The most magical experience I could ever recommend! I booked Picnic Potential for my best friend's bachelorette weekend, and we had our setup at Kendall Jackson Winery--which was already breathtaking on its own, but Alison's picnic made it even more special. From the very start, working with Alison was a dream. She's so kind, attentive, and incredibly quick to respond, which made planning our full weekend itinerary so much easier. We chose the "pink and yellow" palette, and it couldn't have been more perfect--playful, girly, and summery, exactly what I envisioned for our theme. Alison went above and beyond in every detail. When the bride walked up to see the picnic, she was so overwhelmed with joy she actually started crying! It was the sweetest moment, and she kept saying she couldn't believe something so beautiful had been created just for her. The Picnic Potential team is a bunch of ninjas! They did a beautiful job decorating a redwood grove for my birthday party, with tablescapes and flower arrangements that guests are still commenting on a week later. The efficiency with which the decorations were installed and removed was remarkable. At the end of the party, before I finished saying good bye to the last guest to leave, the ninjas were cleaning up the grove and it looked like we'd never been there. WOW Picnic Potential, did not disappoint!   We used Alison and her team at Picnic Potential for our 1 year old's small birthday picnic and cake smash and while I've managed and orchestrated a lot of events/weddings in the past (my own and was a wedding coordinator for ~5 weddings in the past as well as baby showeres, etc.) I had been dealing with some family stress and just needed the extra help to get this one to done and I am so thankful I did as everything turned out even better than I imagined, I cried when I first saw the set-up!  It was magical! I reached out to Alison via their packages page ( https://www.picnicpotential.com/packages) which depending on what you select has you fill out a specific form and before I knew it, Alison was off and running even helping to confirm location details!  We did hit a couple snags with our planned location - not Alison's fault at all - the location we had planned they had set up before but the original planned location was no longer available as it had some construction done and Alison was flexible as we had to spend a little more than then expected to find a backup spot which thankfully ended up even better than our original planned location!  They set up a picnic area for us as well as a separate cake smash area. It may be important to note that you need to have any separate areas within eyesight and/or have multiple people - each responsible for one area - as you need to ensure that their decor items are watched as they are your responsibility during your picnic. Pros: * They offer a pretty comprehensive picnic offering including a tablescape, table, flatware, utensils, and cups were all included (if needed).  She even had asked about other servingware. * There were many upgrade options to customize a unique setup as well as to make it more one and done, they even have food offerings!  Alison was fantastic in that she took some basic feedback and ran with it to make a very beautiful event.  She even offered to buy a different color linen to better match our planned them, just extending the cost to us. * There were so many extras they added that made it BEYOND what I could have ever hoped for, signage saying Happy Birthday, and others at no additional cost. * We paid for upgraded flowers, the addition of a cute bohemian tent, and umbrellas that added to the overall vibe. * Alison is very well experienced, we were having a photographer and she called out the concern of lighting based on our time of day and had a lot of great recommendations based on umbrellas/etc to help address that.  She brings a lot of value to this that is way beyond what I could have hoped for talking to me about a number of things that I hadn't considered as someone that is experienced, yet a little bit rusty, on social event planning. * Danielle did an amazing site setup based on our vision and inputs from Alison about our event. * Friendly team, accessible to answer questions are refine details. * You get a high value for what you pay! Cons: * There were a couple small hiccups which happens in coordination of any event, they are not even worth mentioning they are so minor. Wish: * One wish I had is that they had a food offering for younger children that considered baby led weaning and food recommendations for young children, we made our own snack board since we had a 1 year old and obviously they can't eat much of what's on standard charcuterie boards. This is an important milestone event for any family, I had a specific max dollar figure I felt comfortable spending and that's were their estimate came in at, that said for everything we got, plus the level of service I honestly am amazed they can do everything they did for the price we paid.  But I think they have struck the balance on what people really can rationalize for these types of activities and how much bang you get for the buck! I can't wait to find another excuse to use Picnic Potential again, and I would say if you are considering using them, do it - I don't think you can go wrong!  I would have loved to use this for my wedding and pre-wedding activities but alas I got married in the pre-Etsy era.  Their services would be great for anything from holiday parties, kid or adult birthday parties, corporate events, small family get togethers, large family get togethers, anything you want to have someone else take the decor load off of you that involves some sort of picnic element or not, as they are really offering a decorating service in many ways!  Love, love, love them! read more
