When I called spoke to two different people they said he had no no negative interactions and he must have bumped his legs on the floor that is not how dogs get pressure ulcers so I do not recommend this facility.

Plug into google maps and off I go for my hour long drive, pull into this parking lot ... call inside to let them know we were here, but we were at the wrong vet.... OMG. What had I done . The vet I was talking with on the phone advised me where I was is also an avian vet and that they should be able to help me. So I go inside this Vet (Belton Animal Clinic and Exotic Care Ctr) and announced I was in the wrong place but hoped they could help. We had a good chuckle and they got me set up immediately in a room while waiting for the Vet. I couldn't believe they were available. While there the feather corrected itself and they were able to do a wing, nail and beak trim also. The vet tech and Dr Peck were the nicest people that my bird has ever been seen by. I was able to be in the room which made me feel so much more at ease as well as my bird. I can't get over how Great this place is!! It's super clean, the staff has extensive knowledge of birds, they're kind and gentle and the Number 1vet we've experienced in our 20 years together. I highly recommend!!!

The admin staff is super friendly and helpful and provided me with the paperwork needed to submit to my pet insurance. 2. The technician that worked with us was incredible with compassion and knowledge, able to answer my questions. 3. Dr. Starr's compassion is the best that I have experienced since moving to the Kansas City area. 4. The cost is comparable to most places, maybe even a bit more economical. All in all, we are very pleased with this clinic as they have treated our little "villain corgi" with the utmost respect and care.

On our seven year old Shih Tsu, "Callie's birthday, the groomer at Crysler Animal Hospital discovered swollen lymph nodes. The clinic there did some blood tests and forwarded a sample to the KU Veterinary School for analysis. KU definitively affirmed lymphoma and suspected a possible cancer present. Dr. Erica Nowlin at Crysler suggested further testing at BluePearl Pet Hospital as they are an oncology hospital and would be able to confirm cancer. We easily booked an appointment and Callie was seen by Dr. Heather Heeb on Thursday 5/28/26. We were impressed with the thoroughness of the examination and testing results. We were offered a plethora of treatment options. But we came away with the realization, Callie will succumb to this disease. On Friday 5/29/26, we made two phone calls to BluePearl, leaving two voice mail messages. Neither were acknowledged nor did we receive a callback. On Monday 6/1/26 7:20 a.m. we called and again left a voicemail at the tone requesting an Rx for prednisone which Dr. Heeb had suggested for comfort. Due to the unresponsiveness we experienced, we called the Crysler Hospital at 7:24 to expedite meds, as it was obvious that Callie was in discomfort. By 8:15, Dr. Jay Schweizer called to alert us that Callie's meds were ready for pick up. Thanks so much to the caring, attentive team at Crysler for great COMMUNICATION. Below is a screenshot of the text message received from BluePearl. I would recommend an improvement in communication from the team at BluePearl regarding aftercare.

I have been coming to this vet for maybe about a year and Dr. Schumacher was my choice for my cats…read more She is nice, takes her time, explains everything well and listens to our concerns and ideas and discusses treatment options well. She is compassionate and when our cat was out of options and we had to have him euthanized, she brought back a memory facial imprint and paw imprint that have been very special reminders of my beloved cat. They also are good at trying to fit you in for urgent needs.
