I'm giving 2 strs because the flowers were delivered quickly. I ordered the "designers choice" arrangement because its winter and some blooms are hard to find right now. I naively assumed that there would be at least one or two "premium floral" stems as the arraignment is advertised to have the "best flowers available". The arrangement that was delivered was a complete embarrassment. As generic and cheap looking as a 10$ arrangement from any grocery store. I would not recommend using Phoenix Flowershops if you want a beautiful creative bouquet, you be left feeling cheated and disappointed. I've had three different flower arrangements sent through Phoenix Flower Shops recently -- one for a friend after she had surgery, one for another friend's birthday, and a holiday arrangement for my mother. All three arrangements were not only beautiful, but they also lasted a really long time. Placing my order over the phone was easy, and the woman who took my orders each time was very nice (and helpful!). And all three arrangements were delivered without any hiccups whatsoever. I used a different florist here in the Valley for Mother's Day last year and was sorely disappointed. Granted, Mother's Day is the busiest time of the year for flower shops, and I did place my order sort of late, but when the flowers arrived, several were broken -- and they were quite noticeable. The owner of the business gave me a credit toward a future purchase, but after using Phoenix Flower Shops and having such a stellar experience with them, I won't be using anyone else I highly recommend Phoenix Flower Shops! read more

I found this place from Yelp, so I feel like I should write a review of it. In the past I've bought from 1800 Flowers.com and FTD.com, and didn't see very good value for my money. It seems as though there's a base price, plus delivery, plus special delivery, plus tax; and I end up getting half a dozen flowers in an ornate vase for $73.95. This Mother's Day, I thought, if I'm going to pay a lot, why not patronize a local business directly rather than buying online. To make a long story short, there were about 15 people working in the back when I walked in, even though it's t-minus 48 hours until the holiday. The woman who assisted me wasn't rude, but wasn't especially cordial either. I asked for Tulips, and she was good enough to begin putting them together right away rather than making me come back in an hour, as she initially asked. I said I had $40 to spend, and she went to work. 10 minutes later, she placed my arrangement on the desk and walked away. As the other associate was ringing me up, she muttered, "Thank you for shopping at Frys." I didn't know what to make of this comment except that she thought I was devaluing the work she did by walking in and asking for immediate help rather than calling in an order or buying online. That the employees at Phoenix Flower Shops are superior to those at my local Frys, and that I had somehow treated her like one of them. It takes me two hours working in a call center to earn $43, and I didn't feel like this store valued my business. Also I don't think I got a very good value for my money, but you can decide for yourself based on the picture below. read more

I received flowers for my birthday, sent a picture of them to my sister who sent them to me. She was shocked that they weren't at all what she had ordered. Not one yellow or white rose. All daisey and mums. It was still very pretty. After calling the shop, they explained that because teleflora had given her a discount, they didn't include the premium flowers she had ordered because of her discounted pricing. They refused to make it right, offer anything else and the manager basically said too bad, take it up with teleflora. So much for a 100% guarantee. I'll never use this florist, regardless of a 60 year old business in the valley. Not nice people at the 19th Ave location. My advice go somewhere else. Plenty of nice people that are willing to stand by their guarantee. read more

Everything was perfect: the delivery was right on time, the delivery person texted when she was on her way, there was good social distancing at delivery and she wore a mask, and the flowers are absolutely beautiful and fresh. I would recommend this place to everyone i know who needs flowers. when i got the corsage it was beautiful, but all the flowers fell off of it with minimum hassle of the corsage itself. I ordered a Thanksgiving basket bouquet for a family that was kind enough to invite us to dinner. I asked it to be delivered the day before on a Wednesday. I understood i would receive an email that it was delivered. On Wednesday i had to call them to find out if it was delivered. I asked why no email with no excuse. Beautiful arrangement for a 95 year old dear friend! Much more than I anticipated!! I had ordered an arrangement a few months ago by phone at a general phone number and was quite disappointed as the vase was very small and although I had specified bright and cheery for my mom, they were quite plain and unremarkable for what I paid ($75). These on the other hand were outstanding!! ($68 including delivery). I went into the actual location at 19th and Union Hills but they used a location in Mesa where dear friend lives. I had ordered the beyond blue they had white and blue flowers with a very nice blue glass vase what was delivered had a very basic clear glass vase and was ugly.
