    Lemon dill salmon
    Olivia K.

Service seemed to take forever and it was not that busy. Food was okay, not anything really crazy for the prices though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was nice for a big group though as we got a somewhat private area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lemon dill salmon was overcooked and sides were kind of lukewarm. The lamp chop special was way over cooked.

Food: chicken piccata: lightly breaded chicken with a lemon sauce. It was tender however I don't know if it is worth $26 for two thin slices of chicken. Nothing overtly wrong with the taste. Spaghetti w bolognese sauce: their apparently most popular dish as a side with the piccata. Overall good hearty tomato and beef flavor. My complaint here is it is way too oily. It was dripping and soaked in orange oil. Made me feel a little gross looking at it. Filet linguine: beef was tender. Spaghetti is nice and flavorful. However like the Spaghetti it is NOT light. WAY too much oil. Seemed like noodles were half noodle half oil. No wonder if was so decadent. The thing is i made it a point to my waitress to not have so much oil/ make it lighter if possible. If this is lighter, that says something about how much oil is used normally. Salad: nothing special. Taste ok. Dressing on the side. Arugula was good. House bread: soft, warm. Paired nicely with ddipping sauce. Service: it was obvious they were busy. My waitress tried her best running around different tables. She obviously was in a rush. Time from order placed to food on table greater than 30 minutes. 2 dishes. This seemed too long. Be sure to have lots of spare time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: old fashioned, nicely decorated, lowish lighting. Seemed fitting for the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ---- [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rich and savory flavors and heavy meal that you need plenty of sit down time for with nice atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    BBQ Chicken Pizza, Pollo Tortellini

Amazing first (definitely not last) visit to Loccino. We were seated early and greeted quickly with waters, even on NYE. We ordered fast and the food came out in a very timely manner. The house salad and bread were delicious. I got the pollo tortellini and it was incredible. My boyfriend got the barbecue chicken pizza and loved it!!! For dessert, we got the NY cheesecake and lava cake. Both were so tasty! Absolutely great experience.

I don't know what these people are talking about, this place was amazing. First of all, people are complaining about the price. My wife and I got calamari, a glass of wine, house salads, warm bread, each had a delicious pasta entree with some leftover and ended it with 2 of the best desserts I've ever had in the crème brûlée and the lemon cake all for $108. I will be back and I will gladly pay that for this quality of food. It was Absolutely delicious.

To start, the Amaro Soda ($6) offers a nonalcoholic, botanical sparkling beverage perfect for a hot day! The Wagu Beef Carpaccio ($24) is almost melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfect for sharing. If you are a bread lover, order the Sourdough Bread & Butter ($6). It is definitely carb-worthy!! Moving on to main dishes, I had the Risotto ($27) and my husband had the Paccheri ($34). The risotto was cooked to perfection and topped with a delightful roasted tomato/olive medley. My husband's meal was fabulous--I believe I will order it the next time O visit. Dessert? We opted to share one scoop of the Lime-Cucumber-Mint Sorbet ($7). This is a dairy-free option, so the texture is slightly grainy compared to ice cream, but the flavor was perfect for summer. The staff members were pleasant and knowledgeable, our water glasses never were empty, and the food was spaced perfectly. We will be back!

And get the calamari, the frise and endive salad sort of dwarfed the calamari but it all tasted pretty good. I got the ricotta gnocchi, this was by far the best bite I had here. Ambiance: I've never been to Italy so I'm just pretending this is what a small restaurant in Italy might feel like. Definitely worth a visit!
