I have been shopping here since moving here, and I love it. They always have what I need in stock. Every now and then, I go in on a random day, and they won't have something, but it will be there when I check again a couple of days later. It's easy shopping. We used to come here quite a bit for our weekly groceries. However, multiple issues every week make it a tough sell to continue shopping here. We have yet to have our receipt reflect accurate pricing based on what's on the tag/ad. We routinely will take pictures to prove it when getting a price adjustment. Unfortunately, that's getting increasingly difficult as they push heavily for self checkout which has just as long of lines as the manned checkout lanes. Always issues at the self checkout. There is usually an extremely nice worker at the self checkout that wasn't present today. Instead, I was chastised and told it was MY fault that my digital coupons weren't being applied. The worker said they shouldn't be adjusting any prices for me and sent me to the customer service desk, which has a sign up saying it is closed due to staffing issues. Why have an employee point me that way when it is closed?! I went to the second self checkout area where I was helped with the pricing adjustments after plenty of discussion and by doing the math for them. This employee also confirmed there was nothing wrong with my account for the digital coupons. If they don't work, stop pushing them so much. The produce and meat is okay but you can get better quality at surrounding grocery stores. The headache and inconvenience of trying to get the pricing right just aren't worth it. There are a few employees that I recognize who seem to be crushing it but that doesn't seem to make up for the others who seem to phone it in. read more

Date of visit: 3/20/23 I was not expecting much from this store because let's be honest, anyone local to Milwaukee has been to a Pick N Save and understands that they should keep their expectations low. So imagine my surprise when I was greeted and asked if I needed help by not one, but two people during my first five minutes in the store! I don't know that I have been asked if I needed assistance twice in my life cumulatively at a Pick N Save despite shopping at these stores for almost 35 years. Sadly, the customer service experience was overshadowed by a pricing error at the checkout. I had selected a bunch of roses right next to a sign that said $12.99 but they rang up at $15. I did not have time to flag someone down at the self checkout and get this corrected, so I just sucked up the loss of $2 and went on with my day. Chalking that up to paying very close attention to all prices at this store in the future! read more

This location has been here for a while now and every time that I stop and I try to check in on yelp it's not on yelp so today I added this location. I had some time to kill because Best Buy opens later than they used to so I thought that I would get my shopping in. It's like every other regular store that you have been to. I was making was making a Mexican themed soup today so I needed some pork bones, veggies, avocado with a couple different peppers and I seriously didn't expect to find the pork bones but they were in the meat case. The deli looked good with a nice variety of items but I only wanted a pound of oven roasted turkey for the weeks work meals. I ordered a pound of turkey and it looked thick for a pound on the scale and I was 1.23 pounds of turkey, really almost a 1/4 pound over so I said leave it and maybe I will eat it before it spoils. Overall I found everything that I needed but I can't believe that the deli worker failed miserably. read more

This location does not have tables inside like their sister stores, or the Metro Markets, but they did have seating outside, and on a nice sunny day (like when I was there) those tables work out great. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. WARNING: YOU are being ripped off unless you check your receipts, which I do regularly because I have been overcharged many at restaurants, etc. Every time I shop here. I get overcharged. $2.65 on 9/10. Yesterday $6.00. They do not put the correct price in computer even when in the flyer, especially sale prices. If I was overcharged this much, just think about how much money they are making off their customers!!! read more

I don't even know where to begin...sweet potatoes that were ringing up .70 more than their actual price and having it take more than 20 minutes to correct the over charge. We also purchased a spaghetti squash that night and it turned out to be dried out and molded inside. Two days later we placed a small order and an entire bag of avocados were completely passed their time. When I contacted them to ask if someone would be available to help us because it was late (I worked late this evening), the woman was short and snarky in stating that I would have to come in tomorrow. I statex that I had cut open all the avocados and by the morning they would be worse, so I wanted to know if she could leave a note that we were coming in with rotten avocados and she basically dismissed me and then hung up. Corporate called and was just as dismissive, during talking to the representative she ended call and sent me to the survey without helping me. I used to love this store location and PNS//Kroger, after this I will be finding a new store to shop at. Seems to be that as a company their products and service have tanked. read more

Somewhat typical Pick 'n Save, the produce isn't always fresh and the selection is limited. Understaffed, the checkout line can be slow and long. The workers here have always been pleasant to me, but they are always trying to do something else and I'm interrupting - there just aren't enough people on duty at any given time. Considering how little they pay out in personnel overhead, one would think their prices would be lower. read more

Stopped there to get vegetables for dinner. OMG, produce dept. was terrible. Their commercials advertise "fresh". This is certainly not the case. They only had 4 zucchini & they were old & shriveled. The asparagus was gross too. Why did Roundy's sell to Kroger? Since the changeover, prices are higher, there is high employee turnover, employees always seem stressed & unhappy, shelves are empty & there are no deals. I do the bulk of my shopping now at Meijers or Walmart. I've even started shopping at Festival Foods. Watch out Pick 'n Save because you are driving away customers. read more

We have used the online order for pickup several times and have had slight issues each time. Today, though, my husband arrived to pickup our order and was told there was no one there to shop it so it wasn't ready. We did not receive an email, call or anything in advance to tell us. Online the hours are listed as 6am to 11 pm. Since the store closest to me was close to closing time (it was 950pm) and the Bluemound Rd store closes at 10 pm I checked the website that shows the Mayfair Rd store is open until 11pm. Drove to the Mayfair store, sign on the door says open until 11pm however both entry doors were locked. I could see people inside shopping and noticed at least a dozen cars in the lot. Tried to get the attention of one of the employees but they just looked at me and walked away. Why advertise being open until 11pm and then lock the doors at 950pm?? read more

A 2 out of 5 star rating for this particular PNS. I would have knocked it down to 1 star, but their staff is the saving grace here. This is our neighborhood grocery store, located on a busy strip of Hwy 100. The inside of the store is a newer, or 'remodeled' store, and the layout is easy to navigate. It's the outside that concerns me right now. There's a lot of construction going on, and my husband informed me the left hand turn lane to get into the parking lot has been CLOSED - therefore, if we want to go pick up some groceries, we have to go all the way around North Ave. Honestly, it's easier to go to the Sendik's / Piggly Wiggly over on 124th, rather than deal with that crap. I realize this is not their fault, and I haven't factored it into the rating. What I DO factor into the rating : their produce department. In comparison with the grocery store I now do the bulk of my produce shopping at, it's embarrassing. Romaine lettuce - a particular type of lettuce that should be crisp and deep green, is limp and pathetically stacked, with the ends of the lettuce leaves dark and starting to curl. I've found a few slimy pieces along with a few bugs the last time I picked any sort of romaine lettuce up from this produce department. And that was the end of my romaine days at PNS. Now I go elsewhere. Tomatoes: what should be a dark red, are pale red in color. They last about 2 days at home before they start to shrivel and go bad. I only pick them up from here if I have to, or if I know they'll be used shortly (as in - that day). Oranges tend to be dry and have no juice left in them. If I wanted dried out oranges, I would have bought some from the bulk area. I think you're starting to get the picture. Produce tends to be hit or miss at a lot of Pick N Saves - mostly miss at this particular location. In addition to their horrible produce department, I do take offense with their forcibly "Roundy-ized" substitutions on the shelves. This was one of the spots I could always count on to carry my Starbucks ice cream - a rare treat I like to allow myself - and lo and behold - it's been substituted with the crappy Roundy's brand. No thanks, Chairman Bob, your ice cream tastes like shit, and it's more expensive than the Starbucks. Wha-wha-wha?? All in all I've started moving my business to other grocery chains, ones I can count on to have good quality produce. Yes, I might pay more than I do at PNS, but when I wind up tossing out have a head of lettuce, or tossing some tomatoes out since they turned a day after getting them, I consider that money saved. Ending on a positive note, their staff (at least the regulars we see) are super nice, there are a few people in particular we see on a weekly basis. They get 5/5 stars, because they are very friendly and helpful. read more

Wanted a fresh made fish fry as advertised on fox 6 news, deli person was very unfriendly, was told the potato pancake was not a side, no bread included and no tartar sauce.fish probably had been standing under the warmer for well over an hour.the front end service manage mgr did give me my $3 back for the pancakes, however i will never shop here again. read more

I shop at Pick n Save most often and never really have anything to write home about, to me groceries are groceries and they have just as many coupons as the next place. What surprised me about this location was how pleasant and courteous the staff is. I was greeted immediately at the deli and twice as I walked the store was welcomed with a smile, asking if I needed assistance. Normally when I get asked if I need assistance it seems forced and I decline, but this was different. I definitely will be returning here, as nothing stands out to me more than a positive customer experience. read more

The service has been consistently bad. The last few months its gotten worse. I usually order from the seafood department and the guy working there was bothered I asked him to do his job. He made sure I knew I was bothering him by asking for him to get me a few things. To make matters worse the check out girl could barely speak English. Well, she was fluent in ebonics if that counts. She was very rude and its obvious that customer service is not something they value. I will never return to this store. Anyone considering this location do yourself a favor and don't go. read more

Pick N Save is terrible. They continue to swap out good brands with very poor quality Roundy's brands. The gimmicky games like Fresh Perks are annoying. The produce department is horrible. I bought pre-cut cantalope and there was a piece of cheese in the container. I bought a green banana and it never turned ripe. The Roundy's brand water bottles continue to get worse and worse. They made the plastic super thin and now the bottles don't hold there shape and fall over, since they are crooked. Very disappointed across the board. read more

I try to avoid this Pick N Save because they typically only have 2 or 3 check out lanes open. To make matters worse, they never have baggers. So the person scanning the items also has to bag them up, which makes the process longer than it needs to be. read more

If only I could give no stars! This has been my food store since they opened at this location. It had a great bakery, produce, meat--everything I ever needed. Then it was sold to Kroger. Now they are always out of basic items. For example: Skippy Peanut butter. They are always out of it. They consistently are out of my favorite coffee. Need Pillsbury Pie Crust? Not today. Organic garlic (not the crap from China)? Nope. Can I get someone to slice bread in the bakery? No one works there anymore. No one working in the deli either. Meat selection and quality has gone down too. Their ground beef is so fatty I cannot in good conscience feed this to my dogs. So, today was the final straw. When they didn't have the coffee, peanut butter, garlic and other essentials, I asked to speak to the manager. He was dressed like he just got done plowing the fields in his old overalls. His response to my polite questions: "okay." And he walked away from me. I mentioned this to another employee as I walked out. Her response: "this used to be a great store." read more
