    35. Special Combination Rice Vermicelli
    Stephanie C.

A dependable and casual spot in Kyle if you're looking for a wide range of Asian dishes under one roof. I've been here multiple times and tried quite a bit off the menu: baos, bánh mì, bun bo hue, vermicelli, lo mein, pad thai, General Tso's, and rice plates. Everything has been typically solid, though nothing particularly standout. The flavors overall are a bit on the mild side, especially in the soups and meats, but the variety makes it a good choice if you're dining with a group or just want a casual, no-frills meal. It's kind of a "jack of all trades" menu with Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese options. One thing I do appreciate: they're very accommodating with substitutions and custom orders, and the service is always friendly. It can run a bit slow if the place is busy, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, not a destination spot, but a good local option when you want something convenient, comforting, and customizable.

This is what came out. Beef was tiny.

I ordered Shaken Beef. And for sure what came out was not it. There was no lime and pepper for the dipping sauce. I know, it's a Pho restaurant. But I had pho for lunch earlier. I didn't want to get it again. So I went with the Shaken Beef. And boy was that a mistake. I haven't tried the pho here. But if it's anything like their Shaken Beef. I wouldn't even bother. Service was great and staff was friendly

I tried two entrees from pho you via Uber Eats pickup and I must say it was decent but I was disappointed. The atmosphere was great but only half of my food tasted amazing. I would say that I am particular about my pho since I've grew up on this. The pho was not great and in fact the meat they gave me did not dissolve or heat up in the soup. I don't know if this entree is served raw or what, but I know this one didn't have pictures but Uber said they would offer Uber cash for an entree picture. The other entree i ordered was rice vermicelli with pork and that was fire especially with the include egg rolls.

Note: It's now 'Pho You' I was told about this place by my son. He wanted to meet up and have us check out this place since hubby is a big Pho fan and I love the coffee and boba as well. I was happy we went because everything we ordered we enjoyed 100%. We had their sparkling strawberry drink, special appetizers with spring rolls & egg rolls, grilled beef bao buns & Pho. The beef broth was delicious and they put a good amount of meat in the Pho. The beef in buns were so flavorful along with the egg rolls. Egg rolls were probably my favorite but everyone enjoyed their meL and drinks. The service is fast and friendly and sometimes a robot machine will deliver it to your table. Its not a big place but they have seating and they get your order fresh and with a smile. I definitely recommend this place. I'll be going back to try more items on the menu.

Dropped into this restaurant while visiting Kyle, TX, and it was a decent spot for Asian cuisine. Nothing mind blowing, but pretty standard goods and decent pho. Inexpensive, large menu with good variety to accommodate all types of visitors, casual and quick service. We ordered a few appetizers (crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, pork spring rolls, chicken bao), a stir fried noodle dish with meat, and 2 bowls of pho (the special and beef meatball). Food was quick, but came out in a weird order. The stir fry dish came out first, then everything else followed. They use robots for delivery, which is cool but not perfect, so you still have a server. The boba was a total no-go, but I typically avoid ordering boba at restaurants and only get it from actual boba tea shops. I ordered a classic milk tea with boba and it was super sweet and there was barely any boba, and on top of that, it wasn't good boba. Overall it was a "just-okay" lunch spot. We opted to try it since everything else in the area was chain fast food, but I don't think I'd ever revisit.

My absolute favorite pho of all time! I come here often and get the same thing every time, chicken pho, because it's so rich and flavorful and I always know I'm going to get a great quality meal. The staff is so sweet and at this point they know my order when I sit down because of how often I go, lol! Love the robots, vibes, and food. I rave about this place to everyone because it's genuinely the best pho I've ever had.

Horrible experience. We found a hair on the appetizer after we ate it. I have told the waitress. Nothing happened. They even charged us for it. It would be appropriate a sorry and we dont charge you. 0 customer service and bad experience.

This is a very interesting little restaurant nestled near Walmart across from the Kyle Hospital. That is to say blink and you'll miss it from the road. After arriving you're greeted by an establishment that is a cross between the over the cashier head menu experience ala Panda Express but a nicer, sit-down establishment with décor that titillates the senses with Thai abundance. Ever the champion of experience, I enjoyed my meal there. Everything has its own little place, chop stix, Pho spoons, soy sauce, etc were neatly and cleaned displayed in a box on the table. The restaurant is clean and has a few TVs, although none were on. The back wall has a gray brick façade which is soothing with shelving holding up small decorative plans on them. It actually is a warm and welcoming environment although I was the only patron dining in with 4 customers getting to go orders from 11-11:30ish. All the furniture was clean and newish, which is to say, didn't have rips or broken down as if Frank Sinatra visited there in the 50s. I ordered an unsweeted tea and it was outstanding! I was expecting the standard tea but it had a hint of hibiscus in it? Something floral that set it apart from other Asian or... Thai restaurants. Very tasty. For an app I got the fried shrimp spring rolls and I was disappointed. I was thinking spring rolls that were fried, not one shrimp, wrapped in rice paper and fried. I mean it was good as was the dipping sauce but not what I was expecting. For lunch I opted for the rare steak w/ rice noodles which was outstanding. The broth was fragrant even before I put my herbs and citrus into the bowl. It was a very delicate broth and already had a hint of herbs. The meat was overcooked for me as I like to put my own meat in, but that's the way they do it as I even asked. The bean sprouts, lime, cilantro, thai basil, japs were all fresh and I could smell their perfumes before giving them in a beef broth bath! All the flavors married well together and the only complaint I have is all the noodles were stuck together, as if it was just thrown in the bowl topped with broth. They separated with my assistance.... I took home the "stir fried chicken, shrimp, and beef with rice thick noodle" and to my surprise it was extremely good! In fact and despite my strongest inclination to not eat them, I hate half of it for dinner. The noodles were perfect and a very light soy background to the dish. The meat was cooked perfectly, something difficult when beef and shrimp are in the same dish but overall a very tasty treat! I really enjoyed my visit at Pho 99. The food is the star and it shone brightly. Everything was fresh and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If you want good food I suggest you give this place a shot and see if you agree with me. I have a sneaky suspicion you'll love it too!

Good pho starts with good broth and Pho 99 gets it. We ordered well done brisket pho and grilled pork Banh Mi sandwiches. The soup was delivered to the table by robots and a staff member followed with our sandwiches. Everything was hot and delicious. The pho was aromatic and flavorful. The sandwich was on a large baguette with a perfectly crisp crust and soft middle, a good portion of tasty grilled pork, pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño and a bit of mayo. In addition to great food and the novelty of robot waiters, the atmosphere is fresh and pleasant. Great to find good Vietnamese food without dealing with traffic going into the city. We'll be regulars here!

First time here, won't be our last. Delicious lunch! So good to have a place like this in Kyle. We had the shrimp spring roll appetizers, which were the perfect combination of crunchy and fresh. For entrees, I had the tofu with thick noodles (#63) and my husband had the brisket pho. Both were incredible! They have the cute robot waiters, and also an attentive server. Very clean place, very fresh food

No idea what is in the photo cause it's not what ordered . Twice now i have ordered Korean ribs and i get something else instead. It's not like this place is crowded. It's always slow in there. What's so hard about reading and getting order correct? So aggravating cause their food is ok. But the workers are incompetent

It took me a bit to find it as I'm directionally challenged, but I did and was just running a bit late. We really enjoyed the food and cocktails. I got the Singaporean noodles, a mezcal drink, and a sake. The serving size was big so I had plenty to take home. We shared many of the other dumplings and dim sum items. Everything was very good! The place wasn't too crowded so after we paid our bill we sat around for a while longer to chat and catch up. Usually someone would come by to see if we needed or wanted anything further, but no one did so we kept chatting and left. I'm happy to know of a central location with easy parking as a future place to meet people. I wish they had a happy hour because the bill for 3 of us was unexpectedly higher than usual.
