Marisa and Tim are INCREDIBLE! I wanted a colorful wedding and I wanted our photos to look like our day - fun, goofy, colorful, vibrant, full of love and joy - and they absolutely nailed it. A bunch of sepia-toned photos of us gazing into each other eyes with serious faces would have felt extremely fake - no shade to sepia or staring into each others eyes, I think those photos are beautiful (and we did get a couple beautiful serious ones and some black & white ones I love), but the look doesn't feel like us. I feel so seen by our photographers! Their customer service was also top notch - lots of communication and some above-and-beyond special touches that were incredibly thoughtful. You hear so many horror stories of trying to hunt down or communicate with wedding vendors, and there was none of that here. The Petersons are a shining example of great work and great to work with. Upon meeting them, they made us feel very comfortable by wanting to know what WE wanted. They listened, made suggestions, and paid attention to our needs. Marisa gets straight to the point in a commanding, but friendly way (which i liked - because I don't like dealing with BS), and Tim cracks the jokes, just adding a little fun to the job, keeping things moving in an entertaining way. We had a DIY backyard wedding so there was no real coordination, Marisa even went above and beyond to help do some coordinating on the fly for us, so that we knew what the hell we should do, and they in turn, got the shots that they wanted. She came back on her own time, just to give us a few pointers and guidance. Not ideal for either party I'm sure, but I think it worked out to benefit all of us. The pictures came back beautiful. There are a few of my wife that will be ingrained into my brain for all eternity. What also blew me away was their attention to detail. All of the little things, including photos of a minuscule engraving on the inside of our rings. They didn't ask, they just did, and we trusted them to do what they do, and we had amazing photos and an amazing experience with them. I would highly recommend them. Marisa and Tim are absolutely fantastic! From the moment my husband and I first met them at our consultation we knew they were going to capture our day perfectly. They really care about your wedding day and want you to get the photos that you will treasure forever.
