I wish I would have contracted them for my wedding! They are a fun, pleasant, and visionary duo. They will do the best they can to book when most convenient. For example, I was 38 weeks pregnant when I first contacted Crisanta. So, with the fact that I was 38 weeks, Crisanta took ACTION and booked me ASAP. They know of a lot of locations to shoot by the way. Their prices are reasonable, ask about the maternity and newborn package! Seriously!! They are prepared with those lovely flowy dresses, I actually wanted to keep one. As soon as my son was born I couldn't wait to book the baby's photo shoot. While handling a newborn, I finally had time to email Crisanta. We booked a date within days! My husband and I were welcomed into her home/studio, when you're there you just hand Crisanta and her assistant your baby or babies and they get started. Oh and while your baby or babies are modeling, the parents can chill on a comfy sofa while watching Netflix or Hulu and they provide a generous set of snacks too. My husband and I walked in quietly to see how they work their magic, and they are super gentle and prepared with white noise to keep baby calm. You'll see that there's no doubt they truly have the experience and trust them to let them handle your angel! Oh and my baby pooped a bit on their props but they were cool with it and laughed. She even did a newborn session with my baby and she was just amazing! My husband called her the "baby whisperer". Their studio is set up to make babies so comfortable. The first time we met Marlin, we knew we had our photographer. Marlin is professional, yet easy going, down to earth and FUN!!!!! We felt at ease with him, almost like we were sitting and chatting with an old friend of ours. :) He takes amazing photos that anyone would be proud to show off to friends and family. He has an excellent eye for seeing what would make a great shot. Marlin and his wife, Marlene met up with us in Santa Barbara to do our engagement photos. But don t expect a prompt turn around with your pictures or a wedding album two years after you have been married. Today, July 23, 2013 marks two years that my husband and I have been married. I hired Marlin and Marlene Munoz to be our wedding photographer in 2011. We were asked to sign a contract and pay in full prior to our wedding. We complied with Marlin s wishes but he has yet to hold up his end of the deal. I m writing today because we have yet to receive our wedding album, two years to the date. Marlin has ignored my emails, calls and text messages for months. Then out of the blue he finally returns a call to my husband with an attitude, excuses and unfulfilled promises. After months of silence he finally agreed to send a refund or our wedding album by July 1, 2013. As of today he has yet to do either. I noticed that we are not the only couple who Marlin took money from without producing the full product agreed upon. It is so mean and unprofessional to take someone s money and hold on to their memories of their special day. Ignore the positive ratings of the past because the current Marlin Munoz Photography will smile in your face, take your money, lie to you and make you regret hiring him in the first place!

They were the best in understanding our 2 postponements and they really became close after almost 2 years of wedding planning. Prior to wedding day, they helped us plan timeline and photo opportunities/locations to shoot. Wedding day, they were the best hype people to have around all day from getting ready / detail photos to night time shots. My husband and Tim bonded over planes, and Marisa kept the mood fun and energetic, even when we've were getting tired.
