I ordered a shrimp platter which was absolutely delicious and bountiful in terms of the quantity of food. Service was excellent as well. I cannot remember the name of the bartender, but she was also the manager of the restaurant, and my har goes off to her, because she was juggling multiple tasks and a bit overwhelmed, and through it all she still managed to provide me with amazing customer service. We had a quick lunch out on their deck today. The setting is beautiful and on the main strip of Beaufort. I'd say the food is good. I split a cheese steak and it was good. Another of our party had a Reuben panini and wasn't all that pleased but he did eat all of it. The fries were an up buy and well worth it. The best experience was Kourtney. She was very attentive, prompt with her service and especially thoughtful and kind. My husband is 88 and at times needs support getting to the restroom. Today was one of those days. And she made sure we used the most convenient bathroom so we didn't need to use stairs and shooed the staff out of the area so we could get to the bathroom. Unfortunately many people don't "see" the elderly and fail to do the basics to support their experience. Came down from Charleston for dinner with a friend, be prepared to circle the block a few times looking for parking! Once inside, the hostess was lovely and got us a cute booth right away. The building used to be a bank so it has some really interesting features. The food is good but not life changing. Walking in and being greeted by the hostess with zero social skills was not what I was hoping for. This is also known for their Waterfront view. She never even asked if we wanted to sit out there. On the menu I saw $2 side of fries. Can't go wrong there. But when the bill came, we were charged $4. The waitress said "we just changed our prices". I could only smile and say "Oh ok. Maybe you should start with that when you handed me the menu". Justin's chicken cheesesteak was terrible. It was so blah. The grilled chicken on my salad was plain. Stopped in for lunch with family while in the area for my great nephew's graduation from Marine Boot Camp. Shrimp salad was subpar to say the least; overcooked shrimp & definitely not fresh. Chicken salad was in no way fresh as well. Old, dry chicken used in the chicken salad was inedible. Toilet seat in the downstairs ladies' room was completely detached (can you say "law suit)! I let management know. When I got back to our table, the guy literally walked right through the dining room with the toilet seat under his arm! That's just sickening! Full disclosure-we were bar hopping & snacking when we came here, so I can't say I've had the full experience. We came by early on Saturday evening after polishing off some beers and hot dogs over at Hop Dog and decided to get some patio beers at Paninis. There was a short wait, where we sat at the indoor bar before our table was ready. The staff were awesome and it looked like they all enjoyed being at work, which was nice. Once we were seated at the patio with drinks in hand, I took a look at the menu, which had we been in the mood for dinner, I doubt would have disappointed. We did order some calamari, which had an almond flavor to it, which was pleasantly different. Also- it had to be without a doubt was the biggest serving of calamari I've ever seen in my life, not bad for $12! Walking up to this place, someone in passing said they are really good, try them out, you won't be disappointed. Well, we did. And we are. From the exterior it looks fine. Inside is a while different story. Shift change maybe at 3pm? It was dark tired and dirty. Our server was sweet and asked several times if we needed anything. Yes, 2 plates would be good. Love the atmosphere here - casual but feels a little more upscale. Huge brick oven right in the dining room where they make pizza. The food came out piping hot and was pretty good. Great location, okay service, food was terrible. We celebrated Christmas here with my family since they could take large parties and had a little bit of something for everyone. The pizzas on the menu didn't show all the ingredients that the online menu shows. The Mediterranean pizza had no mention of anchovies and like a crap ton of mushrooms. Thankfully, the server asked about the anchovies so they didn't come on the pizza but the mushrooms, not a fan and certainly not that many! I ordered the River Dog IPA and the King Neptune pizza. Fantastic. Large pieces of shrimp and real crabmeat on top. Great garlic and oil base topped with mozzarella. My wife had a glass of red Cab as well as the Blanco pizza. No leftovers. I felt bad that we had such a great time, we didn't realize they close at 8:00 on Wednesday. I wasn't prepared to like this place since usually when you have an outdoor terrace to sit on near the water you go mainly for the atmosphere and the food is subpar I was pretty impressed with my chicken salad panini. It had nuts, chunks of apple and a really nice flavor. Plus, it was huge. I took half home with me. I'm usually not a pasta salad lover but this was probably one of my favorite pasta salads ever. It had a really intense lemon and feta sauce emulsion. No chunks of feta so don't be disappointed but the flavor was definitely there. If you're not a lover of a strong lemon and feta taste, it probably wouldn't be for you but I loved it. Just some pasta with thin slices of onion and that intense lemon flavor on a hot day outdoors it just seemed perfect. We live around Savannah so we will definitely go back again! read more

The bar is at front and made of pretty wood and the pizza ovens are at back of dinning - you can see them make it. --Extras: **seating: they do have out door seating over looking the park and water- great view * *parking: their is paid street parking which fills up fast then a parking lot a block or so down street in the boat arena - you most pay here to put its $1.00 and hour and you don't pay after 7pm I think or on Sunday's- feee parking further away in side streets **Bathrooms are in basement past bar- so far they have been pretty clean **it can busy on weekends and during lunch If you are in town and like fried shrimp go check it out read more

First of all, the ambiance sucks. We were a party of 8, and sat outside. There was no music, so it was so boring. Sadly, they don't allow you to move tables so we had to sit at the only big table in the corner furthest away from the marsh, so we didn't not get the view you would expect. The food was truly, aggressively, mediocre as hell. Not awful, but just so boring and flavorless. The only things I would consider good were the fries.
