We've purchased 3 CPOs from Voss (X1, X3, 4 Series Gran Coupe). No issues with the X1 or Gran Coupe, but after 2 years of ownership we ran into a phantom overheating issue with our X3 that traditional testing was unable to diagnose. The overheating was a difficult and time consuming issue to diagnose and get repaired, but the Service Manager Dave Duckson went above and beyond to diagnose and fix it. Dave was very professional, cared about us as customers and personally oversaw the repairs. Our X3 runs and drives like new and we will continue to buy from Voss BMW and have our vehicles serviced by them. Our advice to other customers is to be patient, trust the process and speak directly to Dave with any notable issues and he will resolve them for you. read more

I bought my BMW X3 new from Voss via the European Delivery Program back in 04. I have taken it back several times for service under the warranty and after the warranty expired. Every trip, wether for routine service or the one repair required has been a pleasure. From the service writers to the work preformed to the free car wash it has been first class all the way. As an example, today I stopped by because a bolt was loose on the passenger door. When I pulled into the service area, the service writers were all busy. The Service Manager came out of his office, asked what I needed, got some tools and tightened the bolt which had a special head, requiring a special tool. He even got some touch up paint to cover some scratches from where the bracket had rubbed when loose. No change and a thanks for stopping by. While you may pay more at Voss, it is well worth it in every respect. I will continue to have my X3 serviced there. read more

The one good thing about this place is the nice folks in the parts department and the techs who work on my cars. I am not your normal average BMW owner, I actually work on my own cars and only bring my cars to them when I can't determine exactly what is wrong and don't want to toss money for parts that may not be necessary or I simply don't own the tools that are needed because of cost. Like, let's say the AC. The AC in my 2007 was a little less cold than I remembered so since I don't own the machine/tools to capture, pressure test and reload refrigerant, I pay these folks to sort it out. The service guy was completely cold to me. I don't know if it's his personality or it was too early but he barely said a word to me? I tried to call him when I was on my way back and got his answering machine. I walk in and he's sitting at his desk, surfing the web and again... didn't even acknowledge me? I got and pay for my service. Nice lady at checkout asked me my opinion and I told her the service fella needed to find a new position at the dealership where he doesn't have to interact so much with clients. Maybe it's a bmw thing? Who knows. Like I stated, the pets department and techs in bay seem to know their stuff and I'd happily deal with them directly as they seem to get me? read more

I took my car for repair and the estimate was 3 times higher than other dealerships. I told the Service Manager and he said "take it somewhere else then" without researching why the price difference. I got it repaired at another dealer and they said some of the repairs this dealership said needed repaired did not need repaired. Don't go to Voss BMW! Bad service. Bad managers. Shady service and prices are too high compared to other BMW dealers! read more

I've been a long time Audi buyer, but have been dissatisfied with their offerings and customer service in recent years. When looking for a new car, I contacted Denise at Voss BMW to explore options and take test drives. Denise was more than willing to help in a professional, courteous, and no-pressure manner. This was very refreshing coming from the local Audi dealers and the other BMW dealerships. I ended up ordering a vehicle to get exactly the specification that I wanted (manual transmission, red leather, etc.) and received unprecedented help in answering my questions and with configuring my car. I take delivery next week and Denise has been in communication throughout the process to ensure that everything will be taken care of including swapping on my winter wheels and tires for delivery. Not Female Friendly I, a woman, took my BMW in for a simple tire change. The run-flat was so new that it hadn't yet been released to outside tire dealers: I had to use BMW. I called Tuesday and was given an appointment for 8am Saturday. Tate greeted me at 8am. Some 10-20 minutes later a technician looked at the tire and said that none were in stock. So I had to get a loaner. After about 50 total minutes I was out of there with a slight like-I'd-been-violated feeling, and I couldn't figure where it came from. On the way home the car strongly corrected back into a lane I was exiting, twice. I returned and explained to Tate what had happened. Tate walked down, called to someone, waited, walked back. After about 5 total minutes a technician came up and got in the car and looked around. Tate asked me, "What, Do YOU Want to do." (There was a definite tone: a slight pause after "what," an emphasis on "you.") His tone completely shut me down, which seemed the intended purpose because I did not say another word, and he did not ask me again. I don't know what I did to prompt him to say that. We were standing, watching the technician. Maybe I sighed heavily? After the technician explained that the strong correction is a safety feature to keep the car in the lane, I left. All weekend I thought of what I did to prompt Tate to act like he did. Nothing stood out to me, but this is what I imagine. I was a bit frustrated that Tate didn't take the time to introduce me to the loaner car, to make sure I could start it, turn it off, put it in Park. So perhaps when I couldn't start it and walked back into the office to ask for his assistance, some of that frustration showed, which prompted him to do something to invalidate my feeling that I deserve complete customer service. As I said, I don't remember the details of that interaction. The second time I left the dealership that morning, it was more obvious why I felt violated. Tate had lost his cool, nothing that the technician would have noticed, though maybe he did. For sure this time I was frustrated because I'd been there an hour so far and I would have thought Tate should be aware of features of the loaner so that he could have explained and saved me, the technician, and himself time. The fact is, I am the customer. If I'd been flipping out angry, OK, Tate need not be verbally violated himself, but that wasn't the case. It took me all weekend to analyze what I'd done to prompt him to treat me like he did. If he is triggered by such minor shows of frustration, then customer service may not be his best career track. I wonder if he would have reacted those ways had I been a man. This all could have been avoided. 1. Doesn't BMW have on record what type of tire my car has, so someone could check if one were in stock without me having to drive there? 2. Does the Service Department have an SOP for when someone takes a loaner? a) say to bring proof of insurance when setting the appointment, b) escort customer to the car and show how to start and stop the engine and how to put the car into Park--whether customer is man or woman, c) go over with them what they are signing, reminding them to fill the gas tank before returning the car. I received none of these courtesies. 3. If Tate and Gilles and anyone else who works with customers know the basic safety features of all loaners, that will save time and frustration on the part of the customer and the technician and, apparently, Tate. Perhaps he was having a bad day, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. But it's still important to report this incident, to make him aware. So I called Monday and spoke with Gilles, who said he'd have the Service Department Manager get back with me "probably not today, but definitely tomorrow." It's Thursday afternoon. Still no contact. This is poor customer service from Voss BWM. read more

Bought a new BMW from these guys and would recommend to anyone looking for a BMW. Knowledgable on the products and and no pressure sales. They also gave me a great deal, win-win situation. I contacted Voss Bmw in regards to a 528i. I had a conversation with Dave Lee General Sales Manager. His response is "The deal you are looking for isn't mathematically possible without a dealer losing about $5000. No dealer is going to do that." I replied. "you are wrong , not interested ,remove my contact info" . My response is legitimate as I have it in writing. Instead of not contacting me again Mr. Lee responded sarcastically by saying an I quote, "Yeah, you're probably right. I've only been doing this job for 18 years, and you've probably bought more cars than the 300 or so I sell every year!" This is now considered spam and very unprofessional. There was no need to attack my decision. Apparently Mr. Lee has an anger management problem. I was potentially a new customer. If this is how this dealership and Mr. Lee treats potentially new customers god only knows how they treat you if there is an issue or problem with sales, service or an employee. I would not recommend this dealership nor Mr. Lee to anyone read more

Took my X1 in for an oil change and found out that other BMW Dealer Service Department had not been giving me an accurate reading on my front Brake Pads. Had to put new Brakes on car. Am more than pleased with Voss Service Department and the Dealership as a Whole. read more

Even though they didn't have the vehicle I was looking for when looking to purchase a 2011 CPO BMW 328i. The sales staff have always been a pleasure to talk to. Once I did make my purchase some where else and came to them for help concerning a failing battery the service department was excellent! Even though my experience had been poor from where I bought the vehicle (MAG BMW), the Voss Staff treated my problems with care and great attention to detail to restore my faith in the BMW brand. I live one mile away from Voss BMW. My last experience with the service department left much to be desired. I was looking for another service provider if I wasn't satisfied, this time. I made an appointment with Brett. We spent time discussing the issue with my 135i. I felt comfortable leaving. When he called with the diagnosis, we discussed the options. Although I wasn't happy with the price I needed to pay for a special BMW battery, I agreed. Hey! You own a sports car, you pay. I will only work with Brett. Don't buy a car from this place. Customer service is terrible. Sure, you'll get a nice BMW, but when it comes to maintenance and service on your car... you'll be dealing with individuals who won't remember you, your car, or the problems you are having. You can take your car to get maintenance from them for the same problem 2, 3 times... (I did) and they'll look at you like they've never seen you before, and then they'll tell you how much it costs to fix. All they care about is finding more things to charge you for-- then getting you out the door. They're not interested in discussing the problems you are having with your car, or the concerns you have about your car. I actually called them from the side of the highway when my engine overheated. Called to tell them it was going to be towed to them. The person was rude and uninterested in my problem. All they cared about was knowing when my car would arrive via a tow. Voss doesn't know what customer service is. So if you are sensitive to that - stay away from Voss BMW. read more

We went in this past weekend because the new BMW X3's are out. Our normal salesperson Arron was out, but that was no problem as Denise stepped in and helped us and Arron out. I had called sales department because I was interested in buying a 2012 certified X-3 28i. I asked the salesman, who answered the phone, to give me someone who was knowledgeable on the X-3 which they were advertising. This vehicle was also listed on BMW's certified vehicle website. The salesman indicated he was the person for that, so I asked him if the engine was a 2.0 L four cylinder, or a 3.0 L six cylinder. He indicated it was the 2.0 L four cylinder. I challenged him on this because BMW's website was showing all the 2011 and 2012 X-3 28i's with having the 2.0 L. He put me on hold to run my question by someone else, and came back with the same answer. When I told him there must be a serious mistake because all the 2011-2012 X-3 vehicles I was looking at on BMW's website indicated a 3.0 L, he stood by his answer. I had to call BMW-USA Customer Service to verify BMW's engine listings on the certified vehicle website were correct, and the dealership was providing the wrong information on the car they were selling. I will never buy a car from these people...the engine size is a critical question which deserves a correct answer!!! read more

Do not go!! Had my 3-series there for a noise coming from the motor. It had 40k miles on it at the time. With only 10k miles left on the warranty I wanted this issue resolved. They kept my car overnight and called the next day to tell me that they heard a "knock" but they couldn't figure it out. They only hooked it up to diagnostic equipment. But if I put 93 octane fuel, that should fix the problem! What sense does that make??!! I picked up my car after work that evening, and went home. The next day, I noticed scratches all over my car. I walked the entire vehicle and they were everywhere. I called back and asked to talk to the GM. He was very rude, and told me that they run 100k cars through their car wash, so it wasn't from them. Not only did they NOT fix my car, now its COVERED in scratches. I never write reviews, but i couldn't let this go. Needless to say, Its currently at Jake Sweeney getting the motor replaced. I wouldn't take my lawn mower here!! read more
