This is what came out. Beef was tiny.

I ordered Shaken Beef. And for sure what came out was not it. There was no lime and pepper for the dipping sauce. I know, it's a Pho restaurant. But I had pho for lunch earlier. I didn't want to get it again. So I went with the Shaken Beef. And boy was that a mistake. I haven't tried the pho here. But if it's anything like their Shaken Beef. I wouldn't even bother. Service was great and staff was friendly

I tried two entrees from pho you via Uber Eats pickup and I must say it was decent but I was disappointed. The atmosphere was great but only half of my food tasted amazing. I would say that I am particular about my pho since I've grew up on this. The pho was not great and in fact the meat they gave me did not dissolve or heat up in the soup. I don't know if this entree is served raw or what, but I know this one didn't have pictures but Uber said they would offer Uber cash for an entree picture. The other entree i ordered was rice vermicelli with pork and that was fire especially with the include egg rolls.

Note: It's now 'Pho You' I was told about this place by my son. He wanted to meet up and have us check out this place since hubby is a big Pho fan and I love the coffee and boba as well. I was happy we went because everything we ordered we enjoyed 100%. We had their sparkling strawberry drink, special appetizers with spring rolls & egg rolls, grilled beef bao buns & Pho. The beef broth was delicious and they put a good amount of meat in the Pho. The beef in buns were so flavorful along with the egg rolls. Egg rolls were probably my favorite but everyone enjoyed their meL and drinks. The service is fast and friendly and sometimes a robot machine will deliver it to your table. Its not a big place but they have seating and they get your order fresh and with a smile. I definitely recommend this place. I'll be going back to try more items on the menu.

Dropped into this restaurant while visiting Kyle, TX, and it was a decent spot for Asian cuisine. Nothing mind blowing, but pretty standard goods and decent pho. Inexpensive, large menu with good variety to accommodate all types of visitors, casual and quick service. We ordered a few appetizers (crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, pork spring rolls, chicken bao), a stir fried noodle dish with meat, and 2 bowls of pho (the special and beef meatball). Food was quick, but came out in a weird order. The stir fry dish came out first, then everything else followed. They use robots for delivery, which is cool but not perfect, so you still have a server. The boba was a total no-go, but I typically avoid ordering boba at restaurants and only get it from actual boba tea shops. I ordered a classic milk tea with boba and it was super sweet and there was barely any boba, and on top of that, it wasn't good boba. Overall it was a "just-okay" lunch spot. We opted to try it since everything else in the area was chain fast food, but I don't think I'd ever revisit.

My absolute favorite pho of all time! I come here often and get the same thing every time, chicken pho, because it's so rich and flavorful and I always know I'm going to get a great quality meal. The staff is so sweet and at this point they know my order when I sit down because of how often I go, lol! Love the robots, vibes, and food. I rave about this place to everyone because it's genuinely the best pho I've ever had.

Horrible experience. We found a hair on the appetizer after we ate it. I have told the waitress. Nothing happened. They even charged us for it. It would be appropriate a sorry and we dont charge you. 0 customer service and bad experience.

This is a very interesting little restaurant nestled near Walmart across from the Kyle Hospital. That is to say blink and you'll miss it from the road. After arriving you're greeted by an establishment that is a cross between the over the cashier head menu experience ala Panda Express but a nicer, sit-down establishment with décor that titillates the senses with Thai abundance. Ever the champion of experience, I enjoyed my meal there. Everything has its own little place, chop stix, Pho spoons, soy sauce, etc were neatly and cleaned displayed in a box on the table. The restaurant is clean and has a few TVs, although none were on. The back wall has a gray brick façade which is soothing with shelving holding up small decorative plans on them. It actually is a warm and welcoming environment although I was the only patron dining in with 4 customers getting to go orders from 11-11:30ish. All the furniture was clean and newish, which is to say, didn't have rips or broken down as if Frank Sinatra visited there in the 50s. I ordered an unsweeted tea and it was outstanding! I was expecting the standard tea but it had a hint of hibiscus in it? Something floral that set it apart from other Asian or... Thai restaurants. Very tasty. For an app I got the fried shrimp spring rolls and I was disappointed. I was thinking spring rolls that were fried, not one shrimp, wrapped in rice paper and fried. I mean it was good as was the dipping sauce but not what I was expecting. For lunch I opted for the rare steak w/ rice noodles which was outstanding. The broth was fragrant even before I put my herbs and citrus into the bowl. It was a very delicate broth and already had a hint of herbs. The meat was overcooked for me as I like to put my own meat in, but that's the way they do it as I even asked. The bean sprouts, lime, cilantro, thai basil, japs were all fresh and I could smell their perfumes before giving them in a beef broth bath! All the flavors married well together and the only complaint I have is all the noodles were stuck together, as if it was just thrown in the bowl topped with broth. They separated with my assistance.... I took home the "stir fried chicken, shrimp, and beef with rice thick noodle" and to my surprise it was extremely good! In fact and despite my strongest inclination to not eat them, I hate half of it for dinner. The noodles were perfect and a very light soy background to the dish. The meat was cooked perfectly, something difficult when beef and shrimp are in the same dish but overall a very tasty treat! I really enjoyed my visit at Pho 99. The food is the star and it shone brightly. Everything was fresh and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If you want good food I suggest you give this place a shot and see if you agree with me. I have a sneaky suspicion you'll love it too!

Good pho starts with good broth and Pho 99 gets it. We ordered well done brisket pho and grilled pork Banh Mi sandwiches. The soup was delivered to the table by robots and a staff member followed with our sandwiches. Everything was hot and delicious. The pho was aromatic and flavorful. The sandwich was on a large baguette with a perfectly crisp crust and soft middle, a good portion of tasty grilled pork, pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño and a bit of mayo. In addition to great food and the novelty of robot waiters, the atmosphere is fresh and pleasant. Great to find good Vietnamese food without dealing with traffic going into the city. We'll be regulars here!

First time here, won't be our last. Delicious lunch! So good to have a place like this in Kyle. We had the shrimp spring roll appetizers, which were the perfect combination of crunchy and fresh. For entrees, I had the tofu with thick noodles (#63) and my husband had the brisket pho. Both were incredible! They have the cute robot waiters, and also an attentive server. Very clean place, very fresh food

No idea what is in the photo cause it's not what ordered . Twice now i have ordered Korean ribs and i get something else instead. It's not like this place is crowded. It's always slow in there. What's so hard about reading and getting order correct? So aggravating cause their food is ok. But the workers are incompetent

    Thea R.

A casual Pho place in Kyle! When we feel like having Pho nearby we check out Pho 99. They have cute robots that deliver your food and a yummy menu. The service was sufficient...considering it was busy when we went for dinner. Their restaurant is clean but they could work on wiping down the tables better after each patron. Overall we will keep coming back.

We also got thai basil chicken wings and clearly they use the same batter for everything as I had a piece of shrimp fried into the batter. This grossed my fiance out and he didn't eat anymore after my shrimp discovery. I still ate them and they were okay and i liked the flavor but under the fried batter the chicken skin was gooey. The restaurant was clean and had a very authentic feel. The star of the meal was the flavorful Pho broth. The broth was rich and comforting without being overly salty. The Pho comes with 2 beef ribs that were tender, meaty, however lacked a bit of flavor. The noodles did not appear to be homemade, but held up well, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and accompaniments helped round out the dish. I could have used a few more fresh herbs like basil on the side. The portion size was generous, very satisfying and made for a comforting meal. I was able to eat it over 2 occasions. After landing in San Antonio yesterday to kick off my summer vacation, the very first thing I did…read moretoday was ask my friend to bring me back to this restaurant. The reason is simple: we ate here two years ago, and it left such a great impression on us that we had been looking forward to coming back ever since. Fortunately, not much has changed in terms of either the quality or the overall presentation of the food. Everything is still delicious, especially the Pho Combo. To be honest, it's far better than most of the pho we've had in Germany. That doesn't mean the pho in Germany is bad--it simply means this place matches my personal taste much better. As for the downsides, they're almost exactly the same as before. Parking is still a major challenge, and I understand that's probably not something the restaurant can easily fix. We also tried calling ahead to reserve a table, but they don't take reservations, whether you're coming with a group of 5-7 people or just 2-3 people. We arrived at 6:45 PM and still had to wait about 40 minutes before being seated, which was honestly quite inconvenient. Coincidentally, there was live music tonight, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the sound system wasn't very good, so it was difficult to hear what the singers were performing. Then again, this isn't really the type of venue where people come specifically to enjoy live music, so most diners didn't seem to pay much attention to it. One thing I did notice was that either the kitchen has made a few changes over the past two years, or perhaps my own taste has changed a little. The food felt slightly saltier than I remembered, and the pho broth was richer and creamier. While that added some depth of flavor, it was a bit too rich for my liking, to the point where finishing the entire bowl of broth felt a little overwhelming. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender--so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary, and they could easily be pulled apart with just a fork. While many people would probably see that as a positive, I actually missed the slightly firmer, meatier texture I remembered from my last visit. That said, these are relatively minor issues. The quality may have dipped just a little compared to our previous visit, but this is still an excellent restaurant. If they can fine-tune those small details, it would easily return to being one of my favorite places. There's a good chance we'll stop by one more time before heading back to Germany.

Is it that time of year for another 1618 update? Absolutely…read more After my umpteenth visit, I think it's safe to say I've worked my way through almost the entire menu (minus a few noodle, chicken & vegetarian dishes). My 2025 review still stands, but after so many visits, I've noticed a few items haven't been good as they used to, particularly the chicken wings (and yes, all three of them). The Garlic Wings haven't been hitting quite the same. They've started to taste a little dry, and the saucier wings taste better the next day since they don't have time to steep through once served. The Filet Mignon Pepper Steak is still my favorite dish on the menu, but I still can't justify ordering it family-style anymore. It's delicious, but the portion just doesn't match the price. One of the newest additions--the Truffle Fried Rice is spectacular. It's light, not overpowering with truffle, and the fish eggs really adds the perfect little pop of texture/flavor. I don't think I breathed the entire time I scarfed it down!! 1618 is still one of my favorite restaurants in Austin of all time, but I think it's time for the menu to elevate a bit and dive deeper into less mainstream Asian cuisine. If anyone can do it, 1618 can.

I had no idea it was even here and I LOVE PHO. I've been under the weather with horrible allergies and I was craving a great bowl of Pho Soup, so I finally Googled "Pho in Westlake, and Lee's came up. So I called up, ordered and drove over. The ambiance is super cute and clean. THIS SOUP BLEW MY MIND!!! This soup blew anything out of the water that I have tasted in Vietnam. Healthy and hardy portion. We started off with the spring rolls. These were the freshest Spring rolls I have ever tasted, and the sauce was incredible. Then we moved onto the 1 Beef Pho and 1 Vegetable Pho that we ordered. I put some beef in the Vegetable Pho, and it tasted phenomenal. As well, I wanted to add that I don't even like tofu, but the tofu that was in the soup was so fresh and spongy. Nothing like you've ever tasted, in a fabulous, unexpected but tasty way. THE BEEF BROTH WAS AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE!!! MY NEW GO TO PHO PLACE!!! Shout out to Brittany and your take out crew/staff........for being Extremely hospitable and inviting. ONLY SUGGESTION-I've been in marketing & sales, the restaurant industry, and the hospitality industry for over 32 YEARS. Now I'm in Corporate Real Estate. I've travelled the whole world and what I am telling you is that YOU HAVE THE BEST PHO SOUP I'VE EVER TASTED.......AND I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE EVEN THERE!!! (and I've been in Westlake for 10 years, and I drive into that parking lot, minimally 3 times a day, for one reason or another). Why is this? How come I didn't know you were there?......Besides the fact that I never googled "Pho Westlake". I'll tell you why......from my experience and expertise, it because of your signage and name. With the name "Lee's Kitchen and Cocktails", I thought you were just another Chinese restaurant, and were loyalists to Chinatown Westlake. Which leads me back to how can we fix this, and generate you more business?! I'll tell you how you do it....I like your name, but I would have your signage company make a BIG black and white, LARGE sign in Italic, that says "PHO". Then have a bowl of soup with chopsticks coming out of it. But minimally a LARGE "PHO" in writing. I'd place it to the right of LEE'S Kitchen and Cocktails. That way every one will know what you serve, when they look at your name. Then I would go on all your social media platforms and ADD "PHO" to your name. Either LEE'S PHO-Kitchen + Cocktails, or something to that effect. LEE'S Kitchen + Cocktails-PHO. Had I seen this on the wall for the last 10 years, 3 times a day, I WOULD HAVE STOPPED, COME IN, AND BEEN YOUR CUSTOMER FOR THE LAST 2 PLUS YEARS. Please take my suggestion to heart and I can't wait to see your business thrive, even more than it already is. With love, Joanne and family

I've been…read morecoming here occasionally the past few years (before and after their renovation) and leave satisfied every time. I uploaded their recent menu items as they have a new staff and are still in the process of training them to serve their whole menu again. My personal favorites that I get on rotation each time I come are the Banh Cuon w/ Pork (Vietnamese Rice Cake), Large Banh Xeo (w/ no squid), and Com Ga Di Bo (Rice Plate w/ Boiled Chicken). I always order a side of Goi Cuon Nem Nuong with my respective entree as well. The Sugar Cane Juice is absolutely delicious, fresh, and not too sweet. The service here is always friendly, attentive, and timely. Nice relaxing atmosphere with television and restaurant music for your dining experience. Definitely recommend for all my fellow Vietnamese food lovers!

I ordered their pho with meatball and 2 orders of their beef on the side. Their pho only has one size which I assume is their large, cuz it's huge! It comes with 3 meats of your choosing. I thought I ate a ton, but when I was close to full, it looked like I didn't eat any at all. My husband ordered their B1 grilled pork and fried eggroll vermicelli bowl. Safe to say, this place has texas sized portions! We will definitely be back cuz I always crave pho when it's rainy season. There were only 2 servers who were constantly running around, due to a large party; but they were very attentive. Lots of seating, pretty spacious restaurant!
