Over the past two years, I have used this company to repair my cell phone and had never had a poor experience. However, today was the first time I worked with the manger of the store and was highly disappointed with his professionalism, or lack thereof and his unwillingness to issue a refund for a phone battery that I purchased on behalf of a friend. This business owner, offered to issue me a $10 refund despite the fine print on their receipt stating that a 75% refund would be issued on any item if returned within 30 days....only 3 days had passed since the initial purchase. Once asked why he was not willing to adhere to the return policy on the receipt, he stated "There is a labor charge." After this information, I offered to remove the battery from the cell phone myself. He then responded by saying there are other fees as well, but he never articulated what those additional fees were. He lacked professionalism, customer service, and business etiquette. He insinuated that perhaps my friend did not have either of the chargers she attempted to use actually contacted to the outlet. This quasi-business owner/manager does not value the customer and from my experience is a thief and a crook. Please spare yourself and take your business elsewhere read more

Was in town visiting my sister and my phone suddenly stopped working. There were a few apps that kept force closing, including my camera and music, so I decided to turn my phone off and back on to see if it helped. Bad idea. My phone wouldn't turn back on. I tried charging it, doing a reset (by pressing/holding the sleep and home buttons) and updating it through iTunes while connected to my laptop. Nothing worked. I made an appt at the Genius Bar at the Apple Store and they tried all the same things I had. When they tried the update, it failed and the apple tech told me he'd never seen an error message like the one he got on my phone. Eventually I was told my phone was just old (I have a 5s) and needed to think about replacing it. Besides that, my only option was to completely restore my phone, which would wipe everything off of it. I'm not technology savvy and I never back up my iPhone (I know, I know) so restoring my phone wouldn't have been a problem if I knew I could get everything back. I had lots of work info on there that I needed including special photos and a saved voicemail from my dad that I didn't want to lose. So, I decided to wait and yelped a few phone repair places to see if there were any other options. This place had good reviews and when I called, the owner was really nice (I think his name was Nate?) and encouraged me to stop by so he could have a look. So thankful I did! He had my phone fixed in about an hour and I didn't lose any data/photos/etc! I have no idea what he did but it worked and it was way more affordable then getting a new phone or worse yet, having to restore it to factory settings and losing all my info. This place is definitely worth a try if you have a phone that needs fixing, especially if you're not quite ready to upgrade it. read more
