Best pho in Canada so far for me. Proper "large" bow similar to California. All the ingredients are true and not Americanized. Also not overly sweet like many pho places and instead rely on lemon to add the sweetness which is exactly how it should be. Also provide red pepper which is a big plus as most places do not offer Asian pepper but jalapeños instead. I'm a fan.

Pho Xyclo was my first sit down meal in Niagara Falls on Sunday 11/23. I've been craving noodle soup, and I figured pho would be a great option. This place is not far from my hotel, and I'm glad I came. The service was great- I was seated right away, and they explained to me how it works with ordering. The food came out freshly made to order and piping hot. It was pretty busy for a Sunday late afternoon, and yet I didn't have to wait long before my spring roll and pho arrived. The portions are decent, the quality is good, and the pricing is fair. They take cash or Canadian debit here. There's also plenty of free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area again, and I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for Vietnamese cuisine.

One star for the waiter Worst pan-fried noodles I've ever had from a Vietnamese restaurant. We're from Georgia and found this place through Google Maps. We ordered four noodle dishes, but none of us could finish them. The noodles tasted undercooked and not properly done inside. Very disappointing experience.

Large space, quick friendly service, and delicious Vietnamese (southern flavour) foods! We ordered the bun bo hue and the rice with pork chops and i love how you get an entire bottle of fish sauce to yourself! Aside from that, a real knife to cut up your pork chops with is just the best thing! So many (most) Vietnamese places gives you a butter knife and you think, cmon guys - not this old joke again! If you're visiting from Toronto, it's highly recommended. I now know why they have such high ratings!

I was at Niagara Falls looking for Vietnamese food as I was craving for it. I stumbled across this restaurant and decided to try it out. I got the grilled beef and spring roll with vermicelli. It tasted great with decent amount of meat but the portion could've been a bit more especially for the price. Overall it was definitely a satisfying meal. The service was good.

Stopped here on the way back to the states after some shopping. It was quite busy so that was definitely a good sign that the food was good. They give you a piece of paper where you write down what you want, which was interesting. The spring roll was okay. The pho was good, but it had more noodles than meat. I was also expecting it to be much bigger in size. The broth was decent, but didn't have that burn from the spices that I'm used to. It was closer to a regular beef broth in terms of flavor. The others got the grilled meat dishes over vermicelli with the fish sauce and they both loved it. The Vietnamese coffee was good and the passion fruit juice was definitely freshly squeezed! Will definitely consider stopping by in the future to try the rest of the menu.

Food was good especially the drinks. Love the fresh passion fruit juice, just alittle too sweet and the cup was on the small side for $7.

Crazy how I've visited Niagara region for years but I only found out about this hidden gem recently. The restaurant is in a small plaza about 5 mins drive away from the casino and the rest of the tourist place. The price is decent and comparable to Toronto however I find that the price for vermicelli is slightly on the higher side compared to other places. The portion sizes are very generous. I ordered the grilled pork chop pho and Singapore noodle, while the rest of the family ordered some more pho and vermicelli. Everything tasted so good except for the Singapore noodle. It wasn't authentic at all and they used too much soya sauce making it more brown than yellow. Service was quick and friendly! Would definitely come back again in the future!

This is the place to go if you're curious about Vietnamese food. Nice comfortable atmosphere, an explanatory menu and not bad food, adjusted for Western tastes (you know because a real place wouldn't charge for tea).

I'm so glad I found this place! As you all know, restaurants along Clifton Hill and around the casinos are always overpriced. This Vietnamese restaurant is tucked in a plaza about 10m away from the touristy area. Nothing special about the decor, the typical tables and chairs that you'd find in any pho places. We ordered pho, vermicelli bowl and the sizzling beef. All items came out piping hot. The beef was flavourful and tender, though I wish there were more of it. The gravy wasn't too salty and paired nicely with steam rice. The pho had a flavourful broth and a good ratio of toppings to noodles. The vermicelli bowl came with a crunchy spring roll and delicious, not fatty, pork pieces. Only thing that was strange was that they wanted to charge for tea (which is usually free at other Vietnamese establishments). The waiter were tentative, it wasn't very busy that Sunday night. I will surely come back to Pho Xyclo the next time I'm in the falls.

I only write up reviews for good, tasty food. After 4 dinners in Toronto, we're so ready for Viet food! At first, we were a bit reserved since good, authentic Viet food is hard to find in remote areas. We ordered from House special Pho (not strong beef smell, no after taste from MSG) +, Special Crab noodle soup (really tasty, perfect Northern style) +, Xyclo sizzling beef (beef was tender and tasty, not chewy, not salty) +, Braised Fish in Claypot (perfect southern style) +, Grilled pork and Spring roll (the fish sauce is perfect!) +, Xiclo Chicken and Shrimp noodle (no soggy stir fried, which is excellent!) +. Spring rolls (chả gio, crispy not sticky!) +, Xyclo Fresh rolls (the peanut sauce was tasty, not too sweet!) Overall, all 7 members of my family, including me, the finicky eaters agreed to give Pho Xyclo a perfect 5!

    Fried rice tasty

The service and good were amazing and the atmosphere authentic fried rice was the pinnacle of the dishes . Thanks for the food!

The best part... the washrooms were clean! There were 3-4 stalls and the one I used, wasn't moonlighting as a bathroom... win!! Service was good, friendly and kind... they didn't check in on us but they did have a couple of large tables so maybe that's why they were busier. The bò kho served with bread would taste much better if the broth were thicker. Adding a little cornstarch to create a richer, more stew-like consistency would make it perfect for dipping bread. Another concern is that the bowls, spoons, and cups all had a very strong dish soap smell. It seems like the dish soap wasn't rinsed off completely before putting the dishes into the dishwasher, and the detergent smell stayed on them. This can be harmful to customers' health and also makes the food less enjoyable. The restaurant itself is clean, and the service is very good. My only issue is the strong dish-soap smell on the utensils and dishes -- it really takes away my appetite.

Pho Bowl Vietnamese Restaurant I have not had pho in this area of Canada, so I decided to try Pho Bowl. The reviews said this was a good spot. Really? Are you people from mars? How can you say this pho broth is good? It's not even bone broth like it should be. Let me start, we walked in and they gave us an order slip. What? Do I fill it out? Don't expect a big tip. Solid egg rolls, and my partner liked the garlic noodles so much that he looked up how to recreate the recipe at home. It's definitely not something you see on a lot of Vietnamese menus, but it's such a unique, Vietnamese-American creation that I'm glad we were able to try it out here! Main course: I got a banh mi xiu mai, because that's something that's almost impossible to find on the east coast, and it was done exceptionally well. The bread (which I was told they bake fresh in-house!) was light and airy on the inside with a thin crispy crust on the outside. I also got an avocado smoothie, which was not too sweet-- everyone saw me get one, taste-tested it, and proceeded to order one as well LOL. Between the 30 of us, we essentially got everything on the menu, and everyone was pleased with their food. I got a lot of comments saying, "This is the best Vietnamese food I've had outside of California," and if you're in the know, you know that's a crazy high compliment! I wish I took pictures of the food, but we were too busy eating and socializing--which is a sign of good food I guess! Would definitely come back if I'm ever craving Viet food and am in the area.
