The classes are led by fantastic people who are friendly and relatable, and are great at motivating and challenging you to try your hardest. The fun themes and playlists mean that the music always has something for everyone. And it's more than just a workout, it's a safe-space to just take some time out of the busy day/life and do something for yourself. 45 minutes in a dark room with fantastic music and no pressure than to be and do what you need at that time. In addition, the encouragement and positive vibes this place brings are a welcome spot in the day. Not only do the instructors cheer you on, the other members are also excited to root for you too. Regardless if your just starting on your fitness journey or just looking to change things up a bit, Hit Squad South has something for everyone. The cycle classes are a main draw, but the fitness classes are also some of my favorite times of the week. Everyone is very welcoming. They have many different class options and times. They also offer different package options. Don't be scared to try yoga, it's like a deep stretch for your body. There were several to choose from but I picked out Mindful Motion Yoga for 2 reasons: one, it was a convenient location for my sister, and two, because they had a beginners class on Friday evening, which was when we wanted to go. Our first class was free, always a bonus. Before we went, I called to make sure that the info on the website was up-to-date, and it was. The person on the phone was super friendly and helpful. As it turns out, I had been speaking to the owner, Terri. She's a gracious host and savvy business woman. We took a beginners / relaxation class with Christina and she was great. If I lived in Jacksonville I would definitely return.

Anna, Ryann, Heather Ann are at the top of my list mainly due to the type of classes I do. I could add all the other instructors to my list as well (I don't want to leave anyone out - so I will keep it general). Bella Vida offers a variety of different classes - so it should appeal to a mix of yogis. While Power Yoga is a favorite, I have also enjoyed so many other types of practices (Reggae, Yoga Nidra, Hatha, Yin). There are always other events, such as community pot lucks, full moon practices, workshops, etc. and it's a wonderful little community. I am so glad I discovered this place (thanks to Shannon and Ryann) and I look forward to every practice. Gentle yoga with Linda quickly became something I looked forward to every Monday and Friday. I met so many wonderful regulars that were welcoming and amazing to flow with and Linda is so kind and a great teacher. First, there were several men and secondly it was actually enjoyable. I didn't realize how much I needed the stretching that is part of the class. I look forward to scheduling my assessment to move forward with personal training. I have a partially torn rotator cuff that my Dr had recommended PT or personalized training like they offer here. Glenn's background as a physical therapist, and other trainers with decades of experience. This facilitates why coming to Pivot Pilates... I found an amazing place to address my individual needs. They are so welcoming and don't give off a snobby attitude if they haven't seen you in a little bit. Each of the rooms have a different class that plays every other hour for 24 hours. Between Hot Core, Hot Buns, Hot Yoga, Hot Warrior, and so many more, I never get bored. The FX weight area in the back is equipped with plenty of equipment. The manager, Ashley is so friendly! While Hotworx is more expensive than your traditional gym setting, it's much more accessible (24/7 hours) than other boutique exercise experiences and is much cheaper than their competition.
