Stopped by near a carwash station and had their burritos and tacos. The place is clean and the service was very fast. We wanted a quick lunch and were able to get our food quickly. The price is reasonable and the portions are big. Will have to come back again and try their other items on their menu.

This is a cute little place with fresh food and very friendly people. Grabbed a quick lunch and appreciated it every bit. Decor is colorful and fun. Food was fresh and flavorful with reasonable pricing.

Just ok? Not great but not bad. Very mild flavor. I'm from San Jose so I guess my expectations for Mexican food are a bit higher. Small portions and over priced. But restaurant service is good and it's really clean. That's a plus.

The one star is for the super old carrot cake they served me! I actually love going to this place because they have good food and it's always clean and a very friendly place! But today, I don't know what were they thinking trying to serve us an old carrot cake that's super hard. It took them over 20 mins to give us the slice of cake and I was wondering what is going on and once it's served on the table and I tried to eat it I couldn't even slice the cake it was too hard! What's said is they know it's old and for them to even allow this kind of BS is sickening to me. I could have gotten sick from this! Honesty is the best policy in a business. They could have simple said carrot cake isn't available today. Serving old food will get you out business! Stop it! Never coming back here again!

Our son recommended we try the food here and it was good. The restaurant is very clean with very colorful decor. The young lady that served us was very nice and provided excellent service.

So we came back for lunch and this time we decided to eat inside. This place is very cute and quant. It has like seven TVs in there, so if you ever want to watch sports or anything, it's a good place to do that. The chips, salsa and guacamole dip were amazing, very fresh & crisp chips. The service is excellent they're very friendly, professional and attentive. I ordered ground beef tacos and rice and beans and my husband had shredded chicken tacos and enchiladas with rice and beans. Well everything was delicious so tasty and fresh. I love the flavor of food, it really reminds me of home. This is now one of my fav Mexican restaurants to go to, out here in Brentwood.

Average Mexican place. If you come here you will not be disappointed or highly satisfied. This place is brand new. We came here because of the opposite auto spa, as we need to wait a long time so why not eat! Anyway, first shocking thing is we went at noon, but there's no breakfast. For such a new and empty place, not breakfast all day (at least during daytime) is not a good idea! Anyway I ordered California burrito, which supposed to come with meat (which I chose to ignore), choice of hash browns or French fries, guacamole, salsa, rice, black bean. First of all, the burrito is hot in two sides and cold in the middle! Not a good first impression. And as I expect from this type of street side Mexican places, two much rice! This place also has an enormous amount of rice. Hash browns are not seasoned but decent. I couldn't find guacamole, but salsa tastes nice. They didn't ask me for choice of spicy, which is a bit strange and can definitely be improved. Finally a nice burrito should have stuffing mixed nicely, which in this case is not. I found salsa in one side, hash browns in another side. Taste is average, if I come to the auto spa again I will come again as I need time to kill. But I won't crave for this! If the restaurant management reading this review, spend some time perfecting the burrito, there are very nice burrito places like senir sisig in lafayette, which does amazing California burrito. Also in a California burrito, one expects avocado, come on its California!

It is just as important to consider how you feel AFTER eating somewhere as you do during the visit. My wife and I came here while waiting for our car to be cleaned at the car wash that they are next to. We ordered chips & salsa, fish tacos, and carne asada tacos. Service was a little slow despite the restaurant being empty, but our server was friendly and attentive. She brought us chips and salsa and told us that we could get other salsas inside at the salsa bar. The tacos came out hot and looking good. My fish tacos were tasty but a little too salty. I never really understood why so many Mexican food places over-season their taco meat. Speaking of over-seasoning, our carne asada tacos were drenched in marinade to the point where I could really taste the soy sauce in it. Of course, everything was flavorful and tasted good but we would pay dearly for it later that night, as I will explain next. The tacos dried me out so much that no matter how much water I drank afterwards, I was still thirsty. This continued into the night where I had nightmares and even into the next morning when I still felt dried out. My wife felt a little nauseated too. You can say we are sensitive people, but this doesn't happen to us everywhere. Also, there were some very fatty pieces of meat and some bone in it too with the carne asada. We thought we enjoyed the food when we were there, but realized that we did not once we left and returned home. We were probably too hungry to notice how we felt at the time. I think this place is cute and it has potential. The servers are nice and friendly and they have a charming vibe. Honestly, I would give this place another chance if they reassured me that they are cutting back a little on the salt and soy sauce and letting the natural flavors shine through. That being said, I would probably return for drinks and appetizers, even if I skip out on the food. Also, they should sell single churros instead of requiring you to purchase three at a time. I would have purchased one but 3 for $7 is a little steep. I just wanted to share one with my wife. With some improvements, this place could be great. I will wait and see.

Quesabirra tacos. See my review about these. They're amazing!

The plate itself was scorching hot--I couldn't even pick it up. It honestly felt like the burrito had been microwaved for too long. I ordered the Chile Verde wet burrito and had a similar experience. The plate was extremely hot, the pork was very tough and seemed undercooked for a dish that should be tender, and nearly half of the meat was fat. I also found multiple bay leaves mixed into the burrito. The chips were so heavily salted that they were practically inedible. I actually had to rub some of the salt off before eating them. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our waitress was very friendly and provided good service, but for the prices they charge, I would rather eat at places like Tu Jalisco or La Costa in Oakley, Guadalajara Taqueria, Taqueria Salsa, or Las Fodongas in Antioch.

Over the last 10 years or so , every year , it's gotten worse and worse and worse. With their last night with my family, ordered Carne asada tacos just like I always do and they were completely flavorles and the tortillas horrible. They changed the salsa..why i dont know? That was the only thing left there that tasted decent. If you look on their front door you can plainly see , they used to be really good with all of the awards for the last twenty years For best restaurant in Brentwood, I haven't seen any new ones on the door lately. If you order a meal , the rice and beans are spread so thin on your plate , There's only about three spoonfuls each. They're prices have gone up to just about almost twenty dollars a meal , which is absolutely ridiculous for the quality and quantity of food they give you. For a family of four, me my wife and my 10 year old and 5 year old, it came out to $87. I had 3 tacos, my wife had a burrito and my son's had pizza. $87!!! Plus now they include tip on every check!!! I know why... probably because they weren't getting very good tips. Because the food and service sucks, so now they have to add it to your bill so they get something out of it. And every time summer rolls around and it's ninety degrees outside , you go inside and the ac never works and it's always musky and hot and humid in there as well. I would recommend going to La Fuente downtown Brentwood, they give you 3 times as much food for half the price, and the quality of food is extremely better. Last night , unfortunately , will be the last time I take myself or my family to Jaliscos. I don't know what happened to this place, but they need to figure it out or else they will not be in business very much longer. Considering every time I do go in there , there's maybe 5 people total in the entire restaurant. That should tell you something. And finally... why I even went back to this place after this happened ... Two months ago , we were in there for a family dinner birthday , and I got down to the bottom of my chips and noticed that there was a roach deep fried with my chips at the bottom of the basket. I didn't want to make a big scene and tell everyone at the table. So I kind of just covered it up and sent it back to the kitchen when we were all done. Again, why I went back after that happened? I have no idea.I guess I've just tried to give these people multiple chances to get it right. But they just can't seem to do it If you like expensive flavorless food with very little quantity of rice and beans , this is the place for you.
