The tendon came on the side for an $8 charge, and was a bit more tough than normal, but I loved my pho. The bun that I tried was great, as were the rolls. Service: kind service. The app on the QR code menu was a little confusing of whether I had to add certain ingredients or not, but the food was served quickly. Ambiance: fine. Possibly I ordered the most boring and bland dish on the entire menu, Chow Fun Cantonese Style Noodle. Who knew? Plus, the noodles were stuck together like one big tasteless, noodle brick. I couldn't even pull it easily with chopsticks. I thought I would cry seeing all the happy looking customers around. Most of them ordered soups. My partner's pho looked quite good, but, as he put it, "the broth was below average, the rest of the ingredients were average." Best pho in Canada so far for me. Proper "large" bow similar to California. All the ingredients are true and not Americanized. Also not overly sweet like many pho places and instead rely on lemon to add the sweetness which is exactly how it should be. Pho Xyclo was my first sit down meal in Niagara Falls on Sunday 11/23. I've been craving noodle soup, and I figured pho would be a great option. This place is not far from my hotel, and I'm glad I came. The service was great- I was seated right away, and they explained to me how it works with ordering. The food came out freshly made to order and piping hot. It was pretty busy for a Sunday late afternoon, and yet I didn't have to wait long before my spring roll and pho arrived. The portions are decent, the quality is good, and the pricing is fair. They take cash or Canadian debit here. There's also plenty of free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the strip mall. Stopped here on the way back to the states after some shopping. It was quite busy so that was definitely a good sign that the food was good. They give you a piece of paper where you write down what you want, which was interesting. The spring roll was okay. The pho was good, but it had more noodles than meat. I was also expecting it to be much bigger in size. The broth was decent, but didn't have that burn from the spices that I'm used to. It was closer to a regular beef broth in terms of flavor. The others got the grilled meat dishes over vermicelli with the fish sauce and they both loved it. The Vietnamese coffee was good and the passion fruit juice was definitely freshly squeezed! Crazy how I've visited Niagara region for years but I only found out about this hidden gem recently. The restaurant is in a small plaza about 5 mins drive away from the casino and the rest of the tourist place. The price is decent and comparable to Toronto however I find that the price for vermicelli is slightly on the higher side compared to other places. The portion sizes are very generous. I ordered the grilled pork chop pho and Singapore noodle, while the rest of the family ordered some more pho and vermicelli. Everything tasted so good except for the Singapore noodle. It wasn't authentic at all and they used too much soya sauce making it more brown than yellow. Service was quick and friendly! Would definitely come back again in the future! read more

Now thinking of it, most of the menu was pho except there was one different topping, which is something to expect but I found it a little inconvient. Pho itself was sort of decent. I'm so glad I found this place! As you all know, restaurants along Clifton Hill and around the casinos are always overpriced. This Vietnamese restaurant is tucked in a plaza about 10m away from the touristy area. Nothing special about the decor, the typical tables and chairs that you'd find in any pho places. We ordered pho, vermicelli bowl and the sizzling beef. All items came out piping hot. The beef was flavourful and tender, though I wish there were more of it. The gravy wasn't too salty and paired nicely with steam rice. The pho had a flavourful broth and a good ratio of toppings to noodles. The vermicelli bowl came with a crunchy spring roll and delicious, not fatty, pork pieces. Only thing that was strange was that they wanted to charge for tea (which is usually free at other Vietnamese establishments). The waiter were tentative, it wasn't very busy that Sunday night. Our first sit-down meal at Niagara Falls was at this restaurant. It's less than 10 min drive from the falls and there is ample free parking for guests. Ambiance of the restaurant is simple and quiet when we went, but you're here for the food not really the atmosphere. Restaurant is quite large and can comfortably seat 10 or more. Just give the restaurant a heads-up. I'm pleasantly surprised that this pho restaurant is so good and tastes authentic, even though it's in such a prime touristy spot. Besides the classics like pho they also serve a wide selection of South Asian dishes that many Vietnamese restaurants don't always have, like laksa and bun rieu (pork, crab and tomato noodle soup). Be sure to scroll to the back pages of their menu, where they highlight their signature dishes. I recommend the bun rieu at $15! Thanks for the tip from another Yelper who suggested the dish. It's so flavourful and different from the normal pho spots. I could sub the original vermicelli for pho noodles too. Pretty nice place close to the falls! Our family was staying at a Fallsview in Resort, and this place was maybe 5 to 10 minutes away, so it was very close by. The service was a little bit slow, but they were very crowded, so it may have just been the time of day that we came. As far as the food goes, I think it was pretty decent, maybe not the best I've ever had, but not bad either. I got the curry laksa, and I found it to be a little watery to tell the truth, but the flavors were on point, and it would've been a really great curry if it had been a little bit creamier. Went to crystal beach today this has been 4 years ago pre Covid since I've been to Pho Xyclo. Since it was on the way home back to Toronto I decided to visit this place. I had a great experience last time so decided to come back again. Service: Excellent the servers greet you at the door. Promptly seated and my food came really quick! Servers were attentive and always asking if everything was ok. Food: As with most restaurants post Covid the prices of food went up I ordered the fresh shrimp rolls and Bun Bo Hue their mixed meat spicy noodle soup. The fresh rolls Was missing mint leaves but it was tasty. The soup Broth was very authentic although this soup was missing pigs feet an pigs blood which is the authentic version. First time stopping by this Vietnamese restaurant on our road trip to Niagara Falls and we loved it! It is located a few minutes drive from Niagara Falls / Incline Railway and it has a big parking lot. The waiters were very friendly, patient and prompt. My family of 5 (including a 5-year old) ordered four pho soup noodles to share and the food portion was big enough to fill everyone of us up. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The service was horrific and terrible, and the food itself was salty. We came in for lunch on our way back to cross the border from Canada. The servers were very rude when we came in. We were told to write our order down and did not see the sizes of the bowls that we needed to include. In a very condescending voice the server said: YOU NEED TO WRITE DOWN YOUR SIZE. First Strike. After we got our order situated (which was 5 bowls of pho), they brought out the vegetables that go with the pho and 4 slices of lime (this is a staple for pho because a lot of Vietnamese people put lime in their bowls). It wasn't enough so we asked for extra limes, they brought out 3 pieces (still not enough), and we asked another time and they brought us one piece of lime.. Are limes really that expensive? You're charging 17 dollars for a bowl of pho and can't spare limes? Second Strike. After we received our food, the taste of the food is very salty compared to a lot of other pho places. This is coming from a Vietnamese person, who has had plenty of bowls of pho in our lifetimes. We didn't finish our bowls and just left. Third Strike. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY, go somewhere else. To management: Hire better servers that actually provide the customers with a pleasant experience. My palette for Vietnamese food may be different from others, which is fine, but your servers are condescending and should not be this way to your customers. read more

Upon entry, our family of 4 were greeted right away and was guided to how we can order (scanning of a QR Code taped to the table) Everything looked so good on the menu so we ordered a bunch of different items including my kids favourite (plain noodle soup). We had also ordered a beer and a guava martini, which I was excited about until we kept waiting and waiting and waiting (the beer had long since been dropped off). So we asked what was taking so long on that drink. They then realized that they missed that order and started to make it. Once it arrived to our table, I took a fairly big sip and was regretting asking where this drink was. It tasted like straight cheap vodka; zero guava, it was disgusting.
