Note, I'm a crazy pho eater that has to have pho from all over. I travel far and in between the states. Eating from LA, Vegas, MN, WI, MI, IL, OH, Manhattan, FI, KS, MS, GA, canada, etc. I make reviews after tasting their pho. I know what pho is good and what is fake! Being Hmong, I try not to be bias, "only Vietnamese people can cook pho! The restaurant started from a Vietnamese owner." Pho Bowl Vietnamese Restaurant I have not had pho in this area of Canada, so I decided to try Pho Bowl. The reviews said this was a good spot. Really? Are you people from mars? How can you say this pho broth is good? It's not even bone broth like it should be. Let me start, we walked in and they gave us an order slip. What? Do I fill it out? Don't expect a big tip. I filled it out. Waited for service. Confused. We eventually got our food. Stop! Their was a long white hair in our food. Nasty. Really. How can you miss it. Nasty. Someone is loosing hair? Old hair. Sorry. You should know better. They did not even remove the item or give us credit. Wow. Your tip is really going to look bad. The pho? I tasted the broth and it was not good at all. For starters, they gave me pork meat. Which is a no no. I know the difference. I ordered the Pho special, I know what I'm expecting. Pho Dac Biet taste better than this. This was clearly a fake pho special. Bad broth. Wrong meat. Sorry. This was a disaster. I had so much high hopes. How can people say their pho was the best in Canada? Wtf? Please. Dumpster fire. $5 tip from $70 bill. That's the kind of service I got. Next to nothing. I paid myself because I took my own order. The only positive is the amount of pho in their extra large. Otherwise this place has gone down. They maybe very good at one time but for sure they are lost. Sell. Update and purge workers. The pho presentation is on par but the broth needs fixing. Don't go cheap on the broth! The place is clean. They need help. read more

Typically served with clear slightly chewy tapioca noodles, this dish can be ordered wet (noodles in broth) or dry (broth on the side). I prefer mine dry because I can adjust how much broth I want to use, if any. The broth is clear and light, which I find perfect for the summer or when you are sick of greasy food. Toppings vary between restaurants, but it's usually an assortment of meat and fish balls. While I'm Vietnamese, I don't eat pho very often. Saw a sign, haven't had a pho for a long time so gave a try. Very nice chic interior, clean and nice atmosphere. O Friendly server, explained the item well. Ordered beef pho medium rare. It was very good, awesome broth and tender beef. One negativity was that it took while to receive a bill. My husband and I found this place sort of by accident. The restaurant we usually went to for pho's payment system was down and it was cold, we were sick and we weren't going home until we had pho! This is some of the best pho I've ever had, and it's vegan! But, it is a little confusing as they have two 'vegetable' broths so make sure you specify vegan if that's what you're after. The vegetable spring rolls are seriously to die for! We could have eaten plate after plate of just these, they're that good! The prices for the quality and quantity (the pho bowls are huge) are very good, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Staff is great and answered all of our questions. Thankful for the ratings on here that helped us find this place on our quest to find some thorn yummy off the main strip in Niagara. Easy to find, very clean, they have measures in place for contact tracing. You can tell they take pride in their food. We ordered Vietnamese sausage, which came with cold noodles, salad and fish sauce as an app. Then two bowls of pho and a bbq pork fried rice. The food was very fresh and flavourful. There were a few people there who come from far just for their pho (that's a good sign). Might go back tonight before we head home tmr! read more

We really like the food here. We took our order to go and while we waited the young man gave my son sone really good candy. The food tasted pretty good. They serve pretty big servings so we pretty much had it for two nights. The price was not bad at all and quality was great. Definitely coming back. They were pretty friendly. read more

This used to be a great restaurant but I think it has changed owners in the last year because the quality and flavor are no longer served. The spring rolls are like something you'd find in the frozen foods section of your local supermarket and the pho is subpar and if little flavor. They're either severely cutting expenses, hired a new cook or sold the business while retaining the recipes for the quality, tasty dishes I remember in the last year. Its bland at best. I won't be coming back again. What shame. Complete 180 from what it once was. I hate generic processed food. read more

Went to Pho Bowl for the first time with the family. Nice place. Clean with a new decor the staff is friendly and food came out fast. We ordered fresh rolls and pho as usual. Hot steaming bowl of noodle in a tasty broth. Plenty of meat, and the extra large bowl is a small swimming pool. So if you're really hungry, the extra large will make you happy. The 3 places in Niagara Falls that offer pho are on the same playing field as far as we're concerned. They all have good noodles, clean restaurants and fair prices. If you're on Lundy's Lane, it's a no-brainer to eat here. read more

Dropped in after a long day of Boxing Day shopping. A pleasant enough restaurant but obviously recycled from what was previously there. Nearly empty, we were greeted immediately by a young perky server and offered drinks. Our usual hot tea was delivered as we looked over the menu. Like most Pho restaurants, we wrote down our number and handed in the order. It was a typical Pho menu with a lot to choose from. Tonight I opted for pork chop with rice and my partner in crime ordered the BBQ pork with egg noodle soup. We also ordered the spicy deep fried tofu to share. My pork chop was what I expected. The meat quality was average and a bit tough, but had a nice flavour. The portions were quite generous and was prepared well glistening with juices. Not bad. The rice was typical and I could tell it was freshly cooked. The soup look delicious with a good portion of thinly sliced BBQ pork. Nicely garnished with greens, bean sprouts and fried garlic. The broth looked rich and was told quite flavourful and very good. The deep fried tofu was a bit of a fail I must say. It was terribly overlooked to the point where they were hard Lego bricks. Crunchy to say the least. Heavy on the grease, it was salty spicy flavoured with chopped onions and red peppers. The flavour was good, but poorly executed. Maybe some people like it crisp, but not this crunchy. I would not recommend it. Maybe the deep fried shrimp or squid would have been better. It was a nice quiet meal that we enjoyed after a long exhausting day. For a quick hot bowl of pho, not bad. I would have to caution you on the rest of the menu though if the tofu is any indication of how they prepare other dishes. read more

Did not have a good experience both in terms of food and service. As for food, I ordered the seafood curry with rice. Instead of fried rice, I requested to substitute with white rice. When it came out, it did not have curry sauce. When they provided me with a side of curry, it was not good and tasteless. The entire dish was "blah". The one positive is that they did provide a good amount of seafood. Service: The server brought out the wrong order to my table twice. He did not bring water after initially asking. In general, he did not seem to care at all. I got the impression that management kind of knew his lack of interest as I believe one of the managers pointed out the "rice error" to him. After a long day of driving, we were looking around for a place to eat and came here. When we entered, a nice waiter welcomed us in. they seated us in the quiet part of the restaurant and we ordered pho and fried rice. The food came at a normal speed. Pros and cons: Pros - not a lot of oil in the pho which is something that not a lot of pho restaurants are able to do. If you decide to come here, definitely try the pho. The fried rice was exceptionally well made, tasted fresh and was in generous portions. We repeatedly tried to get the attention of the staff to refill our drinks and bring our check and they just ignored us.
