Veal Parmigiana Hero (pretty sure they fresh baked the bread btw)

Veal parm hero, with well seasoned amount of sauce and fresh mozzarella. About 12" and FRESH baked bread! now need to try their eggplant parm. And chicken parm.

Don't order done here. A $29 veal dish only has 5 small pieces veal in it. The cold dish is also very small with unreasonable price.

Very good prices for a delicious very large meal. That is happiness in his face.

I finally found the sauce my Aunt used to serve at her Italian restaurant in Flatbush, Brooklyn in the 70s! Perfect perfect sauce! Perfect perfect meatballs. The food was piping hot and still warm even after we drove home with leftovers. The leftovers were warm! The bread on the table was so light and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside- they said it's the same dough as the pizza- the pizza looked fantastic. They had the classics plus some very interesting pies. The meatballs were so incredibly tender and the taste was so delicate- not too garlicky or salty, just perfect. Yup rated best meatball! The beer was so cold it exploded when the waiter opened it, he got me a new one just as frosty. The people that own this gem are so sweet and welcoming and the staff are so on point. Plenty of parking everywhere. My new favorite place.

It's great to have this family-owned Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. We've been going for years and the food has always been delicious. A few of our favorites are the rustica and Margherita pizza, fried calamari, penne del sindaco and Fettuccine Piccolo Sogno. The chef and staff are all very friendly. It's a cute little place worth visiting.

A neighborhood staple that we hadn't dined at in months. It's comfortable, the service is attentive and Chef Maurizio always comes out to chat. I had the special, Chicken Cardinalle, that was perfectly prepared with prosciutto, roasted peppers and just the right amount of mozzarella and sauce. My husband ordered Frutti di Mare which was also delicious. Add a glass of their house white wine, a delightful Pinot Grigio, and Caesar Salad with Calamari Fritti appetizers and it's a meal to remember...and enjoy the leftovers the next day

Piccolo Sogno is a quaint little Italian restaurant in the Auburndale area of Queens. We have picked up meals from her numerous times since we moved to this part of Queens earlier this year. There hasn't been a single time when the food wasn't ready on time, or wasn't piping hot, or where the staff weren't friendly and appreciative. They have been consistent in every area, and we love that about them. While they have an expansive menu, we have only ordered their pizzas to date. The pies are always light yet satisfying, tasty, and made with quality ingredients. The interior is quaint, so we look forward to a dine-in experience soon and trying out some of their tempting Italian dishes. Pricing is good for the quality and authenticity you get. Parking is available on the street, and they're not located on a busy thoroughfare or in a large strip of stores, so you generally find parking fairly close by. Come check out this family owned gem and support small businesses like this one which really need our support as we all still navigate thru COVID and it's impact on such businesses! I'm giving them 4 solid stars for now, with room to bump that up once we try out other items.

Tre Gioielli Margherita pizza topped with fried calamari, fried zucchini and fried Shrimp

This "little dream" tucked away in the residential streets of Auburndale was a fantastic recent discovery of mine. Of course, I feel late to the party considering it has been here for over a decade, and watching the string of customers in the know stop in on a busy Saturday afternoon. I was originally coming here because I saw they have a fantastic outdoor seating area in the back (Not in the front like most places have since COVID where you get to feel like you are eating in an open air tractor trailer). Unfortunately they had a party going on when I stopped so had to sit in their comfortable indoor section (Call ahead to check this if you want outdoor) Service was attentive, but a little "green". I suspected our server was a bit new since he wasnt familiar with the menu and he also brought out a bowl of the toppings for our pizza instead of bring it to the pizza ovens in front. Honestly this has been my experience in most places lately and it seems good help is hard to find. Even here they state they are closed Monday and Tuesday now due to lack of workers. Despite this the staff was friendly and checked in often. The food I found reasonable priced and top notch with selections not typically found in a neighborhood Italian/pizzeria spot. I was craving a pizza and the Tre Gioielli caught my eye because I don't typically find fried calamari, zucchini and shrimp on top of a pie. This worked great as an app actually - the pizza was a well made Margherita pie and there was a ton of toppings that actually tasted great on their own instead of as an incorporated slice. Grigliata di Insalata e Formaggio was awesome - I love a great grilled salad and this is one of them. The thick slab of provolone was also warmed it was really tasty (thought this was polenta for a sec haha). Linguine al Nero di Seppia Salmone Pesto is one of their pricier pasta dishes but worth it with generous amount of salmon and delicious black squid linguine. Can't wait to come back to check out the outdoor dining or for more of the delicious menu. This place hits that sweet spot between casual and upscale just enough to feel well taken care of and comfortable - so dreamy!

We checked out this restaurant based on a neighbors recommendation, so 4 of us went. Street parking was easy and fast in a residential area. We were greeted by the owner/chef -Mauricio who made us feel very welcome . Waiters , staff and owner was very attentive to our needs . Food was delicious . We didn't walk away stuffed or brought back any leftovers, so my comment was the portions were not large and I thought for a local restaurant, the prices were a bit high. But other than that we enjoyed ourselves. Their lunch specials looked good so we might check that out next time. Check out this local place. Ciao!

    Yes Penne and spaghetti

How would they fit a party of 14?

We did our wedding rehearsal dinner there and there were 40 people and they did a great job. Talk to them and I'm sure they will make it happen. They have the best food around.

The service was once again exceptional. The wait staff were attentive, efficient, and genuinely helpful throughout the evening. One particular server stood out; she appeared to be the tallest of the three women working that night and carried herself with the poise and awareness of a manager (if she happens to not be one). Unfortunately, I never caught her name, but she was incredibly cordial and offered thoughtful recommendations, way above and beyond what was being expected What stood out the most was her attention to detail and ability to anticipate customer needs. It seemed like next-level thinking in the context of a waitressing/host/restaurant profession. When discussing menu items, she immediately recognized that I preferred no spice and proactively addressed that consideration before I even had to ask. That level of attentiveness is uncommon. Many servers simply record orders as requested, but she demonstrated genuine knowledge of the menu and an ability to think beyond the transaction itself. (This attribute may be expected at some higher end restaurants.) Another example was when I requested that scallions and other greens be omitted from a dish. She immediately pointed out that other vegetables might still be present in the soup (from the base) and wanted to ensure there would be no concerns. While allergies were not my issue, I greatly appreciated the care she took to communicate clearly and avoid assumptions. Throughout the meal, she volunteered additional information about various dishes as a precaution, before we even asked (nor maybe even thought of asking). That level of professionalism and attention to detail elevates the entire dining experience. I know this was such a minor detail to bring up but the reason why I am calling this out is about the "experience", once again. Many of my past reviews were not just about how good food is (or the complaints) - but how representatives of an establishment become the core meaning of "dining". Yes, food is important, but the human element and interactions are also key. (who knows - pretty soon AI robots will be taking our orders, right!) Therefore, recognizing positive, unique and deserving aspects of a restaurant is just as crucial as the food output. Equally impressive was how the staff managed what appeared to be a very busy evening. The restaurant was packed, takeout orders especially the pizza boxes were stacked and in a line formation, waiting for pickup, and delivery guys seemed to be coming and going nonstop. Yet despite the pace, the team never appeared overwhelmed. They balanced table turnover efficiently while continuing to provide thoughtful and attentive service. It is rare to see that combination executed so well. Their efforts certainly did not go unnoticed, and we happily tipped above 18%!! The atmosphere is energetic and fun. With multiple screens playing nonstop K-pop music videos ALL NIGHT long (and I'm not into that genre), yet the restaurant feels lively and vibrant, almost like a weekend bar. Yet somehow it still maintains a family-friendly environment that welcomes diners of all ages. The crowd was diverse, and the restaurant buzzed with activity throughout the night. Now... the food spoke for itself. Nearly every dish we ordered showcased quality ingredients and bold, satisfying flavors. Even the fried items were executed remarkably well. The fries, for example, arrived perfectly cooked - golden but not burnt, crisp, and piping hot, with steam still visibly rising despite the dim evening lighting. Every plate reflected care in preparation and attention to quality. Normally, with the amount of food ordered, I'd always have extras to pack up. Well... not this time. Photos simply do not do this place justice. The combination of outstanding service, vibrant atmosphere, and consistently excellent food is what brought me back for a second visit, and it is exactly why I will return again, and again. Thanks for checking out my review!
