Tears in my eyes. Came to this restaurant from Ohio, and I genuinely cannot think of a better meal Ive had. I was here for a large event, and had a variety of foods. To start, the pollo alla zingara brought me to my knees. I have never tasted something so unbelievably flavorful and zingy. The roasted potatoes....HOLY!! Im asking the chef for the recipe. Called in my order and the person was extremely rude. Seems like he has no patience. It seems they have changed something with the cooking. The Caesar salad is way too salty and anchovy tasting. The penne vodka used to be creamier. Overall stars is deducted mainly because of the behavior of the person who answered the phone and the salad. The delivery person is extremely nice. I did not walk into Graziella thinking I'd be writing a review quite like this, but WOW. I've tried nearly all the greats in the northeast as per Dave Portnoy, and Graziella can go toe to toe with any of them! I had the grandma slice which is genuinely in the conversation for the best slice I've ever had, period. The crust was unreal with the perfect crispy and chew, the sauce and cheese complemented it perfectly, and I wouldn't change a thing. The margherita was also delicious. If I knew I was trying an elite pizza I wouldn't have taken it to go, but don't worry - I'll be back regularly to enjoy this local gem. read more

You guys use "SLICE." Based on the PHOTOS on SLICE we ordered a WHITE PIZZA with SPINACH. You sent a regular pizza with tomato sauce (which I can not have) with spinach. When we called, you guys said that the photos on SLICE do not always match the actual pie. My family and friends have been very very loyal customers for years and have even recommended many friends and neighbors to support their business but after today no more! Came in and was not acknowledged with basic manners to responding to my hello, thank you and please. Just ignored me and others with a bad attitude. I ordered a spinach pinwheel, a Grandma slice and a white slice. All were verrrry good. Especially the spinach pinwheel. I very rarely see the spinach pinwheel that much. Was told they have a good square here so I went with a Sicilian and a spinach pinwheel. The Sicilian was that classic NY Sicilian that you'd expect every decent pizzeria to have. Perfect sauce, enough cheese, and the crisp was good. The pinwheel did not disappoint. Spinach with plenty of garlic and cheese. It has been some time since I have been back here I kinda forgot how it was honestly. Drive by as I was picking up something near by and decided to grab some pizza and garlic knots. I have to say after grabbing a Sicilian slice and garlic knots I started to remember how I use to really like this place. Been back now a couple of time since. Graziella is a neighborhood staple... That has far surpassed its golden years. My reviews try to find the positive in places and highlight them. Most of my reviews push for a restaurants success. Not here. From start to finish I cannot recall a worse delivery experience in recent memory. I ordered the garlic knots, tortellini Alfredo, and the sausage roll. The only palatable dish were the tortellini. Decent flavor, but the sauce got quite clumpy. The dish was also cold when it arrived, but overall, edible. The garlic knots came burnt. They were dry, hard, and way too salty. I could not finish these and I regret ever spending money on them. The plus side though is that they are cheap- 6 pieces for less than $3. The worst item, by far, was the sausage roll. There no indication anywhere on the Grubhub menu that this was a "Sausage and Pepper" roll rather than just a sausage roll. Now, this would have been perfectly fine had the peppers not been almost completely raw. Huge slices of half cooked peppers, a glop of cheese, along with huge pieces of sausage, how exactly is one supposed to bite this thing? The worst part, however, was that the inside dough of the roll was RAW. It was spongy, wet, and pasty. The only decent parts of the roll were the flavor albeit huge sausage pieces and the outside dough that got nicely cooked. Otherwise, this was a waste of almost $10. I hate being mean to restaurants. People pour their lives and soul into their businesses. However, this just looked like a place that has either given up, or has just gotten so accustomed to their neighborhood fame that they have no more incentive to try as they would rather rest on their laurels. To top everything off, my order was a good 30 minutes late from the estimated time, and when I called to inquire, I was met with the most monotone and irritated worker I've come across in a LONG time. Bayside and Whitestone are both evolving in terms of their food offerings, from the breadth of new restaurants on Bell Blvd to the eclectic choices strewn across Francis Lewis, it's time for this place to face its swansong. read more

Upon arrival you're greeted with the traditional pizza shop vibe. Lot of deliveries going out nonstop but not many customers dining in. Service was prompt and to the point. The pizza on the other hand was mediocre. Still worth the trip to go out and try it out for yourselves. I haven't ordered since before COVID, and I decided to treat myself today - I ordered a large pizza and a calamari appetizer. The calamari ended up in the trash because the rings were tiny and tasted/felt like cardboard. I remember years ago the calamari would arrive as a mix of rings and tentacles, but now it's just these teeny rings which are hard as a rock. The owners are kinda crotchety and cold, no personality whatsoever. If I wasn't from New York and used to the grumpiness I'd go so far as to say they kinda prickish. But they make a decent slice. Will try again, but heat it right next time buddy. The main thing I find annoying is when a business tosses the non cash payment (3.3%) up charge to their customers. Had the chicken roll and a pepperoni pinwheel the day while I was at work. Thank God I was starving bc those were prob the biggest roll and pinwheel I ever had. Not only was the sizes big but the flavors and taste was big too, well very good. I love chicken rolls and pinwheels that the bread isn't too hard, like over cooked.
