My dad has been going here for years, when I(daughter) got my first car problems he took me there, and its easy and simple! All you have to do is do your research on the parts you're looking for and what year/make/model will be compatible, ask the nice men/women at the front desk if they have any of those vehicles in their yard, and they can point you in the direction of where it will be. The vehicles are separated(by trucks/foriegns/regular cars like honda acura and toyota) in different areas so it's easy to know what your options are, the cars labeled with year make and model on the side so you dont have to go searching, and the prices are dirt cheap compared to most other places. Might wanna bring a mat to lay on if you need to get under a car bc its all gravel and, to be fair, its a junk yard so theres glass and stuff too. Overall, great junkyard, never had a bad experience and I've been countless times. Staff is friendly, and the inside facility is usually kept pretty clean for the amount of traffic and gunk it sees. Did you know? LKQ doesn't offer a standard parts warranty on their stuff? I see why, after an 800.00 transmission lasted 140 miles. I ordered online and there was no labor option as the supervisor said. Other companies offer labor and parts warranties standard. This will be the last time I buy anything from LKQ. Signed, a 31 yo shop owner who will not buy anything from y'all the 34 years my shop is open. And will be very thorough when explaining what happens when you order parts from LKQ, and how you are abandoned after purchase. Never, Ever buy anything from this place!!! It is a complete rip-off & a complete waste of time! I went to this place to buy a few parts(rims) for my van, I go in & ask these guys about the parts they told me they had them, I asked them, will they fit for my year car, they said they would fit, if you can find them, after they supposedly checked the computer & it cost $3 to look around in the yard(which is a rip-off in itself), so I go & spend two hours looking through at least 15-20 vehicles to find these rims, then haul them to the front, when I get back to the front, I asked again for them to check, to make sure that they will fit & he says, yes I guarantee they will fit your vehicle, so I go to pay for them, now I was told over the phone when I called them beforehand, that they would be $12, so imagine my surprise when he tells me they are $17 & some change, so I ask him, WTH, you said they were $12 & he informed me (which had not been mentioned anytime before now), that there was a core charge for these rims(which who charges core on some temporary rims) & I would get it back when I brought in the old rims & I explained that I was not going to be returning any old rims, which was the reason I was buying them in the first place & he tells me then I loose the core & the computer would not let him take it off, so I purchased them out of need & work I had already put in, I take them home and try to install them on the vehicle & they don't fit(now I'm really mad), so I take them back to this place & demand a refund & they tell me there is no refund & that it says it on my receipt(which I don't know anyone who actually reads their receipt after they make a purchase, but that's neither here nor there) & that's some snake way of telling you that you can't get a refund on what you purchased, so now I've been screwed twice, so they say you can exchange them, but you have to pay them another $3 to get back into the yard to search, now mind you all they have is outdated vehicles back there & I did some research before I brought the rims back & the old outdated vehicles they have do have won't fit my vehicle, it being a 2010 and the latest model they have is a 2005, so I tell them I want to talk to a manager & they tell me he's on vacation & the other manager is going to tell me the same thing, so I talk with her, she asked to see receipt & says see it says it in your receipt no refunds, then I ask for the owner & he's supposedly on vacation as well, so I'm told that I'm stuck with the rims that don't fit & out of $78! So far haven't been able to get in touch with the manager or owner about this, so I'm told the only resolve I have is to take them to small claims court. Therefore I tell you Buyer Beware!!! Shop at your Own RISK!!! My advice would be not to even shop with this place at all & avoid at all cost, because there are plenty of other junk/salvage places around and in an attempt to save some money I got F**Ked over. And if you look at it logically they are getting over b/c you do all the work, they charge you off the rip, if you do even exchange, they have a part off at your expense, you have to put in work to get off another part(more free labor), and after everything they will not give you a dime back!!! Even at other salvage/junk yards they at least take it off for you (they have people for that), & you can get your money back if it's wrong!!! Lesson Learned!!! read more

Look up your part and price let them know what part u have they will pick what ever they think it may be listed as and understandable long list of parts to go through u tell them them being honest most of them know what there looking at only bad time ive hard went in to buy water pump gm ls found 1 looked new took up to pay he said i cant sell that for price of water pump made me pay 15.00 more because it was bigger pump thought that was crazy water pump is a water pump dont say small med large a few employees act like they hate there jobs most are very cool they do work long hours and the place is open 7days week just dont like how if it new they can make it more money should be 1price like on there price list ive seen them charge more because its new but alright place to go get parts i go there all time and will still travel from spfld ohio to dayton oh still save money are junk are very over priced in my area read more
