I won my first tournament after a very long time with minor tweaks he made in a short amount of time! Looking for a sport for my daughter who had already tried tennis and was not very interested, we found Fremont Table Tennis Club around 2 years ago and wanted to give it a try. We also put our son who was 4.5 years then, just for the sake of it and he was not even the table's height at that time :) Coach Shashin is always patient with the kids and repeats the instructions as many times needed to make sure the kid understands them. Also, his dad Kuldip gives encouragement who is also a ping pong player and a coach. We are very happy with the choice we made. My daughter already has come as runner up in few tournaments. Above all, I see that she has gained a lot of confidence and sportsmanship. Both the kids love the sport. The place is small, but the people are very friendly. After couple of years, I got interested and began playing in the open play. I go there for open play, People are friendly. Place is crowded, floor area is good only for two table, they keep 5 tables. Most of the time during the open play, one table at the prime location will be used for private lessons, keeping the side barrier/coaching material very close to the next table. In effect the good two tables (with proper lighting and net) are not available during the open play hours. This restricts the open area to the two tables near to the main door with lot of stuff (like glass shelf with table tennis stuff for sale, refrigerator etc around). In short good place to play if private lessons are not in progress and number of players coming for open play is five or six read more

Ripped off can't even begin to describe how I felt coming here! My friend and I researched online for months to find a ping pong place that we could play some long intense hours of ping pong open play. Coming here seemed like the best idea since we wanted to eat some epic ramen close by and their website said they offered open play and that's about it. Once we came here we were already skeptical as we had to rent out paddles and balls, something that other locations would provide, but I suppose that's fine right? We couldn't expect to just get something like that for free. We paid for our open play and played some great games of ping pong, albeit cramped and without much space to move around. However, after only a couple hours, nowhere near the closing time of the center, the owner came up to us and informed us that "the average customer doesn't stay as long" as we did and insisted that we leave. Of course my friend and I would comply since we aren't the type of people that would argue over something like that to the owner, but what we did do was feel heartbroken and disappointed. Had we known that there were such limitations on what they call "open" play then we would have never come! read more
