Solid burrito! We usually doordash and it's consistently good. I got the birria super burrito this time. It was good, a bit dry but I added salsa ans it was good. We also got a shredded chicken super burrito and a BRC burrito. Definitely a favorite for delivery in the area. The salsas they give were good, too. Super delicious and we've loved every dish! Our family has ordered from here several times now and we're big fans. Some of the entrees we have tried have included the torta, super nachos, enchiladas, quesadilla, street tacos and some of the proteins have been pastor, Pollo Desebrado, Chile Verde, carnitas, lengua, and so far all have been flavorful, juicy, and fresh. Our food has been prepared in a timely manner and service has been good quality whenev we have done pickups. Parking was not a problem at all and the decor is fairly standard, but good and gives off a nice taqueria vibe. But the main takeaway is how tasty the food is. My husband and I came across this place via Yelp. Il had pretty hood reviews and we were craving Mexican food. The place is located in a strip mall and a little bit hidden but it is still a good find. The inside is cutely decorated with Mexican theme. We met the owner, Aracely, very nice lady. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and tended to us now and then which we loved! I ordered a sopes plate and my husband ordered a chile relleno plate, both very good! Picante is amazing! First and foremost, their owner is so nice and generous. I have ordered food here multiple times and probably about 50% of the time I get food, I am also given a free dessert of some sort; the last 2 free deserts were a Tres Leches cake and a cup of Arroz Con Leche. She (I'm assuming the owner) does not have to do any of that, their food is already good enough for me to keep coming back, but she does it anyways! I love it! Secondly, they are quick. Every time I order food, it is never just 1 dish, its multiple dishes because it's for my whole family. The food is usually always ready in about 15-20 minutes, sometimes a bit longer when they are having a busier day, which is understandable. Lastly, and the most important, their food; it's delicious! The food is always consistent, delicious, and fresh. I have no complaints. I just wish I can afford to come in more often (but that's a personal problem lol). read more

The restaurant was small but I love the indoor decorations and wished I could had time to take pics. The super burrito was one for the best I ever had. The food is AMAZING, but the customer service is really what keeps us coming back. We've become "regulars" at this point lol. Every visit is so pleasant! I rarely ever write reviews but this place is just not good. Insanely overpriced, salty and incorrect order. This will be the last time we ever order from here. We paid for extra meat and beans and got 99% pink chicken and no beans. The other burrito we ordered just regular and got 99% rice and no guacamole, and literally one piece of meat. They must be paying for reviews or something because there is no way they have over 4 stars with the quality of food they served us. Wow! My boyfriend and I have been searching for a new Mexican restaurant to try, and I'm so glad we found this spot. I kept my order simple with a beans, cheese, and rice burrito with sour cream. I also sampled both the red and green sauces on the side (for wet burritos) and they were both full of flavor. The coffee was amazing, so smooth you don't even need creamer . Service was excellent too; our waitress was friendly and attentive. The interior is decorated super cute, and while there are only a few tables inside, we sat out on the patio and loved it. My wife and I decided to drive out to Brentwood today we were craving tacos luckily the taco truck we were originally going to give a try was closed so we made our way to Oakley. We've tried so many Mexican restaurants and sort of gave up on finding a Mexican restaurant locally we truly enjoyed until today. I placed a pick up order through DoorDash about 15 minutes prior. When I arrived I loved the theme and decor inside with the music playing at a perfect volume. We ordered two taco plates. One was made with carne asada and the other was prepared with Chorizo. Araceli provided excellent customer service letting me know about their loyalty program and even threw in some free chips and salsa as well as extra limes that I requested. Once we got home we were in shock at how good everything looked. We immediately started eating and found everything to be seasoned to perfection and the plates were very cohesive. I enjoyed the spicy salsa that came with the tacos. The salsa verde was amazing too, but I love spice. The rice as well as beans that were topped with cheese were delicious and we loved how they even put grilled onions and radish to top it all off. Both taco plates were phenomenal my wife and I always rate the restaurants we try and we both admitted it was a 10/10! You all should definitely go check it out you won't be disappointed. I live within 5minutes from here and have always noticed it when getting some Willy's bagel at 8am but finally decided to try it as we wanted to find a location around here that has a good nacho plate. Fresh ingredients and the guac was just right. I also ordered the quesabirria w/ consommé but that got inhaled so no picture available. Both orders were delicious and I will be visiting again to try the rest of the menu ! They are a small business so I am happy to support them and the community especially since its location isn't too obvious (you'll know when you visit).
