I only go here for local community events and matcha pop-up from Meo Ca Phe. Can't you believe this indoor pickleball court used to be my old Planet Fitness gym? They keep the locker room the same way, including the shower room and restroom, which are all clean. I did have fun playing with strangers for a $20 unlimited day pass. Since I am new to this sport, the players were friendly in teaching me the correct way to hit, the rules, and the scoring. However, the courts are smaller than public parks. There are many times my opponents and I accidentally hit the ball over another court, the fence, and the ceiling. I prefer to play here for fun rather than in a serious competition. I recommend coming here for rainy, cold seasons, and look out for social community events hosted here, such as Pokémon dink, Christmas pop-ups from local vendors, and other holidays. Also, try Meo Ca Phe for their Vietnamese-inspired matcha and coffee inside the pro shop on Saturday. It's lactose-free and has a light sweetness of up to 50%. Fremont has needed an indoor pickleball facility for a while, and Pickleball City finally fills that gap. Pros: High-Quality Courts: Well-maintained with clear separation between them. Great Community: A friendly atmosphere with players who are genuinely passionate about the sport. Good for rec play: great for rec play during bad weather days. Pro Shop: A nice selection of gear and a great demo program where you can rent paddles to try out before deciding on a paddle. Cons: Limited Space: The biggest drawback is the lack of room around the court lines. There's almost no space around the court boundaries making it difficult to swing fully without hitting a wall or fence. No chance of ATPs Not for Competitive Play: Due to the tight spacing, it isn't ideal for serious tournament prep or high-level matches. Pricing: Drop-in rates are a bit high, likely reflecting the high demand in the area. Conclusion: A great indoor spot for recreational play and a lifesaver during bad weather. read more

I came to play as a first timer at Pickleball City. It was $20 since it was my first time here. This gets you unlimited play time and in and out access throughout the day to step out and eat and come back. There are 6 courts. You can join in either strangers or put your paddle in the slot to claim next. I really liked how every court was enclosed. It's nice not having to run after a ball. The only downside is that the fences can impact play since there isn't a lot of space on the sides or back. The locker room was really clean. It featured restrooms, lockers, and a shower area. Bring a lock if you plan to use the lockers. There is a private lounge space that can be used for events. read more

Huge advocate for indoor PB facilities and was super excited about this one. Came here for the first time but it left a lot of be desired and left a lot of disappointment in PB sense. Pros: - Courts were nice. Even surfacing and brand new fencing and nets - Juice and Drinks serving behind the reception area - Great customer service Cons: - Literally ZERO space around the courts. AT ALL. - You can't even walk around the net without squeezing through so forget ATP, forget running for short dinks, forget going after sideline shots, it's utterly useless unless you want to run into a metal fence. You can't even return big serves bc you have no space to back up. - The surface seems rough. Almost like concrete. - No ventilation. When it's packed, it's humid as hell. Extremely hard to breathe. Overall the place seemed rushed. There's extremely empty spaces to both sides of the facility that's unused aside from some Pokemon events where they let people setup tables. But this is suppose to be a pickleball first facility right? Then why cheap out on space and not give ample room for actual pickleball play. You squeeze the hell out of it to fit 6 courts where you can only play 80% of the game. Ontop of that, charging $35 daily play or $150 membership fee for that level of setup is highway robbery. The space should've hit 4 comfortably or maybe 5 courts. But I get they're a business so they're trying to get the best value for the cost but I rather pay to go to the Hub in Alameda or SJ at that price point. read more

Amazing pickleball facility with friendly staff. If you have any questions or complaints, the PBC staff will be glad to assist you. There are many happy players at PBC. This is a great place to drill and meet new people who share a passion for playing pickleball. The facility is nice and has bathrooms. It's heated during the winter and cooled during the summer so the temperature is always just right. I would highly recommend checking out PBC if you're curious. This place is focused on the community & friendly aspect of pickleball (which, in my opinion, is the best part of the sport). Indoor AC keeps the place cool. Spacious bathroom with showers and a HUGE locker room! The lines and flooring for the courts are also done very well. Attended their grand opening and dozens of people were there as well as a dragon dance and ribbon cutting. Many people immediately joined as members and started playing. Pickleball city is an amazing place with a great community. The staff are very kind and really know how to cater to the members. They also have a dinkmaster to help warm up prior to games. Another thing is that they give members to opportunity to try out new ideas paddles for only 5 dollars the whole day, which helped some of my friends decide on whether or not they are going to get it. Again, a lot of catering towards the members. They are super adaptable too because there was one issue with light beaming into the facility around 5 PM, but they addressed it quick and now there isn't much of an issue at all. The best part is that they host little pop ups and I can't express how nice it is to have matcha while playing pickleball. One of the owners is the one making the matchas! Come on now. I was a little hesitant at first since I thought it'd be a financial commitment, and I didn't know how often I could dedicate to make it worthwhile since I live kinda far away. But since signing up, I've gone a few times, and I've really liked the atmosphere each time. The owners are really nice and talked about the different ideas they'd like to implement and events to hold. There's already a little community of players that's developing and has been welcoming whenever I run into them. Was on a day pass to experience the feel of drilling my shots with family who are very good players inn this facility. The drill was awesome. Maybe simple games are okay because the place was tight and courts do not have enough room to create certain shots - actually limited to only certain shots- never the LOBS. Nevertheless, I'm happy that there's a place like this where you can drill or play (with shot limitations) during hot summer days/hours and rainy days. Last night, the AC was off. It wasn't bad cuz the night was a bit cooler outside. It would be a big plus, however, to have big fans installed at each post facing both courts like other private club sports. It was like playing in a big shipping container where there's no air. We were drenched in sweats- which, in a way is pretty good to melt those fats away. Lol! However, it can be a health issue with poor ventilation. You're breathing in everybody's breath especially those who are sick. Or maybe big stand alone fans along the walkway facing each court. A little inexpensive convenience/feature for paying members and for a packaged day pass visitors. Just a feedback and perhaps a suggestion worth considering. Thank you for your efforts in putting up a facility like this. I enjoyed my stay anyhow. For now, I'll put my rating to give way to improvements. read more
