    Carne asada quesadilla

Tucked away on Main is this hidden gem. Every time I come it is at 3/4 full, a sign of happy patrons if I say so. The mole is exceptional and I've had my share. It might be one of my top dishes here. My other half ordered the carne asada quesadilla and the portion was great! No shortage in portions at this place. Staff is attentive and the vibe is nice.

Their albondigas is amazing BUT they put it in a thin plastic container that melted into the soup! Come on guys! $18 for soup....you can do better. One small churro was stale and cost $3.50. Never seen a serving not be for 2. Taquitos were good.

We live very close to this restaurant but for some reason we always go further. Tonight we came and we were pleasantly surprised. It was fantastic. I had beef soup or caldo de res, my husband enchiladas and both plates were fantastic. Service was also great. Restaurant airy and clean and well decorated. Now, if they could fix the front to make it more welcoming from Main Street.

Nice little Mexican restaurant in a small plaza. They fix the food pretty rabidly and are pretty nice as far as wait staff. The food seems to be very fresh and the presentation is delicious. The only issue is for a wet burrito. There was not enough sauce, so it was a little drier than a normal wet burrito, possibly because they stuffed it in a very small container and did not want to overflow the container, the food still tasted pretty "freakin" good. The right amount of sauce would've made it perfect. Also although fresh, the meal was not hot As far as temperature goes. I requested jalapeño peppers which they forgot to add. Overall, I would consider giving them another chance.

What a cute restaurant! The smell as soon as I walked in definitely opened up my appetite. Phone ordered takeout and my order was ready 15/20 minutes later. Everything was packaged perfectly. Pozole (5/5) Really good flavor! Lots of meat and hominy. Perfect for that hangover cure! Chile relleno burrito (5/5) What a flavor bomb this was. Big filling burrito with beans rice and the delicious cheesy chile relleno Will definitely be back!

Good food and service! We enjoyed our meals and we will definitely come back! There's more on the menu tgatywe must try! Our favorite was the steak enchilada. It would've been 5 stars if the enchilada sauce was better. The pozole was very comforting especially with the chili sauce! The Camarones ala Diabla was nicely cooked and good as well but not a fave since the pther place nearby is still better.

WE HAVE FINALLY FOUND OUR FAVORITE MEXICAN FOOD SPOT!!! hands down, 5 stars all around. The vibe was chill and welcoming. We were seated right away by our server, Nancy. She was so sweet & super helpful w/ all of our questions about the menu. I like that i felt like we could talk to each other & laugh without bothering other tables because between the music & others talking we felt like we could just relax and truly enjoy ourselves. The prices are reasonable too. My husband and i got out of there for less than $50 (before the tip) which i feel like is almost unheard of when you sit down to eat at a restaurant these days, even for lunch. I ordered 1 chili rellano w/ a side of rice, my husband ordered a half portion of the pozole. Theres a spicy chipotle sauce that came w/ his soup that was delicious! The soup was already amazing but that made it next level. My rellano was exactly what i want when im craving chile rellano. Perfectly battered & fried w/ a delicious home made salsa! Just perfect. The rice was good too. I also like the fact that they not only give you complimentary salsa (which is bomb btw) but you get bean dip too! & Thank you to Nancy! You're service was what set the the tone for what was a truly delicious lunch. Tu Jalisco is lucky to have you!

The food was excellent, but Jorge's attention to detail was impeccable. On the day of service, we were greeted by Jorge and his staff. Our family and guests were served to their specifications. We asked for a bit more cooking time on the sliders and they obliged. What was great about Monica's is that you aren't up charged for the space. You are specifically paying for the food, which they cook as you go. Meaning, as your party eats certain items, Jorge and crew replenishes the servings of that item. That way your food is hot and always fresh and not sitting g out for minutes or hours. Along with the food price were water, coffee, tea, and soda. No one around can bet the price or the service we received. Thank you, Jorge and crew for representing Monica's Riverview to the utmost!

Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. Make sure the item is tagged for the right table and anybody can bring it out. It doesn't have to be the server as I know they're attending to other tables.

Although people post pictures of the food-- the menu is constantly rotating and changing on a day-to-day basis and a seasonal basis so the food you see might not always be the same menu. I really like that because it makes it a consistent date spot because the food is constantly changing and it's a new experience every time. The food itself was amazing because everything's handmade and farm-to-table. Everything is seasoned so nicely, presented, with super fresh quality ingredients.
