This place is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. It says so on their menu. It's not closed Mondays because I came on a Monday. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet, which is the pho to judge other pho places. It's like ordering a Margherita pizza to judge pizza places. Anyway, I ordered an extra large bowl of their pho. The bowl was gigantic, and I barely finished it. It was a mistake for me to order extra large pho. It was too much of a good thing. My toilet paid for it afterwards. It's not like I'm 25 again where I can eat an extra large bowl of pho, some spring rolls, and finish it off with boba tea. The pho had your standard junk that Pho Dac Biet should have: tripe, tendon, brisket, flank, and meatballs. I didn't expect to have meatballs, but that was a nice surprise. The broth was nice and fatty. I didn't find my broth to be too salty either. It sounds gross, but if you leave the broth around in the bowl after you finish it, you will see globs of fat start forming in the broth. I didn't mind that. Although I know some people won't like that. The broth is probably bad for you, but what Pho broth is healthy for you? It's suppose to have the nice amount of spice, salt, MSG, and fat--all the bad stuff to make things taste good. The pho came with your standard garnishes: lime, culantro, cilantro, basil, jalapeños, and bean sprouts. The cilantro was a nice touch. It's usually in the broth, but they seem to have it separately. Even though the address says Jimmy Carter Blvd, it's actually on Britt Rd. So turn on Britt Rd to see the building. Overall, it's a decent place for pho. I give it 3.5 stars. read more

I love the fact that there is a 24 hour Pho place in ATL. The bad part is that they're so far from me. I luv pho is located on jimmy carter way past the Hong Kong Supermarket which is already a trek for me. the restaurant is fairly large and has an open seating area with patio space as well. They were pretty busy the day I went and everyone seemed to be enjoying their Pho. it was a bit funny because I didn't see any rice dishes. Not ONE!!! Mr Le, the owner had previous restaurants in Texas which followed the same exact design scheme and menu. He sold it and opened a clone restaurant here in Atlanta. He definitely knows what he's doing. The service is good, they have many large TVs as well. The downside is that they were showing Viet - Idol. Very disturbing and a bit distracting.... It's a popular Vietnamese dish in Saigon, as popular as pho. The waiters are always quick, and attentive. The atmosphere is spacious and family friendly with lots of tables and chairs. I literally love Pho! It makes me happy! This is a soup that I'm always in the mood for. If I'm cold, sick, or just sad. Pho makes me happy and I always seal the deal with their delicious taro shake! It's amazing! You must try it! The only reason I didn't give four stars is the staff isn't very friendly nor do they pay attention to you table after they have served your meal. I guess they expect their food to just come out awesome every time and all the condiments are on the table BUT sometimes guests want additional appetizers or just more food in general. Came here with Tiila, who ordered Hu Tieu Nam Vang for me. It looks similar to pho but is actually quite different. The broth is pork-based and instead of beef or chicken, this dish comes with shrimp, liver, bbq pork slices, quail eggs, scallops, and a fried shrimp wonton on top. I don't stray much when it comes to Vietnamese food but I liked this okay...not so good that I would get it again, but good enough that I'm willing to come back and try again with something that I'm more familiar with to get a legit comparison with other pho places. I also got their Thai tea and added boba to it because the rest of the bubble tea menu looks to be the kind that's made with powder and then blended into an icy pulp. The tea was a bit too sweet, but perfect once some of the ice started to melt. Boba were mediocre, starting to tend towards being hard. I Luv Pho is probably the best of the 24 hour Vietnamese restaurants around. Not only does it serve pho, it also serves a variety of other staples like beef stew, spicy huey noodle soup, pork broth noodles (hu tiu mytho, namvang, etc.), and both dry and wet styles of both rice and egg noodle dishes prepared in the wok. The breadth of options is not unlike that of such places as Nam Phuong and Chateau Saigon, and superior to most simple pho joints be they 24 hours or not. The quality can be inconsistent but certainly respectable on good days. I would give this place 4 stars if there is more consistency. Even then, it's still an easy consideration if you are finishing up some late night activity near this area (usually for me that would be karaoke, or driving back into town late at night from a trip to the mountains). The space is large and bright and no-frills, and in the winter, it's always frigid. Overall, I like this place quite a bit for the broad offerings and availability, but prefer to go to a couple other Vietnamese restaurants at normal hours instead. read more

When they first opened it was great, and now I'm sure they have switched over many owners, the summer rolls aren't as fresh. The customer service can be slow but has always been great. I Luv Pho is definitely my go-to pho place now. Not to mention, it's super close to my house. I'm still a newcomer to Vietnamese cuisine and know there's more to it than just pho. But dammit, pho is just so tasty. I am trying to expand beyond pho, and will probably do so at I Luv Pho. The pho is very tasty and I swear by it's magical healing properties, when I have a cold. For an appetizer, I highly recommend the Pork Spring Rolls. And according to a neighbor, their rice dishes are tasty too. I luv how the rice is served in a heart shape. The hours are great. It's open 24 hours (but closed on Mondays), making it an awesome place to grab some late night eats. Additionally, the service is top notch. At some other pho places around town, you're lucky if you can get a refill. At I Luv Pho, my water glass is always filled. And instead of lemon, there's an orange slice. A nice touch if you ask me. This was a solid pick for a New Year's Day lunch after a very chilly hike up nearby Stone Mountain. Heads up that the map location for this spot on yelp is incorrect - it's not in a residential subdivision (surprise, surprise) but actually in the Food Depot shopping center. First, big props to them for being open on New Year's Day. Between pho's properties as a hangover cure and just about everything else in the vicinity being closed, it's no wonder they were hopping with nearly every table full throughout our entire visit. I'm not sure if it's always like this, but we were pretty much ignored by the waitstaff- it took a while to flag one down to take our order, about 10 minutes to get our food after ordering, and I never got the water refill for which I asked two servers. The fresh shrimp springrolls were definitely the highlight of the meal. Large and stuffed full of shrimp, pork, noodles, and veggies, they were accompanied by a big bowl of delicious peanut sauce. These are a must order, for sure. The pho was merely "okay." There's no medium size option, so I went with a large over a small. However, the only difference between the small and the large options was the amount of broth. There was no apparent difference in the amount of meat or noodles in either bowl. Additionally, the amount of herbs and sprouts and "stuff" brought to accompany our pho was a paltry amount for two people. There were precisely two stalks each of basil and cilantro for each person, four jalapeno slices, a small mound of sprouts, and one solitary lime wedge for us to share. I would have at least asked for a second lime wedge, but see aforementioned difficulty in flagging down a server. This place is GREAT if for no other reason than it's damn near the only 24hr diner-style (but not in decor, just hours of operation) place in this fake city we call "Metro ATL" Went here around midnight and there were about 10 people at one table and 10 more people scattered at several tables. Pretty busy for a random Wed night. FOOD: The Pho was much darker (broth) than at other places and tasted especially beefy and was quite oily on top. It had loads of onions (not chopped small) and much less beef and noodles than other Pho places I've been to in ATL. I wasn't thoroughly impressed by the quality of the broth, and was pretty disappointed by the amount of beef and noodles that came in the Large. Normally I can't finish a Large portion; here I not only finished it, but Kinda wanted more. The Fresh Shrimp Rolls were 1/2 the size of the competition's Summer Rolls and seemed to lack the right mix of fresh herbs w way too much bean sprouts. The plate of cilantro and veggies was piled high in a little boat which was great. EXPERIENCE: I asked my server about the Thai Pudding dessert on their menu, and she responded, "No I'm from Vietnam." Thank you, Captain obvious. Not sure if I'm alone on this, but I had menu questions, and I couldn't get an answer. Pretty frustrating that I can't communicate with my waiter unless I'm simply pointing to a letter/number and that's it. I'm gonna need you to know that Thai Pudding is on your menu, and it doesn't mean I'm asking you if you're from Thailand. SERVICE: Pretty thoughtful people. They checked in on us, and kept the water filled. It's much better service than other Vietnamese places in the area. I'd prefer the other places for quality of Pho, but man, you can't beat these hours for late night eats/snacks and just location. It's the ONLY option! For what it is, I'm ecstatic, but it's a late-night spot as opposed to any night spot. "I Luv Pho" gets two stars instead of one but that's only because of the really good service that we received from all the many different people that came to our table. I'm not sure who our actual server was because we literally had a different person at every step of the meal. Okay.. so I'm going to sound as nice as I can... If you're looking for somewhere that's open 24/7 and you don't care about the service, taste, or cleanliness, this is the place for you! I have been here around 10 times, spread out from their opening week to last night, with times ranging during the day to 2-4AM. Every time, without fail-- 1. Service sucked, no matter how busy or slow it was. Most of the time, if you wanted to get something, it was hard enough to flag any of them down and then it didn't matter if you spoke in English OR Vietnamese.. half the time they don't understand you or they "acknowledge" it and never return with what you asked for, even if you ask again or you ask a different waiter/waitress. On the slower nights, they're still running back and forth, really for no reason but to pretend to look busy. One time, my friends and I were the only ones there still being serviced and ALL the waiters decided to take their dinner break before a few of us even got our food. One of my friends ordered Pho, no less, which is the fastest thing to make, considering it's mainly a Pho joint and all they have to do is boil the broth, drop in the noodles and meat and they're done. 2. Food was of mediocre quality. Half of my friends agree, there is nothing that makes the food stand out in this place, better yet.. there's nothing remotely good in this place. I will admit that the quality of their food has improved slightly over time and MAYBE they will continue to do so, but I wouldn't count on it. It seems like they hit their plateau. Besides that, they don't really offer you a variety of things on their menu -- it only looks like a lot because they list 20 variations of pho, 10 variations of rice dishes and then the rest. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ordered a different type of dish every time. I've tried the pho, rice, bun, mi, and banh canh and they all tasted pretty bland. The broth for the pho is really dark [before any condiments are added].. which is NOT good. Truly good pho is opaque in color [usually a yellow-ish or light light brown]. 3. The place is absolutely FILTHY during the after-clubbing hours, though I'll place the majority of blame on the fact that there is a huge influx of completely intoxicated people. But still, that does not excuse the fact that it's never cleaned up. Of course, there is always a much greater chance that drinks are knocked over and napkins, utensils, and food fall to the floor when inebriated people are involved. Most of the time, the waiters just laugh at it and stick up one of those "Caution: Wet Floor" signs and walk away. Greeeeat. They'll make sure to clean the table tops, but in their rush, they really just push all the nasty stuff on the table onto the chairs and floor. So, make sure you clean off your chair before you sit down! And make sure you know where your feet are touching when you sit down, or else you'll find a nice surprise when you go home and take off your shoes. Bottom line: this is the perfect place to go when you're drunk, it's late, and you are craving Vietnamese food... OR you can go to Thien Thanh Restaurant on Buford Highway. Since it's less known to be a 24/7 joint, you're more likely to get better service and better food. read more

The shrimp Pho is my fav but the steak pho was also delicious. They use filet mignon unlike some of the other pho places Ive frequented which makes a huge difference. We also had their fried chicken wing appetizer which were fresh and fried hard but came out 10min after our entrees. Came here as a short respite from a long day of volleyball at Lucky Shoals park which is basically just a few blocks away. Wifey got the pho and I got a broken rice dish (shaped into a heart, no less) with grilled pork chop, ground pork, egg-cake with pork & mushrooms (if I remember correctly). The broth of the pho was quite tasty, and didn't really seem laced with MSG...which is good. The broken rice dish was tasty as well- none of the components were too salty- the grilled pork was definitely not your "center cut pork loin chop", but the sweet marinade was done properly and the meat tasted great. Since their last fiasco with the restaurant being shut down for having a very disturbing health department rating they have since switched up owners. We were welcomed by a report with 100 A by the front door. The restaurant does look cleaner and the food was pretty good, definitely better than typical pho restaurants but not the best. I had the "I Luv Pho" P10 large bowl of pho and the broth was good. Seems pretty standard from before so not sure if they changed up the cooks or not. Overall glad that they cleaned up their act with the new management. The menu seems the same so hopefully their "I Luv Pho" rice plate is still the same or improved. Came back for dinner last night with the SO since my tummy was being really uncooperative with everything lately and thought that a nice bowl of pho would really help. We walk in, and saw that they were pretty busy. A waitress showed us to a recently cleaned off table. We both ordered the pho and had a side of the vermicelli noodles and pork. The vermicelli came first and it was pretty good. I do wish that they would have put just a bit more meat in it though to help balance out the huge amount of noodles they put inside the bowl. The pho came out, and again, it was a huge amount which instantly brought a smile to my face. Unfortunately, after tasting, and then seasoning, and tasting, and even more seasoning, it just didn't taste right. I even asked SO thinking that it was just me and my tastebuds not being on the same page, but he agreed with me. The broth was definitely much more greasier than usual. You could actually even see the oil drops swimming on top. The noodles in the pho could have definitely been cooked a bit longer, they were still clumped together and I ended up having to pull the strands apart. I came to I Luv Pho this past Saturday with a few friends and I really liked it. The atmosphere was nice and friendly; we had a pretty funny waiter. The food was good too (but I think I've had better pho). I kinda felt like they didn't put enough noodles in my bowl. I didn't like the orange in my water LOL, and I kinda hated the way the tables were.. Like, there were only 4 of us and we were seated in the middle of the room at this loooong table with another family. I was quite surprised by how nice and spacious the place was, but then I forgot that they just opened. We were immediately seated and ours orders were taken without much wait. Second surprise came with the sliced orange in the water. I noticed them in all the waters on the tables. Since I always include a lemon in my water, I didn't mind an orange. Something different. My dining partner has been a regular to this place so he suggested that I first try out their regular pho. I must say.... my tummy was very happy with that choice. Can't believe I haven't wrote a review for this place yet. First, let's just say that if you are expecting great service, don't come here. It's more of a "come, order, eat, pay, and leave place." However, the food is the closest thing you will come to authentic Vietnamese food in Gwinnett county. It isn't too costly and is delicious at the same time. I usually get the extra large "I LUV PHO" which is basically their pho, with a bunch of things in it (like meatballs, filet mignon, flank, etc). They seemed to be skimpy with the meatballs even for a large bowl of pho. What I don't understand is why they have small, large, and x-large bowls of pho. What ever happened to medium?! But I noticed that the soup was a little oily (I suspect they put oil on the noodles so they don't stick together too much). Found this spot after moving to Tucker. Been there several times now and, overall, pretty terrific pho! All the apps are good, best crab rangoon I've ever had. The Vietnamese-Style summer rolls with peanut sauce are always nomalicious too! One draw back (hence 4 stars rather than 5) to this place that stands out on every visit is the service. You'll feel a bit ignored, and getting a water refill is generally hit or miss.
