We rented a car at the enterprise, a couple doors down from here and wanted to grab some lunch and we love Pickleman's. This one was no exception. The food here is excellent, and the staff is even better. They were very kind, friendly, and efficient. They got us in and out quickly and filled our bellies with delicious sandwiches created with fresh ingredients. This store is open and lots of people are having lunch here. I can see why. read more

Picklemans is the best spot to get a quick sandwich! We always pick this over any other chain sandwich shop. The sandwiches are delicious and most additions are free. We also love the tomato soup, it's great on a cold day. The service is always fast and friendly. 2 things that have changed that have made the experience a little worse than it used to be....1) changing to Grillos pickles. The old pickles were much larger and way tastier. I really do not understand the Grillos hype, they are bland. 2) switching away from Deep River chips! There was nothing better than getting spicy dill pickle chips to go along with my sandwich. Boulder Canyon is still good but not the same. read more

Broccoli cheese soup was so thick you could stand a spoon up in it; not at all like a soup additionally, it taste like the milk and it was spoiled. The half sandwich was mostly bread although the quality of the turkey was very good. I wouldn't go out of my way to get another sandwich here. Service was great place was clean. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to it. The pickle, however was very good. read more

Cafe that serves sandwiches, soups, salads and Pizza. You can never go wrong with anything that you get from here. Their bread is soft and fluffy. The pizzas are so delicious. They even have fresh baked cookies. I purchased the #6, which is the Asiago chicken sandwich. It was good. Tasted like a chicken Ceasar salad on bread. I also got a half of a pickle and a cookie. The pickles are so crunchy and remind me of the ones you get from the refrigerator section at the grocery store. The cookie was so soft and chewy with the right amount of sweetness. Staff were friendly, the inside was clean and quite spacious. My only complaint is i wish they had more locations. read more

I never knew anything about Pickleman's until this year and if I'd known sooner then I'd be a regular by now. This visit, popped in on the way home from work to pick up a sandwich for dinner. There's many to choose from, but I landed on the Chipotle Chicken add Bacon for the win. The entire process took about 10 minutes from the time I entered the building. Sandwich made fresh with my choice of toppings. Staff were very friendly too! I'm determined to try more of the menu because so many sound tasty! read more

First time here and so glad we stopped in. We had a someone that waited on us that was great! Walked into clean and friendly sandwich shop that had pizza, soups, salads and of course pickles! Very helpful and helped recommend the perfect sandwiches. I had one made with lettuce instead of bread that was so delicious!!! My husband had the Italian toasted- and he really enjoyed it. This place is THE BEST! I just got a pizza in like 20 minutes and it is fantastic. My delivery driver was the kindest guy too. We don't get Pickleman's often because it's not close. We got the Garden Salad, Asiago Chicken Pizza and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The salad was very fresh. I'm annoyed when I find brown lettuce. I recommend the Asiago Chicken pizza. The taste and crispness was awesome. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was good but it didn't quite have the spicy tang I was looking for. This place kinda reminds me of a Potbelly Sandwich Shop only the 2.0 version. The biggest difference is they have Pizzas! I got a Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. The crust was very thin and crispy with an oregano taste. My son got a BBQ Chicken Pizza. The sauce was a little sweet for my taste but not bad. It was a nice choice for someone who dont want a Sandwich. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich. It had walnuts and cranberries on it. I absolutely dont understand why it suddenly became cool to throw weird things in the chicken salad! It's a thing these days though. I did taste her sandwich after picking those off and the actual chicken salad was very good. I would recommend this place if your looking for something quick and easy. The biggest thing this location needs. Is help with leadership. It was three teenagers that were stumbling over each other and not one stepping up. Two stood there and watched the one try to prep orders for five people. I would have given them a four star had it not been for that and how long we stood there watching the one young lady trying to get our orders going. While the other two joked and laughed. Buffalo and BBQ chicken pizzas are 12/10. Excellent ranch dressing & I have a tough test to pass for ranch. Salads are amazingly customizable and filling. Fruited chicken salad is delish as a side. 10/10 on delivery service. read more

Hubby had a doctors appointment near by. I was checking yelp for good nearby restaurants. Went to Pickleman's and it was really busy. We ordered Chicken Asiago sandwich and the Italian club. Needless to say...the first bite we just looked at each other with disdain! Both trying to figure out how we were going to come back all the way from Illinois! It was awesome! Employees extremely friendly and hard working. We will figure out a way to make it back soon! The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because its ala cart and probably needs to add some "value meals". Even if it's the same price... it kinda makes it feel like your getting a deal. read more

There are so many great sandwich places in the area that I had eaten at Pickleman's so long ago I didn't remember. Craving something different I decided to try Pickleman's again and I was so glad. The sandwich I chose was Chicken Giardineria sandwich and it was delicious! The bread was not too toasty, it kept its shape and crispness in order to hold the sandwich together, but was not so crisp that I couldn't chew it. I found the flavors to be a mark above some others and above all it was fresh! The staff were kind during the process of ordering and paying etc... and in all this was a very positive experience. I would definitely eat here again. read more

I ordered the cafe club on wheat and it is one of the best clubs I have had in awhile delivered. What I really appreciated is that they had nutrition info on their website. So many places do not break down the nutrition info into as much depth as they did. They had grams of unsaturated fat, protein, sodium, and more. They also had the different nutrition facts for the different types of breads. They serve sandwiches, salads, and even pizzas! Not expensive for the quality. Pickle man's Café is next to where I work. Ok that confession is now out for the world to see. This is the first time I ever came here. One of my Yelp friends Ben S. wrote a review and it kind of made it to the front of my mind Paul you need to get here. So I came I saw I ate. For my lunch I ordered the Italian sub combo. Which came with beef, pepperoni, mozzarella on a toasted whole wheat bun. I asked for it loaded which meant peppers, onion, lettuce and tomatoes where also added. What a disappointment! I tried this place after seeing such great reviews but the experience fell way short of what others have mentioned. II ordered two items - veg sandwich and veg pizza. There were no good quality ingredients in both of those items. The pizza was loaded with really poor quality black olives and the cheese used was less than desirable. The only saving grace was freshness of the bread used for sandwich. There was nothing gourmet about the food. And yes, i paid for ketchup because it is not complementary. I recommend Pastries of Denmark which is 1.5 mil from here. They give you a better deal with sandwiches and soups. read more

There is some outdoor seating, though this location is at the edge of a somewhat crowded parking lot on Ballas, so I might suggest eating inside if you can find a table, or taking it to go. I appreciated the detailed pickup instructions when ordering online. I knew exactly where to go to find my order. It was hot and ready when they said it would be (less than 20 minutes after ordering) and it traveled well back to the office. Yum!

A few picnic tables and a cart with condiments and such. We each took our turn in line and then grabbed a table to eat. The orders were prepared quickly and soon we were all enjoying our sandwiches. I got the roast beef on white toasted. No cheese, no butter, just plain. I wasn't sure what to expect based on white bread, but it was a typical sandwich roll. I wish I would have asked if they had au jus because it did need something. I got some giardiniera and that added some heat but I think au jus would have been best. The roast beef was plentiful and had a great flavor, I was pleasantly surprised.

I loved the spicy sauce that was used to make it hot chicken and somehow it didn't make the sandwich soggy at all. The slaw was more of a vinegar base, so it didn't weight it down with a heavy creamy flavor. Also the pickles were heavenly and I want to eat them on EVERYTHING. Moving onto the handcut, double fried fries. They were crispy and such a delight to see on a food truck, as far too often you get sad, pre-frozen fries. The fries are what I would go back for since they were really the best part of the meal. The chicken sandwich was just okay for me. I think the flavor was lacking, but the chicken was moist and the breading was crunchy; I just wish it had a little more flavor. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken and said that it was just not as hot as he had hoped. This is a good option for a food truck and I would go back to order again in hopes that the flavor would be better next time!

The menu is plentiful and has so many different sandwich, and salad options to choose from. I was contemplating between the chicken bacon ranch wrap and the Cubano. I opted to get the cubano. My sandwich came with slow roasted pork, ham,Swiss cheese, deli mustard and pickles. I got mine on white bread. They put the sandwich in the oven to warm it up and melt the cheese, then gets dressed in what ever toppings you want. I chose to keep mine as is. The pork needs a little more seasoning, but over all, it was delicious. The meat was very tender, bread was so fluffy and soft. The deli mustard was not too tangy. I also grabbed a lemon cheesecake cookie. It was soft, chewy and had cheesecake pieces incorporated into it. I would definitely get that again. Plenty of seating inside and seating on the patio. It is noisy inside so if you're looking for a quieter place, i would take my food to go. The parking lot can become busy and congested due to it being in a plaza with other businesses. I will be back to try other sandwiches!

My co-worker ordered both the eggnog shake and went back before we left to order the banana pudding shake which he stated tasted exactly like pudding and enjoyed that shake over the eggnog. Not a single miss. The biggest standouts were the lavender yuzu berry cookie and the berry trio walnut bread. The cookie was incredibly well balanced -- floral, citrusy, and not overly sweet -- and easily one of the best cookies I've had in a while. It's also a pretty large cookie, so good for sharing... or not The berry trio walnut bread had great structure despite being packed with nuts and dried fruits -- really thoughtfully baked and especially amazing toasted. Overall, Foundry is a really great bakery. Absolutely worth the drive to try something new, and I'll definitely be coming back.

The signature Chuck's sauce that came with the meal tasted like a combination of barbecue sauce and honey mustard. It was actually pretty good and surprised me. I was a little disappointed that they don't offer regular honey mustard or barbecue sauce as separate dipping sauce options. I also ordered honey as a dipping sauce for both meals, but I only received one small packet of honey for all eight chicken tenders. One packet simply isn't enough for that much chicken. This location is next to Cecil Whittaker's, and both restaurants share the same front counter employee, although each has its own pickup window. There is no indoor seating, so this location is pickup and delivery only. Overall, I really enjoyed the chicken and would definitely order it again. Next time, though, I'll double-check that I receive enough honey and that a "no spice" order truly comes with no spice.
