Love the staff and fairly wide variety of selections they offer. Great place especially for warhammer related products.

Great board game store to visit with a date or group of friends…read more Came here in person at rush hour to pick up a game, as I didn't want to pay for shipping online. It's located in Richmond Hill in the business/warehouse district off a windy road called West Beaver Creek. The address is easy to find, lots of free plaza parking, it's next to a kids dance studio and very visible store sign. Nothing sus like another yelper stated. Inside is very spacious, clean and bright. I love how organised the shelving for new games were laid out and they even more games in back. Off the walk in, I was greeted immediately and four employees were excited to help me. They are game experts and could name off suggestions for games quickly, to pair with similar games I had in mind. Super fun to nerd off in the board game world here! I always cross reference with boardgamegeek.com first when planning to new purchases, but asked them in person to see if opinions lined up. I was impressed one employee was quick to suggest ones I never heard of. Prices are good to fair. I felt no pressure to buy anything there, they even offered if I wanted to test ones that they have opened or to get a feel of the pieces(card game quality for kid durability is real). I left with buying three games I had eyed online, and excited for the suggestions for the next visit. They have a free loyalty program, can't hurt to sign up when you're a board game investor, as this is one place to bookmark. No food or cafe noticed here, unlike other board game places. Maybe one day as they are still new.

Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

In the spirit of being upfront, I want any that read this to know that I've been a friend of the…read moreowner for many years, for some this may mean that I'll go easy on the business instead of being objective. Because I know Jason and the kind of person he is I have higher standards for this store than any other game store I've Patronized. Casual Dragon Games is, simply put, an amazing store. They have a great selection of Board, Card, RPG, and Miniature based Games. They offer a very active calendar of free gaming based events (Open board gaming, Role Playing Games etc) and some Buy in Events (Magic the Gathering Drafts as an example). The owner is very well versed in many of these games and in most cases can even show you how to play the game you purchase. Because Jason is also a game designer he has a lot of experience in explaining tough directions to a player, in an easily understood way. Now for any that have read my reviews of places like this, they will have seen that I've reviewed other stores also. Casual Dragon offers almost all the same services, snacks for gamers playing in open game night, tradeable magic cards and a space to try out your new game. This is where Casual Dragon Games easily beats its competition because not only is there one room to have open gaming in or to play your newly bought game. There are several game rooms for this. Other stores have large areas but they don't have separated rooms. The noise level becomes a problem on high traffic nights for them, but Casual Dragon doesn't have this issue. He also has a couple of sellers that sell their items on consignment. Mark (the coordinator of Lil'con) sells used console systems and games here (I just bought a N64 and some fun games for my son here), and Mike from mikescustomdicetrays on etsy sells custom made dice boxes here as well. But the real kicker that puts this store at the head of the pack is the Escape Room that Jason has engineered here. His prices for groups are reasonable (and lower than most escape rooms) and his, is by far the most challenging I've ever been through (In fact is the only one I didn't escape from) All in all, this store is amazing, come check it out and be prepared to get your Geek on!

Highly recommended. My only issue is that even though they do have a wide selection of games I couldn't find the one I was specifically looking for. To be fair though, I have niche tastes, lol. Still think anyone who enjoys board games should 100% check it out.
