Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.
