I am college educated witb a Masters in Art teaching and a BFA. So it's extremely humiliating to deal with a woman who knows from the moment you walk in that she's not cashing your check. Each time I have a check for 5k from a accident loan office and each time they have come up with another excuse for having me walk all the way there just to tell me come back on Monday when they can Baruch the check, thinking it's fraud and I wouldn't come back. Only to look me in my face and make up some 1960 banking excuse. Let's be clear I worked for Wachovia in college and I know that every check can be verified they didn't even call. I emailed the CONTRACT from the loan company letting the lady know they can contact the company directly and even call my Lawyer. The woman was extremely condescending and uneducated, she said "oh he must be a nice lawyer to loan you money like this" not comprehending that it was through a loan company and this is regular practice for high value cases. I am in the process of filling a complaint with ICE cause she nearly speaks English and she has the worst racist attitude she treats every word like your lie'n to her, and somehow at 6% they turn down $300 to cash a check.
