Good business: quick service, appeared to be quite honest, and pricing seemed okay. My fiance ended up breaking her charger off into her iPad mini. The Apple store told her there was nothing she could do and that she would have to buy another one. Knowing this was ridiculous she asked me to take a look at it. After failing at all the online tips, I decided to seek professional help. I first called uBreakiFix on Camelback and they seemed helpful so I drove over there. They told me if they could get it out it would be only around $15, but that they wouldn't take it apart because they didn't have the right tool to do the soldering needed to replace the charging point (which is strange because they have this service listed on their website for $90). I drove down, they took a look, and said they couldn't help or get it out. Phoenix iPhone Repairs is up the street so I headed there. They informed me they could probably get it out for $50, and that if they had to take it apart to change out the charging port, they would do it for the $120 listed on the website. 3 hours later they had the charger tip out for the $50 and no additional work was needed. They did not try to up-sell on the whole charger replacement, and did not force me to open the iPad and void my warranty for more revenue. Stay away from this business. Went in for a simple screen replacement since I dropped my phone and they say they fixed it but ened up going back 7 more times because they lack the knowledge to fix a phone properly. Ended up going to a different business and they fixed it for half the price and with in a hour. Went back to get my money back from and they won't issue me a refund because they say they can't refund me without their parts they put in my phone given back to them. Well that just sucked... I originally went to them over summer of last year for Apple Watch repair, went a few months ago to have the glass glued back on and then the guy behind the counter said he'd cover it because the repair was his mistake (?), fine no charge. Today I call this morning to what I thought was the guy from before at this location. I asked if it was still under warranty... was told yeah, bring it on by--I asked him about which location since I've been to both. I told him I'd be there before they closed. I show up and I see the same guy I always see there and he was quick to say he didn't see me in their records and that it would NOT be covered and just the $150 charge again. I declined. Only loss is the gas to drive there. I mentioned my call from earlier today and he said I was probably talking to the owner and not him. The point being: the owner said there would be no charge for the service, told me to go there, then the person at said service location said no... Overall great experience and this seems like a super trustworthy place. Hate to admit it but I took a broken iPad and two broken iPad minis (I have a six year old boy and I made the costly mistake of not buying a good case) to them and within a few hours all three were as good as new. I wanted to let others know my personal experience and encourage the consumer to research. The employee was having an intense conversation outside of the business when i arrived. Het set the phone on top of his car and went inside. He was short with me and not very personable, Whatever I need my iPad fixed... After a few questions I left. It was done by the end of the day and the glass didn't feel like it was installed correctly which I realized after I got home. The home button wasn't flush and was sunken in. My husband took it back twice to have it repaired. It is not authorized apple glass so maybe thats the problem but after the 3rd repair it fit correctly but the home button was still not flush. Whatever, we are on lockdown and Im tired of this back and forth....after a few days i noticed a small crack and now it has been chunks of glass falling out and will not get past a pixelated home screen. I absolutely recommend doing research and taking your expensive items to an authorized repair center. read more

My screen has been cracked on my iPhone 5S for more than a minute and I just didn't have any addt'l $$ until this weekend. I looked online and these guys were close, told me $75 and 15 minutes over the phone and they weren't the big, scary Apple Store that always intimidates the hell outta me I got there around 5:15 and the wonderful young man (whose name I did not catch but he knows he's my hero...cause I told him ) that helped me completed the repair in just under the amount of time it takes me to get a little ADD distracted and charged me $75, just like the phone quote was. There's a Starbucks in that same strip mall which is convenient if you have a tablet or another mobile device... I tried to save myself a little cash and attempted to replace my iPhone screen on my own... big mistake. Not only did my screen stop working, but so did my entire phone! Naturally, my phone broke just as I was about to leave town and I needed it fixed ASAP, so I hurried over to Phoenix iPhone repairs as soon as they opened. The gentleman that helped me was great! He took my phone apart, put it back together, and got it working again! Unfortunately I did some irreversible damage when trying to do the repairs on my own but he did what he could to get it up and running (at least enough to get me through my vacation... Uber, boarding pass, etc). He spent about an hour running different tests on my phone and in the end he didn't even charge me for it because he felt like he "didn't fix it." For all intents and purposes, my phone is working great... at least enough to get me where I need to go for the next few days. DO NOT COME HERE. Brought cracked screen on my 7 a couple years ago, no issues. Came back last Sunday for the same service and I'm dumbfounded by the low tier customer service. The workmanship was AWFUL. The glue on the screen started to come apart the second I walked out and now it's almost completely off. STAY AWAY!!! I took my iPad in for a simple screen repair and ended up with a nonfunctional device. To make a long story short, as part of the repair, they broke my home button and apparently did not know that you cannot just put a new one on there and still have a functioning device due to the synchronization between the button and the device. They did offer to get me a refurbished device as long as I gave them the device they broke (so they could "use it"- I.e., sell it to another unsuspecting customer). No thanks. My biggest concern was the cavalier attitude they had about the whole thing - no apologies, acknowledging there "might" be an issue "or so you say..." even though they admit "they may have heard that somewhere but had never actually seen it." I took it to them in the first place because of the positive Yelp reviews- learned my lesson for sure. As is mentioned in another review, perhaps for simple repairs they are fine, but if anything goes wrong, these people do not know what they're doing and you could end up like me without a functional device. UPDATE: When I explained the home button issue to this business, they expressed skepticism. Unfortunately my toddler decided to throw my iPhone 5S into a sink full of water. It was completely submerged for at least 5-10 minutes. I truly thought it was probably done for good, but I decided to give this place a shot since it recently opened down the street from my house. The guy who helped me was friendly, knowledgable, & kept me updated each step of the way. He was really upfront about the costs which were reasonable in my opinion. He was able to run it through a special machine that they have that gets the phone really dry which seemed to solve the issue. Apparently they specialize in water damage. So I am a happy customer with an iPhone 5S that works just fine again & it didn't make too bad of a dent in my wallet either! ;-) I highly recommend you bring your iPad, iPhone, etc. here for repairs. read more

I am thrilled I found this shop and it is in my neighborhood! I've never needed a service like this in all the years of owning cell phones and I was around when the first ones came out. Been there 2x in the past 2 months. Cracked iPhone 5c screen - fixed in 10 minutes at a price much less than the others I called. A few weeks ago they replaced the battery which was running out quickly. They did give me a disclaimer that they wouldn't know for sure it that was the problem but saved the old battery in case I wanted to send it back. It definitely helped! The staff is friendly and professional and honest. I was very surprised to see the one negative review this week. Maybe there was just a miscommunication or expectations were not set. Brought my iPod touch 5th generation in a couple weeks ago to have the battery replaced as it would go into the red (20%) then die pretty soon after unplugging it from a charger. These guys took care of it and I was able to pick it up the next day. I supplied my own battery and after using the Yelp deal for $10 off, my total charge was $45.
