My friend was sold a phone here, the gentleman who sold it was nice and accommodating. She brought it back that day because of a problem with the charging port (it was faulty). They fixed it by taking apart and installing a new port via solder. She was told that it was guaranteed for 30 days. After two the battery went bad, likely because the soldering job was done incorrectly. She went back and they denied it was a problem with the work without even looking at it. The man working was a different man and he blamed everything from the charger being the problem (it was the charger they provided) to her having a bad battery from the start (they checked the battery before we left the first time). We took it to my house and put it on the factory charger (I own the same phone). Not only did it take a long time to charge but when she started using the phone, it started overheating (again proving that the fix their shop performed was the issue) and overheating can cause the battery to go bad. She returned to the shop, they offered to swap the phone and she asked if it would have the same guarantee, which is fair since they sent her home with a lemon the first time. The gentleman was rude, told her no, and sent her home with the first phone saying it was perfectly good and that it was overheating because of my charger (the factory charger that came new with my phone which is the exact same phone, a galaxy 3, down to the same color). UPDATE: Just verified with a tech from a different shop that it was an issue with the repair that is causing the batteries to go bad and yes, as of now the replacement battery had also gone bad. UPDATE: Phone FINALLY replaced, we will see how these goes.... read more

I went to Phone Stop last Wednesday, kindly received the information I was looking for and was excited to come back today (Friday) to take care of business. The guys took good care of me and my son! 5 stars (out of 5) on customer service; and that is almost everything to me. These guys know what they are doing, good business, good prices, fair trades...with a smile. I am grateful for this new phone stop, now I don't have to go to my service carrier store where the customer service is less than desirable on most occasions. I purchased a phone for my nephew from Phonestop but we found out the mic is broken The guy told us he had to fix it but didn't ! and when we returned the phone the following day he pretended there was nothing wrong with it. These guys refused to give me my money back, due to the trade in only policy. except the other phone was way more expensive. I told him he is getting a bad review but he laughed at me. So I am just warning ya'll folks out there don't go there cuz they ain't gonna make it right! I had a samsung galaxy s3 for about 6 month's. Eventually my phone started dying 2 hour's after being fully charged even when i didn't use it. My friend recommended phonestop and they told me it was a bad charging port. They soldered it in 30 min (while i sat on the couch and watched random stuff on their tv)..after the repair my phone hasn't done weird things since. My mom owns the phone now (she loves it) and I was able to upgrade to a samsung s4 also from phonestop! Which is purple! And they even contacted Boost Mobile to have it be switched from sprint to boost and get me a sim card. read more

My charging port went south on my Samsung galaxy s5. I brought it in to have them repair it. I was a little bit aprehensive at first, not knowing their work or reputation. They also have a no fault policy on their part if they crack the screen getting to the charging port. They had my phone for a couple of hours and the job was done. They did a great job! I have no idea why people would rate these guys anything but 5 stars. I've been to this store i want to say around 5 or so times to sell phones and to get them also repaired. I've referred my friends and family to them because i know their work is always good. I will always come here if I ever even have phone questions they don't mind answering them as well, that's if they are not busy. Was going to trade my phone in. After being quoted one price over the phone, turns out it was bait and switch. Just to get me to come in and waste my time. Horrible. Even after negotiating what they said was a "fair price", I still couldn't find anything to my liking. Will be looking online for another phone. Stay away, they will NOT stand by their service, My screen came apart the first night due to an improper install and they would NOT repair it, NO physical or water damage! I feel it was NOT installed right or was defective! Either way they told me $30 to fix what should have been warrenty work! I will NEVER go back or refer these people to ANYONE! read more
