Where do I even begin? Waiting forever when I was the only person in the place AND made an appointment. Or the fact that when I finally did see an NP she was barely in the room for two minutes. Then I see her recording our whole conversation on her iPad without disclosing to me that I am Being recorded. I could have let all this go if they had actually helped me but that was not the case. My throat was so bad and swollen I couldn't talk and had to have family come with me to communicate. Since I didn't have strep or Covid they sent me on my way with no meds or any kind of advice other than take advil and rinse with salt water which I had been doing for two weeks already. I had to pay $175 to be seen for two minutes and walk away with no remedy. Fast forward two months and my card was charged another $75 without my consent or any kind of notice. I called and complained for them to say it's policy and what I signed for when being seen. BEWARE! In the end I had to go to a different doctor and it turned out I DID need meds, I will be contesting the charges with my bank for fraudulent since there was barely any services rendered and the services received were less than adequate. I work in healthcare and I try to be understanding but this place is beyond strange. Nobody is ever at the front to check people in. You sit there wondering if anyone is there but you can see people on their phones just ignoring people in the waiting area. The fake nails that are all grown out and not wearing gloves is beyond GROSS. You are dealing with super sick people and babies? Fake nails that long are beyond disgusting and not permitted but who am I. This place also will run a bunch of extra tests just to charge insurance even if they say it's just a virus. The lady at the front desk (Hispanic heavy set) was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I basically had to do coach her in her own job on a drug test I had to do for my employer. Not only did I have to coach her she lied about them being opened( they close early if they are "short"). Go to another urgent care. read more

I Did not have a great experience. The lady with the glasses at the front desk who was (heavy set ) was rude. After I finished my test she rushed to have me sign a document that I wanted to read first, and proceeded to question me as to why I was reading the document. After I signed it she asked rudely was the document signed. Would definitely not go back for any circumstance. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this experience ruined my day. read more

While the customer service was great (from the front desk, to the nurse and even the PA), the PA totally misdiagnosed my partner. We both came in with a bad cold and cough and she diagnosed him without a chest x-ray as having pneumonia. She also gave me antibiotics because I was "exposed" to it. It turns out he had bronchitis and needed totally different medicine then what she gave him to get better a lot quicker. She should have told both of us to get a chest x-ray asap. Would never ever go to this place. She is going to misdiagnose someone someday and kill them. read more

horrible people, they make you wait for almost 2 hours then tell you they can't help and don't know what to do AFTER a failed attempt that made the issue worse, they can't do the simplest thing imaginable, and treat you rudely the whole time. they could have told me they couldn't before making me wait. First Of all, I am very confused by people being upset having to wait an an urgent care center. You have to understand that emergencies don't make appointments and it's nearly impossible to estimate how long each case will take. I went in today and saw Dr. Mitchell. I was beyond impressed with her professionalism and kindness. She was honest, straightforward and did not cut any corners. It has been a long time since I've seen a Dr be so thorough. The receptionist was very kind and trust me some of the patients in the waiting room were not kind to her. I hope not to need urgent care, but if I do, this is my first choice. Front office lady rolled her eyes when I said I had no paperwork even tho I was never given paperwork. It took me 2 minutes on my phone to fill everything out. The reception lady and the doctor are good, but there was a nurse that tried to get a blood sample and she clearly had no idea what she was doing lol. she tried to get it into the tube but she didn't know how so after a minute she got a different piece of plastic and scraped out some remaining blood from my finger and left the room. who knows what she did with it then. and she left me with the bloody bandages to throw away which isn't a huge deal but idk. so yeah do with this what you will good luck read more

I made an appointment a day in advance for 1pm the following day. We arrived on time, and I had already pre-checked in online with all of our information prior to arriving. When we got there, the front desk woman informed me they were doing "telehealth" and asked if I was okay with that. I responded, "Okay, will the doctor be able to still check inside my daughter's ears?" She responded that yes, the doctor would see through a camera. Okay, not ideal, but we were already there so I said that's fine and they took my $60 copay. Only after my copay was collected was I told that they actually canno do telehealth for my daughter because she was too young, and said I could wait for the doctor. I asked when the doctor would be back and she could only tell me "less than an hour". I asked why appointments were available for a time period the doctor was on a break. The employee told me she wished she could answer that question and that it wasn't the first time someone had asked. So we agreed to wait across the street and the woman told me she would call when the doctor returned. About an hour later, I got a call to come back in, so we headed over. Maybe a minute after that call, I received another call stating that actually the doctor wasn't feeling well and wouldn't be seeing anyone as we are about to walk. At this point I've wasted over an hour beyond my appointment time to find out that we wouldn't be seen at all, AND they already collected my copay, which I was told would not be refunded and I should look for a check in the mail at a later date. Overall an extremely frustrating experience with poor communication and poor customer service. I'll report back if I don't ever receive my copay money back. read more

I went in extremely sick. They gave me a covid and strep test, which both came back negative. After that they decided to give me no diagnosis and said they would prescribe some medicine to help. They prescribed allergy medicine and coughing pearls, which I knew would not help at all. So I decided to go to a different doctor the next day. There I was immediately diagnosed with mono and the doctor said it was very obvious I had mono. However, Physicians Immediate Care did not test me for this or help at all. I will never go back here, especially after a $50 co-pay for absolutely no help. read more

When arriving early for an appointment, I was told they were running behind. I asked if we should leave and come back in an hour. She stated no- wait in your car. Staff is really nice. But the wait time is LONG. Obviously you're going to wait when you go to the go to any urgent care. But online it said the wait time was 44 minutes. It's more like 2-3 hours. While waiting, it said I was next in line and all of sudden showed my visit as being complete. Even though I still haven't even been called back. After 2 hours I was called back. I waited for the doctor for an additional 15 minutes, and she was really great. So just be prepared to wait when you come. read more

It's crazy I am writing 2 reviews for the same company but in different locations (I did not realize this was the same company when I was searching on google for another urgent care nearby). I visited this urgent care first. I called before I left and the customer service stated they closed at 8:00 pm and as long as I was there by 8:00 I would be seen. I arrived at this location at 7:15 pm on 8/8/2022. I walked in and an older lady wearing a red shirt said we are not taking any more patients. I stated I called and they said you were open and as long as I am there by 8 I would be seen. She said well that is our call center, you did not talk directly to me. I said so since you are open I cannot be seen? She said no we are not taking any more patients the doctor has to leave at 8 because they have something to do. First off, if this is the case, why when I call this wasn't stated to me? She said you can visit Silver Cross they close at 9 they will see you. So with this particular encounter, it felt racist but I cannot say it was it just felt that way. She didn't say sorry, she absolutely did NOT GIVE A CARE. If you are a healthcare facility and your duty is to take care of patients and provide care, as a physician that may mean you will NOT walk out the door at closing. How is this even ok? I ended up leaving and filed a complaint with a customer rep when I pulled up to the next urgent care, (same company but didn't know this at the time), the Orland Park location did the same thing to me except after going back and forth with the Orland Park location I was seen. Its quite said as a customer who needed medical help for her child, I proactively called to see if I could come and customer service ensured me I would be seen as long as I arrived by 8, but in both cases, they cut the hours short because they want to go home. Called in advance to inquire about being able to walk in for a sports physical for my son. They said I could walk in today as long as I arrived before 7:15. I arrived at 7:10 and they refused us. Said they are no longer taking walk ins for the day Only appointments for tomorrow. I told her that I called a little while ago and was told that I would be able to walk in today as long as I arrived by 7:15. I recently recieved a Covid Booster shot which made me ill and my employer sent me to this location to confirm my symptoms. I was first seen by a nurse who took my temperature and blood pressure. After that there was no further examination of me done. The "physician" who saw me after the nurse was more than appropriately named Karen. Karen literally did no examination and stated I was fit for work immediately upon entering the office because "I looked well." I told her that I could barely move my arm and I have chills and exhaustion along with a sore throat, but all to no avail. She just kept repeatedly apologizing and saying I look well and that I am fit for work. Both the nurse and "physician" Karen turned their nose up when I mentioned I took the Covid booster. Too often people attempt to insert politics and project their own personal beliefs regarding vaccines onto others. Please avoid this location if you are in any need of care. If your employer sends you here then ask for a different location if you want genuine service. And if you absolutely MUST go to this location then simply avoid the KAREN. read more

The registration desk charged me 150$ copay even though my card said 50$. The NP wreaked of cigarette smoke. Even though I tested positive for the flu, she wouldn't give me Tamiflu or cough medicine with codeine... "because they wouldn't help". My symptoms were present for less than 24 hours so I was a good candidate. And...she never washed her hands or used hand sanitizer in front of me. read more

Very poor customer service. I went in for a drug screening for my job and the lady at the front desk was very very rude and sarcastic. She then passed me off to another lady who had me forward the email of approval from my job to her. All she did was print out the email and said I was supposed to call my job the Friday before which I did and when I tried pointing something out that she missed from the email she didn't even look and then snapped on me in front of the other patients. I felt so embarrassed and just walked out because she was unwilling to help. I called my employer and explained what happened and they said some other employees had similar experiences. I then went to another location who actually checked for me and found me in the system and gave me much better service. Please get better staff and train them in proper customer service, it's sad to see people working at healthcare be rude people. read more

Horrible experience. The wait time was almost an hour and a half with one person being seen in front of me. The doctor was not only rude but misdiagnosed me as well and had a ton of tests run. When they followed up I suggested a couple things I had researched on my own based on how I was feeling and she basically told me I didn't know what I was taking about. I called back to see if they would call in an antibiotic because an OTC was helping and they refused. I went back and forth for a couple of minutes to no avail. Do not waste your time here. I came here twice. The first was when I left the emergency room at Silver Cross Hospital and came to that urgent care. For five days I had 103 fever that would not break. The doctors were telling me that it was a sinus infection but I knew that it was more. Once I got seen at seen at Physicians immediate care I was diagnosed with a viral infection that was affecting my breathing. I immediately got a double dose of nebulizer treatment and some steroids and within a few days I was feeling 100% better. I recently went back with my son who broke his finger and the staff there were amazing. Contrary to what others are saying about this place, this will not be the last that I come here for my medical needs. read more

This place always provides relatively quick and effective service. The issue with them is inaccurate billing. I had the unfortunate luck of taking my 2 daughters to this place approximately 3 weeks apart for the same sports injury. The first visit cost $17.25 after insurance and the second visit cost $283.06 after insurance. For the second visit I didn't even receive a bill. I noticed the charge on my credit card statement. After 20 minutes on the phone with the billing department (most of it consisted of the lady telling me I was wrong), they finally figured out their mistake. read more

I broke my radial/closed fracture (wrist area) Hurt like heck. Dr. Gave me a pretty pink cast. I was able to afford treatment, paid in full. We (unfortunately) had an urgent situation to deal with when my 4 year old slipped and fell while playing with her sisters. She landed on a the corner of the crown molding of a support beam in our home and it was obvious that she needed stitches. We called Silver Cross and they had a 3+ hour wait - not an option for a 4 year old. We decided to go to Physician's and I'm so glad we did. We were seen within minutes of arriving. The entire staff made the process quick and calm. They were overly accommodating to my entire family- from making sure the patient was safe (and even laughing!) to bringing my oldest daughter out to the waiting room and keeping her company (she gets very nervous when anyone is hurting). Berta (a nurse at Physicians) was incredible - to the point where all 3 of my daughters colored pictures to bring to her at our 72 hour check up. She remembered my daughters and went out of her way to provide excellent care, which isn't easy to do when you have an injured toddler. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Thank you so much to the team at Physicians for making my youngest (and her mama) feel so welcomed and safe. read more

Went last night to get shortness of breath, pain in chest, and suspected sinus infection checked out. I have a history of lung issues such as asthma and bronchitis and since we're new to the area we considered going to the emergency room but thought we would try the urgent care because it was closer. I'm glad we went there. The staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was very surprised to find out they actually have an x-ray machine on site. I didn't think urgent cares had those. Dr. Hopkins was very friendly, very caring, and thought outside the box with ways to clear out my sinus cavities. Believe me I've had issues my entire life with my sinuses and she gave me tips for clearing them out that I never would have thought of. My only negative was that there were no face masks available in the waiting area. One should have been given to me. With my coughing and wheezing, I was quite a site and probably made others waiting very nervous. Overall, I highly recommend this facility. read more
