Highly recommend this urgent care. They were the most efficient urgent care I've been to while still maintaining quality care.

Having a Urinary Tract Infection only reinforced my 'There is no God' sentiments. Or at least, if…read morethere is a God, He/She/It certainly doesn't care about me and my poor urethra... Thank God, nay, Thank Goodness for Walgreens Take Care Clinic, Doc Jenny, and my girl Laura W for her life and wallet saving suggestion. Let me start off by saying that I have no health insurance and before today I was fully behind Socialism for the healthcare benefits. 24 hours ago I felt the onset of my very first UTI and today I contemplated cutting out my urethra with a shard of glass. ...Enter Laura W. and her genius suggestion of going to the Walgreens Take Care Clinic. For $75 you're able to get top notch treatment and prescription meds (at whatever the med prices are) on the spot. Be warned that waiting times at the clinic may remind you of that scene in Beetlejuice where he's in the waiting room with #9,998,383,750,000 and the office is calling on #3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuhLtH_Jg1U&feature=related) but rest assured you'll be in good hands when they do finally get to you. Dr. Jenny was amazing. Super friendly and not at all one of those curmudgeon medical folks. As soon as the letters U.T.I. slipped out of my mouth she put me on th fast track to getting treated. She wasted no time and had a sense of humor to boot... extra points for her saying the words "poo hole" to which I absolutely could not stop laughing and instantly felt better. Turns out- Patch Adams was right, humor is the best medicine... well that and a hefty subscription of bacteria eliminating medicine. I should also mention that Dr. Jenny took into account my non-insurance lifestyle and budget every step of the way and worked her magic to ensure that I paid the least amount possible for my visit, diagnosis, and prescription. Thanks to Laura W, Doc Jenny, and Walgreens' low costs I no longer have to contemplate faking my own death to escape insane and medical costs.

They triaged me and gave me a 3 rating on a scale of 1-5 priority. We waited over an hour whilst I thought my child was dying. I asked the front desk how long it would be and she couldn't tell me but said there was a 6 hour wait and had an attitude. I called another hospital 6 miles away and got right in - bloodwork, urine analysis, Doppler, ultrasound - it was night and day and my baby is okay. I DO NOT recommend Rush Copley and warn others NOT to trust that they will take care of you because they will not.

Hospital staff were emotionally abusive to the patient IN THE PRESENCE OF THE FAMILY. I shudder to think how our loved one was treated when the family was not around. I believe that this standard of "care" would not be allowed under the Geneva Convention for prisoners of war! After transferring to a different hospital, much more compassionate care was immediately evident. Moreover, the doctors at this second hospital had far more theories of the case and considered at lot more potential treatments than Rush Copley physicians. Ultimately, the physicians at the second hospital figured out the medical issue very quickly, while Rush Copley never did in a lot more time. I am no medical expert, but I think all of this might mean that the Rush Copley Hospital was medically incompetent, if not negligent. Don't let your loved one--or even your worst enemy--check into the Rush Copley hospital! Go to Delnor or Good Samaritan hospitals instead. Both are highly rated and have been great experiences for our family over the years.

(1st time doing it outside a Drs office). I read 189 and it continued to climb to 201. My regular Dr couldn't get me in. So I reached out to a family member with heart issues and she called Dr Patels office on my behalf and he was able to see me 2 days later. I can't put into words how amazing he and his staff truly are. From new patient paperwork to Dr Patel spending 45 mins with me and my husband asking lots of questions and taking my bp a few times, to then calling me personally to check on my progress with new meds. I've Never in my life had such personal treatment from a Dr. With that said my husband is now switching over to him too. CT scan showed diverticulitis. Got script which from what I understand was not typical protocol. It worked though. Went several more times. Once I had a very sweet Dr who showed me my scan and how I was not absorbing any fluids as they were all seen on scan which she showed my husband and myself. She gave me some iv fluids and light pain meds and things started working again as I had to pee like crazy. Went home after a couple hours feeling better. Very kind Dr. 3rd time I was sent for a ct scan by my Dr because she felt a mass. The techs were nice but my contrast dripped out of my iv all over the place. They did not re-administer because she said scans were adequate. I still got charged for the contrast which is not cheap and this is not my first time so I know you r supposed to get a metallic taste and ferl it when it hits your privates. I did not get that as my contrast was on my gown bed and floor. Last time was December 2024. I was in massive pain all up my left side and had a uti. I felt it was up higher but the ct just showed bladder thickening so they blew off my extreme pain. The nurse actually gave me Tylenol for at least level 7-8 pain. I should have thrown it at her. I was treated poorly and my pain was dismissed. I certainly wouldn't have gone to the er for a simple uti. I will never go back there. One out of four was a good visit. Oh and they charge like $14k for a ct w contrast. I got a more recent one at advocate for around $2500.
