We were very excited to try this place after getting this recommendation from locals. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. We got the Singapore noodles and the fresh chow mein and both were super bland and not appealing. The shrimp fresh spring rolls were also very vegetable scarce. The service was very prompt and we got our food literally within 5 min of ordering. This might look good at the first glance but we suspected that they already pre made everything ahead of time and just mixed them together. Moreover, the food gave me upset stomach the next day which confirmed my suspicions that the food was probably stale. The people were very pleasant but I'm not willing to eat the food again unfortunately. The pho was very tasty and the noodles were different from other pho spots I've tried from the U.S. and I liked these noodles more. The short ribs were good. They were cooked well, maybe could have had a little bit more flavor, but still good. I loved that it had a lot of rice and a great portion of ribs. I greatly enjoyed the coconut juice. The halo halo was very very sweet. I probably wouldn't order again but I had to try it cuz I love halo halo. I do like that they packaged the drinks like most places pack boba to-go (with a sealed top). The prices were on point for the amount of food that was given. A local employee from the hotel we are staying at recommended this place. So happy we listen to go here. It was clean and had free/ convenient parking. It was only 11 minutes away from Niagara Falls. The place was nice and clean. The waiter was so polite and knew the menu, answered our questions. He was also very patient with our order. The food was delicious. I had spring rolls. Competition is fierce over here with Vietnamese food. The place was pretty full when we got there. Great prices and portions. The Pho is good and so is the grilled pork chop. Why the three stars? My bun was underwhelming. I always get the spring roll and grilled meat combo and my meat did not have that nice char and my spring roll was bland. I had a chance to dine in at least three times at this authentic Viet restaurant as we were out in the area looking for a new home for my folks. Being pho lovers like myself, my parents were ecstatic to find a pho joint so close to their new home that was legitimate amazing even by Toronto standards. We have tried various pho dishes, vermicelli bowls and fresh rolls and the food here is just out of this world. I particularly love how rich their broth for spicy Thai soup is. Visited Niagara for a little family getaway and we have always ordered take out from here to eat at our hotel. On our most recent visit we dined in for lunch before hitting the road home with high expectations because take out experiences alone were always consistently so good and we were glad we did. My parents and I were in Niagara Falls Canada for 2.5 days and we went here for two of the days. I am sure if we had more time on the last day, we would have ended up here for lunch or dinner again. Pho Viet Nam 3969 is a a pretty spacious restaurant that is very clean and nicely decorated. The menu is quite extensive considering there isn't a huge Vietnamese population in the area. They have everything from hot pots to pho to specialty smoothie drinks. I ordered the pho with meatballs on my first visit and the hu tieu on my second visit. Both tasted delicious and authentic and were very fitting for the cold and rainy days. I also had a taste of the mango salad that we ordered for appetizer and that tasted super refreshing. They gave us a lot of mango and the dish could have been a meal on its own. For drinks, I liked that they had a nice variety of flavors for smoothies. I tried the sour sop smoothie and really enjoyed it! It tasted like they used the real fruit instead of artificial flavorings. My parents are super extra picky about eating Vietnamese food at restaurants as they can just cook it themselves. Generally, they are hard critics whenever we go out to eat Vietnamese food. But they really loved it here and said that everything they tried tasted delicious and they appreciate how clean the restaurant is. The people that work here were very nice, friendly and helpful to us. They made our experience very pleasant. Overall, a solid spot for some amazing Vietnamese food. A warm bowl of pho dac biet after spending a day at Niagara Falls makes your tiredness melted away. Perfect comfort food in this cold weather. I stumbled upon this place after a fail attempt at Pho Xyclo (found out it was closed permanently without any notice on Yelp). This place is 20 min drive from the Niagara Parks but it was worth the drive. Pros: Plenty of parking spaces. The servers were not the friendliest that you can find elsewhere but they were sufficient. I ordered Pho Dac Biet in small and the amount was perfect. The broth is pretty good compared to some other Pho restaurants in downtown Toronto. (pretty sure there is MSG in it but a little is not too bad for you) They even have a separate room for smokers (not that I'm a fan of it since smoking is not even allowed insides the restaurants in California which is where I'm from). Cons: Serving time is kinda slow since I only ordered a bowl of Pho (I used to work at a Pho restaurant so I know how fast this soup can be served and I came in when the place wasn't crowded) Washroom is dirty. I guess they don't have enough workers to keep up with the work. Overall, I would come back to this place next time I visit Niagara Falls again. read more

One of the best Viet places in the Niagara region! Outside of the touristy area, prices are reasonable. They have a rather large patio set up in the parking lot now for covid. Service is decent. On the side I also got a pennywort drink and pork blood. The pork blood was sitting in a broth . It would have been better if the broth didn't look like they dumped a crap load of sate in there. Pho Vietnam 999 has become our favorite restaurant for noodle soup in Niagara. The food is plentiful and taste great. The restaurant is clean and quiet. They've made a good job of converting the old diner into a comfortable place. We always order the same thing, so I'm not sure how the rest of the menu holds up but the Pho is very tasty with plenty meat, and the fresh rolls are that fresh. Located on a strip plaza and feelin hungry we decided to give it a try since there were no other restaurants around the area and based on yelp review 4 stars. Tried this restaurant for the first time and when my wife's chicken dish came ( menu option 630) she said it didn't taste right and asked me to taste it. It tasted stale and very bland. My dish (menu item 629) was watery and the sauce didn't stick to the noodles and was very flavourless. I was starving so I ate most of mine. My wife then ordered a pork chop which was OK since she was starving by that time. We sent the chicken dish back with only one small morsel of chicken missing and a forkful of rice. When it came time to pay, they charged us for the chicken dish. The server went back into the kitchen and said the manager said they will take 20% off for a dish that was thrown away. I asked for the manager but the server said that was restaurant policy. I am a foodie and in every restaurant I have every been to in my 50 years eating out, I have never been charged for something that I didn't like especially when only after having just a small taste. Horrible management and they didn't have the courtesy to comer to the front to listen to the complaint. Restaurants know the power of customer referrals and that's why they do the utmost to cater to their customers. One of best Pho I've ever had! The broth was full of beefy flavor and the hint of spices was not too overpowering. Friendly and fast service. The menu has a huge variety of food as well. The 50s diner decor is kitschy and fun. The pho is good but check out th rest of the menu. I love the fried crab claw (which isn't actually a claw, it's like a fluffy crab-flavored omelette, soooo unexpectedly good), the fresh summer rolls, and anything on the menu that features fried pork skins.
