Touch ID sensor not working on my replacement iPad

They ultimately replaced my iPad with a functional one, been using it about a month and it has worked well. They also refunded me for the issues. Not the best experience, but in the end they did what they could and for that I have updated the review to 2.5 stars, which yelp can't do so it shows up as 3.

Scratches under the glass that weren't there before the replacement

I had my girlfriend's iPhone 14 Pro Max's back screen replaced after being shattered but still intact under the case. The employee replaced the back screen and we bought a new case after being told it was a strong case that would likely keep the phone from breaking again. We noticed upon getting home there were a few bubbles and small scratches under the new back glass. After just a few days after dropping the phone from maybe 2 feet due to the plastic of the new case being very slick almost slippery material the back glass shattered again much worse than the initial break(chunks of glass falling off phone). We brought the phone back hoping to have the new broken glass replaced after explaining the bubbles/scratches/ and how horrible the new case was. He offered a $20 discount after admitting he scratched the phone and me explaining the air bubbles that were left under the glass. I feel more should have been done since the replacement job was obviously botched in the first place.

Was skyping and suddenly my iPhone 4s screen started doing the blue / black stripes of death. After 3 years, the screen (lcd display / digitizer) died. Sixty minutes and $70 later -- my display has been replaced and everything is working again. Much cheaper than the iStore ... and I didn't have to deal with waiting at the Genius Bar. read more

My iPad Air screen was completely smashed, so I researched screen repairs. Needless to say, it was very expensive to repair. I stumbled upon this shop on the internet, I read up on them and they appeared to be a legitimate business. Eventhough I was nervous to ship out my iPad, I shipped it to them (insurance and signature confirmation). They received it on a Friday, and I got it back the next Friday. BEWARE their warranty is worthless. Less than two weeks after they replace the glass on my iPad, the glass lifted off the frame causing it the glass to crack and break. Pieces of glass actually fell out of the sides of my iPad. When I brought it back, I was told that the warranty did not cover cracks! After talking with the owner, he told me they would replace the glass, but I would have to pay another $25 for the new piece of glass! It is absurd to suggest that glass which cracked because of faulty workmanship on their part would not be covered under their warranty. My iPad is now in worse shape than it was before I had the glass replaced. read more

I had been having trouble charging it my iPhone 6s. I figured I needed to replace the charging port. When I brought the device to the store, he looked at it, grabbed a little tool and cleaned some link out of the port. We In and out in two minutes! It now works great - and there was no charge. The most reasonably priced and best phone repair I have found in all of Phoenix. These guys are affordable and fast. They replaced a lock/power button and replaced the broken speaker on my iPhone and it works perfectly. I've been to several repair places before and this shop is not close to me, but this is the only place I'll go. read more

THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!!! After getting my phone wet and the microphone out, I took it to one place that said it would be $50 just to look at it and I'd likely have to leave it for a couple days, OR I could get a replacement thru insurance for a mere $235 and no more insurance one year since I had gotten another one within the year. This place fixed it for $54 (a yelp 10% coupon) in about two hours. Nothing fancy but I like that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Located in Phoenix on Bethany Road, iPhone Repair fixed my iPad 2. I had the screen replaced at another repair shop and it continue to have problems. Really happy with the service and quality. I had a shattered iPhone 6 screen. I asked about available discounts and opted for the 10% off with yelp check in. They suggested tempered glass add on which I decided to get, but didn't feel any pressure on the upsale. Quoted a 40min wait, but the phone was returned to me in less than 10min. Total for new screen and glass add on was just under 100$ with 10% off. Would use again. read more

This place was great, my phone looked like it was dropped from a plane, and the screen sensor was broken, which prevented me from using the touch screen on my phone. Went 12 miles out of the way to go to this place and it was well worth it. They gave me good directions of how to get there via bus. They did a free diagnoses and had great customer service. They were able to fix my phone within a good time range and it works better than ever. read more

I have been to this store 3 times now and the owner is awesome! Will help you repair your apple products with regard to your budget. Sold me a screen for an Iphone 4s for $25 so I could repair it myself since I couldn't afford $80 to have him do it. I had him repair a screen on a 5c once and he did a great job. Recently, my daughter spilled soda on my babysitters MacBook Air. She took it to Apple and they wanted $755 to fix it! I picked it up from Apple (45 min wait time to pick up something they didn't even touch!) and took it to UBreakIfix who told me they would clean it for $99 and wouldn't charge me if they were unavle to get it to power on again. They called me 4 days later and said they had cleaned it and were unable to get it to power on again. I went and picked it up from them, and on a whim, stopped into IRepair just to get some information. Francisco spent time talking to me about the cleaning and what could possibly be wrong with the stupid thing. He told me that he would diagnose it for $50, and if they were unable to repair it, they would at least be able to figure out what chips were blown from the liquid damage and could refer me to a store that would be able to fix it. Apple wanted to just blatantly replace every component on it regardless of whether it was damaged or not. Francisco said that probably wouldn't be necessary and told me it would take 24-48 hours to diagnose it. He called me the very next day and told me he had it powered on and it was running fine!!!! He also told me that UBreakIfix had not cleaned it. It was covered in dry sticky soda. This company is really outstanding. Lowest price of firms referred to me by Yelp. They repaired the cracked screen on my Apple Watch. If I had relied solely on my internet searches about repairing Apple watches, I would have just thrown my watch in the trash and gone shopping for a new watch. This is absolutely not true. My repairs were done quickly and as promised. The owner and staff are great communicators and they follow thru with whatever they commit to do. I will take other repairs to them in the future. Overall fantastic customer service. I had 4 phones that needed to be repaired and all were taken care of in a matter of just 2 days. Super responsive and flexible. Fixed all my old iPhones will zero problems and all for a decent price. If you ever need an old iPhone repair this is the place to come. I found this place on the internet today and called them up. The guy said they would replace my iphone screen for $40. Way cheaper than any other place. I went down to the place and they had me in and out of the place in 20 min. top with my Iphone screen completely replaced. I highly recommend this place to anybody neading a phone repair. read more

My iPhone 7 screen was cracked. I made an appointment the night before and came in the next day. Got seen practically right away and the repair took about two hours. Saved probably $40 by not doing it at the Apple Store and got a free screen protector just by checking in! Nice, quick, painless. read more

They are super fast and very reasonable!! I tried to fix the iPhone screen myself and paid $75 for the kit and couldn't do it and after 2 hours said I was done. I took it here and paid $100 and 30 minutes later I had a brand new screen! read more
