dish. It was perfectly seasoned with just a bit of spice to it, that made itself present more in the back of the throat than the tongue. The chicken pad thai was also delicious, but may have been slightly dry. That being said, the chicken and noodles were cooked very well! ___ UPDATE: I took 1 star off as some of the food didn't seem as fresh the second go around. If I could give this place a zero, I would. I ordered over $40.00 worth of food and it was not good. The oil tasted bad - the spring rolls were soggy, and the food wasn't tasty. I tried to let them know they needed to change their oil and the woman didn't bother to ask questions and was rude. I checked out the menu on Monday night...entrees were pretty much $14.95 but they were closed. Ordered the next night and they added $2 per each entree and 3% if you use a card. And beef was an extra $3. Nothing online about all these extra price increases. So for 3 entrees and an appetizer...$82 for average take out....so I guess you better check the prices with an actual person and not rely on the menu taped to the door. Very misleading. You try and help out a local business and you get taken advantage of.....just be honest....we are all struggling with increases in gas and basic necessities. read more

Love this place! Was in the plaza and noticed they just opened. I stopped by to grab a to go menu and the woman at the counter was so sweet. I went back today to get some dinner to go and the green curry with tofu was awesome. So tasty and fresh we also ordered from the part of the menu where it says chef recommendation it was the spicy eggplant dish that was great too! I will definitely be back! read more

I truly don't want to give lower than 3 stars since it is a brand new business. Came for lunch specials and tried their shrimp Thai fried rice and hubby had chicken spicy fried rice. Cost extra for shrimp and chicken. So I paid $9.50 for my shrimp Thai fried rice that only came with 3 little shrimps and a plate full of very very salty rice! My hubby's plate barely had any chicken in his rice. We paid close to $20 for fried rice! Very disappointed. See attached photos. read more
