I've loved Piccadilly since i was a child & i've never been to this location - drove a little out of my way & im really glad i did because the ladies working there were INCREDIBLY KIND. This particular piccadilly, the staff is always great and friendly. I get my veterans discount which is always good. My wifes client had a hard time deciding on what to get because there was so many choices for him. He really enjoyed his first time eating here. read more

Food was great! I walked in and got a usual hamburger steak, and sat down. Waiters were very efficient, and the food was piping hot. My fries came out fast, my only concern/complaint was, I prefer to walk up to the machine and fill my drink myself, other than to ask waitress to do it for me. I don't like to have to wait to get my drink refilled by someone when I'm right next to it and can do it myself. Other than that, all is ok. read more

Years ago my wife and I would frequent Piccadilly in Baton Rouge on occasion for lunch. We stopped going. Today, while passing through Juban's Crossing we thought we would have lunch at the Walk On's but it was very crowded and had more than a 30 minute wait. So we thought about the nearby Piccadilly. Now I recall why we quit doing an occasional lunch at Piccadilly. I deplore restaurants that continue to serve Chinese crawfish- to add to it their "Southern Fried Fish" is from Vietnam! A fish called Sway. We are a coastal state and our restaurants need to support our fishermen by buying local. The manager told be they serve what the purveyor buys. Well change purveyors! After doing some shopping over at Juban, my mom and I decided to try Piccadilly out. I had not eaten there since the Covid-19 outbreak, and wanted to see what steps they were taking to ensure our safety. There were more than a few patrons there and you could pick where you wanted to be seated. If tables were closed off to maintain social distancing, I didn't see it. All of the employees were wearing masks, including the servers. As I glanced into the restaurant, I could see tables being thoroughly cleaned. There was very little time spent in line, and was able to get the food I wanted and was seated in close to 5 minutes. For my lunch, I had the baked fish, fried okra, carrot souffle, and a wheat roll. This was my first time eating the fish. It was okay, but don't think I would order it again. It was pretty bland, but this seems to be the way all the foods here are prepared. My mom commented that her food was not seasoned at all. The fried okra and the roll were good, but the carrot souffle was amazing. I could have made that a meal in itself. Total bill for my food was $14. We were in and out in around 30 minutes, which we enjoyed being able to do. read more

The food was just warm nowhere close to hot today. My hamburger steak was warm, my mashed potatoes were cold but at least my Mac n cheese was hot! I asked in the serving line for a jalapeño and also I ordered iced tea with two lemons they said your waitress willl bring your drink and your jalapeño. Well guess what ? No lemons and no jalapeño peppers. I know it may petty to complain about the fact that they had no lemons for the iced tea and no jalapeño's but I asked before I paid out because I have to lemon in my tea and I enjoy a jalapeño with my meal and was told that they had both items. Hey, I get COVID !! But I'm damn sick and tired of some places just like this Piccadilly location blaming their negligence or plain stupidity of not doing their job on Covid. Simply food, at a decent price. Better than drive thru and quick. The current call in ordering is efficient and the staff is friendly. Process is simple, call in your order, pull into a slot at the restaurant, someone comes out to get your info, exchange food & money, then You're off! Again: Full square meal is better than drive thru, so it's a win-win. read more

Old family fave wasn't what we expected at all. We decided to catch their breakfast. You couldn't beat the price. For under $10 bucks you can eat and drink. Plus side there is something for everyone. I really watch what I eat so I chose an omelet filled with the available vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and some of the fresh fruit. Let's just say the fruit was not fresh at all and was actually soft. The omelet was okay, but could have used more of veggies. My husband got a little bit of everything. Ended up getting more than three of items swapped out due to the it either being cold or over cooked. The server was very friendly and assured us they were working to get the kinks out. Food was great, service okay. One of the best Piccadilly locations by far. My issue is, my husband and I being an older couple and the store making people work obviously sick. We come in 3 times a week, religiously. We always see our favorite managers smiling face when we walk in. Today she can't even talk, still smiling still giving a loving touch. But obviously should be at home getting better. You think we would have learned our lesson after a pandemic but I guess money is more important. Just shame. After the previous manager's tragic passing, she's the only reason we still frequent this location. I hope she sticks around. read more

Piccadilly has always been a fast lunch favorite of mine. Opening week was organized chaos but lines moved and employees were all super friendly and efficient. Good selection of veggie choices and great desserts . Been back three times since opening and everything has been great. Keep up the quality and customer service and they will be here for years as Denham springs grows. read more

We go to Piccadilly because it is a bit of nostalgia--the Mac and cheese was my favorite as a kid. We were in the area and decided to give this Piccadilly a try for an early dinner. We were impressed by the ambiance (clean and new) and the set up of the serving line. There is a flat top for cooking steak fresh (2 steaks we're cooking as we passed by) and a couple skillets aside of the steaks and chopped beef. This would have been helpful as 4/5 of our party ordered the chopped steak and it was lukewarm at best, but it did still taste good--could have just used a little warming. The service was very good, and to follow up on a previous review concerning COVID-19 precautions, there were signs on tables that were not open for seating in order to social distance. Sometimes our server's mask would not be all the way up, but she otherwise did a really good job. We will be back and next time will ask for the chopped steaks to be heated. read more

Crayfish etouffee...horribly bland..no seasoning. Rolls taste like nasty yeast. Second piece of fried fish was decent because the first piece had a long hair on top of it. I have shorthair. Apple pie was pretty good but with a bill of $28 I won't be eating here again. read more

This reopened restaurant has the worst food I've ever had. I was raised on Picadilly and this is horrible. Crawfish etouffee is literally grey/brown and tiny crawfish - I sent it back. The fried fish is Vietnamese fish, no longer the catfish that is was. The pecan pie had almost no flavor. I did get other reviews that the hamburger patty is really good. The smothered cabbage was good but cold, the butter would not melt on it. Mac & Cheese is good too but beware what you order. This is NOT the piccadilly of the past. Eat there are your own risk - I will not be back. The employees are very nice, so I am giving it 1 star. read more

Let me start off by saying I forgot to take pictures because I met friends here and I was 10 minutes late. My 3 friends all were happy with their choices, but I forgot what they ordered. I ordered the fried catfish, a stuffed bake potato, fried okra and a dinner roll. The catfish was breaded nicely, was hot and cut thin (not too thin, not like they were cutting corners or anything lol) so the edges were crispy in just the right way. The okra was fried well. The dinner roll was fluffy and buttery. The baked potato was cheesy; however, it had definitely been sitting under the heating lamp for way too long. We ate just before 1 pm so the potatoes had probably been on the serving bar since 10:30 or 11, whenever they first set everything up. The staff was nice. Everything was good not great. Definitely not the Piccadilly of the good ole days. I won't rush back, but it is a pretty economical, reliable choice. read more

I can't even give them any stars it is so disgusting we ordered ribeye steaks and they had such a funny taste to them we couldn't eat we asked for our money back they were super nice and gave us our money back I suggest that if you're going to eat here do not get the ribeye and try something else their sides were not that bad read more
