Used Bingham Restoration during an emergency situation. Unfortunately, our experience became…read moreextremely stressful once billing started. We signed an emergency mitigation work authorization so drying equipment and mitigation could begin immediately, but we were never provided with a meaningful estimate or projected cost range beforehand. At the time, we were assured that the insurance company would take care of everything, that Bingham worked directly with insurance carriers regularly, and they even offered to help us initiate the insurance claim process. As homeowners dealing with an emergency water loss, we relied heavily on those representations and trusted that the billing would be handled reasonably and professionally through the insurance process. What followed were dramatically inflated and constantly changing invoice amounts, aggressive collection tactics, and repeated demands for charges that were disputed as excessive and five times outside reasonable industry standards. The insurance company ultimately obtained an independent third-party peer review and comparative mitigation estimate which supported a significantly lower reasonable value than the amounts being demanded. Despite this, we continued receiving demands for thousands more along with collection and lien threats. Our issue was never with the actual mitigation work performed or the quality of the work itself. The issue was the reasonableness, consistency, and transparency of the billing practices, along with the pressure placed on homeowners during an already stressful insurance claim. I strongly encourage anyone using this mitigation company to request detailed pricing information in writing upfront and to carefully review all documents before signing anything during an emergency situation. By reading reviews now, I see many people have had similar experiences.

**IF YOU WANT A CONTRACTOR- STAY AWAY FROM BINGHAM**…read more Where do I even start. After a water leak in my home, my insurance company dispatched Bingham Restoration for mitigation. Seemed fine at first--they showed up quickly, set up fans and dehumidifiers, and assured me everything would be handled through insurance. No estimate provided. No quote. Just "sign here, we'll work it out with your carrier." First red flag I ignored. **The Invoice Shock** When the invoice finally came? Over $9,000. For water mitigation. My insurance adjuster reviewed it and determined the work was worth around $4,600--roughly HALF of what Bingham billed. The adjuster spent weeks--WEEKS--asking Bingham for a simple line-item breakdown and photos to justify the extra charges. Their response? Crickets. My adjuster literally texted me: "Until they give me photos and explanations of what they are requesting, I can't do much." **The Threatening Emails** Once I pushed back, the billing department got aggressive. "Pay by end of day or we rescind all discounts." "This will go to our legal department." They threatened to put a LIEN on my house--except their lien rights had already expired under Washington state law. So they threatened me with something they legally couldn't even do. Classic intimidation tactic. **Accused ME of Fraud** Here's the kicker. I paid exactly what my insurance approved--sent a cashier's check for $4,602.95 with a letter stating it was payment in full per insurance determination. Their response? An email accusing me of "insurance fraud" and "trying to make money off an insurance claim." I paid every dollar my insurance said the work was worth, and somehow I'M the fraudster? The audacity. **Then Came Collections** After they CASHED my check, I got a call from a debt collector demanding $4,800. That number doesn't match their original invoice ($9,232), doesn't match their "discounted" amount ($7,900), doesn't match ANYTHING. It's like they just make up numbers. **Communication? What Communication?** Getting someone on the phone was nearly impossible. Their billing manager promised to call back--never did. When I finally got through, I was told different amounts by different people. The invoice amount changed at least three times. No consistency, no accountability, just threats and demands. **The Bottom Line** The actual mitigation work we had to get done through someone else. But dealing with this company's billing practices has been an absolute nightmare that's dragged on for months. They prey on the fact that you're stressed from water damage and just want it handled. They'll tell you whatever you want to hear to get equipment in your door, then bill your insurance for as much as possible--and come after YOU when the insurance company pushes back. Even if you're paying through insurance, get EVERYTHING in writing BEFORE they start work. Get a detailed estimate with line items. Don't make my mistake. Save yourself the headache. There are plenty of restoration companies out there that won't threaten you, accuse you of fraud, or send you to collections after cashing your check.

My husband and I recently bought our first home, and while trying to complete some minor upgrades, we discovered mold. We immediately panicked, assuming the absolute worst. After reading their excellent reviews, I decided to give them a call--and I am so glad I did. Everyone who came out to our house was incredible, friendly, and deeply professional. They made an incredibly stressful situation completely painless, and they treated our home as if it were their own. One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Thank you to Josh and the entire team for making a difficult situation so much easier!

What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. Highly recommend this company for their professionalism, flexibility and high standards. Thanks to the ATH Team!

When I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for a sewer line break under my manufactured home, they contacted Mike Tedder who immediately called me to make an appointment to assess the damage. He discovered that not only was shoddy repair work done by the plumber I originally hired, he also diagnosed a second sewer line break that the previous plumber charged me for but did not detect/repair. The break was not recent; consequently, there was ample evidence of the break that the original plumber should have detected. Additionally, there was water damage to the sub-floor in the first bathroom. Had Mike not found this and corrected it I would have had a much larger problem!
