this place is horrible. I've waited here e for a hour and watched like 3 people leave and still no call back. I've watched people go in before me that just walked in. I've been waiting here since 1:11 and it's 2:40 I'm thinking of just leaving at this point because I know that the here's gonna be no help in this situation. Waiting for an hour with no updates or assistance is definitely not okay. It's really disappointing when businesses don't value their customers' time. Did they give you any reason for the delay, or was it just complete radio silence? It's so annoying when you're left hanging like that, especially when you have other things to do. I had taken my son to this facility for a drug test on Sunday 11/27/2022. When we arrived they posted his wait time as 0-17 minutes. After an hour wait my son inquired about the. remaining wait time as he was very uncomfortable. The person at reception went in the back and was heard talking with staff who all began laughing. When the receptionist returned she informed my son it would be another hour or two. We left without his drug test being performed. The lack of compassion and respect for clients was the worst I have seen in a long time. As you can see from previous reviews the staff here discriminates people who are required to have drug testing. I would like to say this facility is horrible. read more

I recently came here because of an embarrassing situation but I decided to muscle up the courage and come here. Setting up something online and even accepting out of pocket was such a great feature. Karen was absolutely amazing and was joyfully understanding and accommodating throughout my time. In a matter of 10 minutes give or take, I was back on my feet feeling 110 percent again.... I had to come in here to be seen my someone. However they didn't tell me they don't submit it to my insurance company at the beginning when I was first scene. I called today to find out about the $716 bill I had, wasn't submitted to my insurance. When I called today the guy didn't know what he was talking about and very comprehend. But found out, it is up to me the PATIENT to submit the claim. Even my insurance representative was surprised that they refused to submit the claim. Very very disappointed in this awful and will not ever be returning. Now I have to give a follow up. This should NOT be my responsibility as I'm paying for my insurance. Had an appointment for 2:50. It is now 4:30 and I still haven't been back to a room or even triaged for an eye injury so bad that I can't see or open my eye. They had no problem taking my $60 though. DO NOT GO HERE, BILLING NIGHTMARE!!!! Service at the facility was fantastic for my son's broken arm, unfortunately billing is a nightmare. Insurance paid the bill right away, Physicians Immediate Care claims they have not received payment and they will not assist in resolving the issue. The call center refuses to call the insurance company directly or do a conference call with me on the line. I have attempted to call Physicians immediate care with my insurance company on the line with me and was told they cannot talk to insurance and was disconnected. From the insurance company's perspective this issue is closed as the bill has been paid. I have explanation of benefits showing proof of payment and they will not accept it. I have requested calls back from a supervisor 10x and no one will return my phone calls, I have sent numerous emails and do not get a response. I now have notice that I am going to be sent to collections for a bill that was paid by my insurance company months ago. To say I am frustrated is an understatement. read more

Nothing wrong with the doctors in the back, respectful, holds conversations with you, very sweet. The receptionist needs an attitude adjustment. No, hi, how are you, nothing. Just asks for my id gave me papers to fill out and told me to sit. She then asked me a question, I couldn't hear so I said "sorry what was that" she yells it, there's a difference between changing your voice to make someone hear you and yelling. Then a man and his toddler come out of the bathroom, he's filling something out on his phone, she says to him, "so?", he said he's got it all done but it won't let him put his daughters birthday in, she says "ok, and, just tap the button", that's when I got called to go in the back, not sure how that went after. In the back, the girl is measuring my height. The counter where the little window is, where the receptionist can hand you the patients paperwork they filled out is right in front of me. Receptionist throws the paper through the little window, I'm surprised they didn't fall off the counter. I finally leave and she doesn't even say bye or have a nice day. Everyone can have a bad day, but no one needs to act like that at work, especially at a place of work like this. read more

First off 165 for a visit with someone who doesn't have insurance? Way to much! Damn near are in the middle of a recession, not to mention pandemic why would I have 165 just to be SEENN. Then the two ladies at the front had no compassion at all just wanted the money upfront before even filling out paperwork. Not affordable for middle class, working students, with children. I would highly highly recommend STAYING AWAY from this place. It is by far the most unprofessional phone staff I have ever worked with. I say phone staff because due to COVID, that's the only way to speak with anyone. They don't let any patients in the building. During my visit I waited over 2 hours in my car to get a Covid screening done outside. That wasn't the issue. The staff that day was nice. They told me I'd have my results within 5 days. They said they usually return in 3 days but have to quote up to 5. Today, as of this writing it is the 7th BUSINESS DAY since my test and no results. So I called in and spoke with a woman who gave me the name "Carol Jackson". I was calling in and asking questions regarding my Covid results and all she kept doing was cutting me off and being extremely confrontational. I had to stop her several times and politely say "excuse me Miss I am still speaking." She just did not want to hear any of it. So because of that I asked her if I should just go to CVS as they're advertising 2 day results and she got even more mad and in a rude tone responded "You can go wherever you want. It's all going to the same place anyway so you're gonna wait no matter what. Lastly, as I was asking why I was quoted the time frame I was she cut me off and informed me "because that's what the time frame was. Now it's 10 days and i'm not going to argue with you about it." At this point I had enough of her horrendous people skills so I asked for her name, she said it was Carol Jackson like she was invincible and wouldn't be getting in trouble for how she treated me and we ended the call. Now I get it, you girls are very busy but there is a right way and a wrong way to respond to your sick patients. My questions were simple and I remained calm and polite despite her arrogance/confrontational personality. If this happened with me I assure you it's happening with others. I hate to even writthis but this needs to be brought to managements attention. I hope Miss Jackson gets some needed time off. She obviously cannot handle the pressure of this industry and it's getting taken out on people like me. What a shame. UPDATE: ITS JULY 16th AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY COVID TEST RESULTS FROM JUNE 28th. I EVENTUALLY GOT SO SICK THAT I WENT TO PALOS ER WHERE THEY CONFIRMED I HAVE COVID. I'm updating my original review based on a response from their patient care services. They contacted me via email then we spoke on the phone. She sounded genuinely concerned and we discussed what they will be doing to minimize the wait time (for drug screening) and what we can do on our part (from a company standpoint) to help alleviate the masses at the beginning of the month. I've spoke with our admin staff and they will let corporate know the plan. They did not get full pull yet until we see what happens in the up coming months when the randoms come up. read more

Was exposed to COVID and went in for a test on WED with symptoms. The tech did not even swab my nose all the way and was very put off that she had to test me. Rude is not even a word to describe the attitude. Test came back negative but I was sure it was because she did not stick the swab in enough. Told her my concerns and she said nope your negative, go about your business. Woke up Friday feeling the same way and went to a different facility - tested positive. So for two days I could have exposed dozens of people all because one person did not want to do their job correctly? And we wonder why we are in a pandemic. If I could give a 0 I would. I came here back in September for an urgent care situation as I was in town for a weekend visit. The staff was helpful, I was treated, but told to come back the next day for a follow up. They made it seem that it was very important for me to come back for that follow up, so I did. Little did I know that I would be billed an additional $100 copay for that follow-up. I saw a doctor for a total of 2 minutes. I can guarantee, he was not worth $50 per minute. I sent an e-mail to the billing department and received a call back telling me that they were mandated by the insurance companies to charge that copay. Sorry, but no! That is your company policy, not a mandate by the insurance company. I didn't mind paying the co-pay and all other fees for my initial visit, but to charge me $100 for a follow up is a joke and a scam. read more

I've been to this care facility several times and am very pleased with it. Those who complain about it being slow need to realize that if there are a lot of people waiting, it will take time to work through all their issues. The building is only so big and they have only so many rooms. It's not a big hospital and they don't have a lot of staff there. However, like someone else who left a review, I also made an appt one day and when I got there, I was about 8th in line and they took everyone in order. I didn't get called until about 30 min after my appt time. Sometimes waiting a long time is the nature of 'immediate care' facilities. One time at ANOTHER care facility, I had pneumonia with a high fever and felt horrible, and waited for 90 minutes before getting called in. I've been treated by 2 doctors at this facility and think they are both great. I'm totally happy with the examinations and treatments that they gave me. Depending on what my ailment is, I sometimes choose to go to this clinic instead of my own family doctor. I went there today because I had fallen off a ladder and bruised my ribs, and I saw where they do imaging at this facility. I got there at about 8 AM, was examined and got x-rayed, and then was treated and was out by 9 AM. This is a great alternative to going to the ER if it is not a real emergency. The whole staff is excellent and I look forward to going there again when necessary. It would probably be best to call ahead of time to see how busy they are if you are concerned about time. read more

Better of going to st. Joe's hospital. The 2 receptionist at 830a on tues oct 23 were so rude I don't know how they have a job. The first one had an attitude and I had to keep repeating myself. She then was looking around and then asked the other girl if they took my insurance. The other girl was rude the way she said no and the first girl was very rude saying it too. St. Joe's was great taking care of my 5 yr old. I wouldn't go here if this was the only medical place opened. I would rather have someone off the street treat me. Remember the receptionist are the front line and make things look bad for the good Dr's if they are good. read more

I want to like this location and the desk staff is always helpful and friendly. But the few times I've had to come here I have had a very mediocre experience. And it's because I always leave not being heard and still having the same problem I came in with. I was here suffering from foot pain and the doctor once she saw i had flat feet really didn't listen to anything I had to say. Because I'm her mind my foot pain was because I had flat feet and nothing else really mattered. After getting no answers and no solutions coming here I had to go to another doctor who actually took the time to listen to what I had to say. And it turns out I had falling arches and really bad tendinitis is my feet and he helped me tremendously. I am very thankful that I went somewhere else and got the answers I needed. And for those reasons I doubt I will return to this facility or recommend that anyone I know come here. read more

I showed up there with a fever, severe congestion, body aches, extreme sinus pain and pressure in my head. They tested for flu which was neg. After 2 hours they sent me home and said to buy some Zyrtec and also told me a few other super obvious things that we ALL already know, such as drink water and get rest. I felt the PA was not listening to me when I told her I have a sinus infection. In fact I've there before and each time it was for a sinus infection. I left there upset and feeling worse than when I got there. Broke down and went to the ER that evening where they said I have a sinus infection and respiratory infection. i cut my hand gardening, Thankfully I went to Physicians Immediate care on Larkin. I walked in holding my bleeding hand in a paper towel. In short order I was in a room and seen by a doctor. She looked me over and gave me a shot for pain, my hand was cleaned and stiched up. I was in and out in about an hour. The staff was wonderful and did a great job fixing my hand. I had to go to this facility for a job related injury, I waited an hour and a half until I was called, meanwhile at least three people that arrived after I did were called before me. I had to return the next day for a "recheck" and I asked Britney the very friendly receptionist why people were called before me that came after me, she said people that need drug screenings or test results are taken before other patients. Approaching 2 hour wait time. For a recheck. And I was told if you leave and come back and your name is called you have to start over in line. A woman left came back her name was called she asked Britney if they called her then Britney went in back to notify them and she was called within five minutes. I went in after being sick for over a week with a cold. I told the Dr. my ear was hurting and I had sinus pressure. He didn't even look in my ears until after I told him my ear was hurting again! And he didn't even look or feel my sinuses . He then told me he didn't think I had the flu and then ordered a flu test? He then wrote a me a prescription for augmentation even though I am allergic to penicillin. I've been to other Physician Immediate care before and the Dr's are great but I will never come back to this one again. read more
