I came here because several people recommended it as a good place for beginners to practice golf. While I can see the appeal of the shorter layout for new golfers, I was disappointed with the overall condition of the course. A few holes were not maintained very well, and some areas looked neglected, which took away from the experience. I understand this is meant to be a beginner-friendly course rather than a high-end golf facility, but for about $22 for 9 holes, I expected better course conditions. With a little more attention to maintenance and upkeep, this could be a great place for beginners to learn and enjoy the game. I hope the course receives more care in the future. read more

The greens are all bad and mixed with different grass and bumpy and insane divots all over the place the fairways are all just rough all over that's about 5 inches high. The course just needs a lot of love and care and improvement. read more

Last second twilight golf is always a chill time with friends. Got a bar feel at the club house with cornhole and music blasting. Not the usual, but seemed chill, good vibes started off strong but ended quick after the first hole. First hole was promising, but onward....it seemed to be the only maintained hole? Greens were unplayable. Fairways were full of divots and gopher holes. You could easily sprain your ankle if you're not careful. I wouldn't bring a beginner here, you may think a new beginner could still have fun here and practice before attempting a big course but this would probably discourage them from ever playing golf again. The moment the ball lands, it's not rolling... it will sit in a hole/divot. Used light up LED balls, bc didn't want to lose a ball. The course lighting was good enough...but still lost the LIGHT UP LED ball into a deep gopher hole. Nice wild life here, frogs and ducks in the water features and pack of coyotes howling in the not so far distance...after your tee off. The other golfers I did interact with weren't exactly friendly...Maybe not their fault?.. maybe they were as disappointed as I was. Kind of a bummer. I used to come to this course quite a bit a number of years ago with my friends after work. The place had a nice vibe and a polite staff and they didn't play obscenity filled garbage music in the clubhouse it was so awkward my son and I are waiting to pay for are round , and there's some older senior golfers at the counter and the place is blaring this music every other word was the F WORD it was like watching someone swear around my grandma . I don't know maybe they're trying to shut this place down to build more houses. I don't think I'll go back here after what I saw today. read more

Lighted par 3 executive course. $15.50 for a round. The greens were not really playable, but for a beginner like me that is working on my long game anyways it did not really matter. It was nice that there was no one playing behind us so I can some extra reps in during play. They also had a driving range which I did not use at all. read more

I went on Saturday early afternoon to hit balls on the range and of course they didn't have any balls available. The kid behind the counter said he was the only one working and there was no one to collect the balls. This has happened several times. Very Disappointed. read more

I've never felt so uncomfortable. The cook here is visibly making other customers feel the same! His energy is disgusting and distracting! I'm just requesting that appropriate disciplinary action be taken and that clear expectations around conduct and food safety are reinforced. I have shown up at least four times trying to make this a regular spot in my routine to work on my swing and this place has to be incompetent and unreliable for the quality golf course/driving range. Went to the driving range yesterday and enjoyed it. It was my first time ever here, the staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable. Paid for my bucket of ball and two waters, great price point. I went at midday and the range only had 3 other people and it was a great vibe. I'm going back after I come back from vacation and play a round of 9 holes. It's close to home and has nice amenities. This place used to be great! As of recently it's been dead and the other day I noticed something that will never make me return! The cook in the back is RUDE ASF! He was complaining about cooking our food and right in front of us along with saying some inappropriate things to the staff and again right in front of us. He smokes cigarettes and goes back to work touching everyone's food with no gloves or even washing his hands after. I hope they can change cooks to someone who actually wants to work there so their customers can enjoy themselves instead of feeling like a burden. read more

This place has gone downhill in the past year or so. It used to be a fun place to come, have a couple drinks and laugh with friends. Now, the drinks at the bar are expensive. The grounds are dirty all of the time. It just seems like they stopped caring about the image of the place. The common area (as soon as you walk in) is always full of goose poop and trash, the signs are falling apart, the restrooms run out of toilet paper and paper towels, the staff doesnt greet you (except for Sean, he is always great to us),Managers and staff walk right by us with their heads down. The "personality" left this place a while ago. Its the "little things" that count. Graffitti in the parking lot. I can go on and on. Up until about a year ago we used to come every single week. Absolute garbage of a golf course. Perhaps sub par for beginners with no clue what they're getting into. Staff is as good as the gum on my shoe. I arrived at 6:30pm after work on a Thursday to use the golf range, to find out its closed. I asked the staff what time the range usually closes he responded smirkily "7:30pm when we stop giving balls out but we're just going to close it for the night since we don't have any balls." I've been here numerous of times and had to wait 30min while other golfers end up leaving because they've been waiting longer. Visit the range and I bet you'll see people at the mats not hitting any balls just waiting and praying for a ball boy to come out. You mean to tell me you guys close at 9pm, and can't get enough balls off the range for the average golfer to purchase a Large bucket. This used to be a great little course. But the recent changes have really ruined this gem. They removed one of the funnest holes # 6 and made 2 short par 3s out of the 5th and didn't even try to make some decent greens for them. We were riding our bicycles along the San Gabriel river path and made a pit stop to enjoy a drink from the bar. You can sit inside on bar stools but we sat in the patio area in the shade. The atmosphere is not fantastic but it will do for a quick pit stop. We were enjoying some of the bad golfing while we drank and chatted away. read more

A 9 hole par 3 course with serious skill needed to make your day great on the scorecard as the fairway is narrow on some holes making any slice left or right bad for anyone to lose their pars. The price here is definitely great and affordable for playing. There are a couple false greens that can make your putting more challenging. The wildlife here really run the show making every step you take a caution as the birds, ducks, etc. leave they business anywhere lol. But it's not overwhelming to where it's in the way of fairway play. Good practice course overall for new and experienced players. Will be back for sure to conquer the next round with a better score. read more

My girlfriend and I came in for 9 holes and it went by smoothly, the greens aren't in the best shape but the grass that is there is live and vibrant, and the environment smells clean and almost like you are in a park, the atmosphere is beautiful. The price was not what i expected, i expected around $20 a person but it was over half that, $8 a head if you are a pico resident. After my round, I had went into the bar where I met the spectacular bartender, Sean, who greeted us with excitement and enthusiasm. He gave us a thorough review the selection of alcohol and liquor that they provided and made us right at home like we were at a friend's house. Recently attended a wedding here, during the ceremony the mic kept going out, and there was still golfers around in the background. The dinner provided by through the establishment was actually good. Although I did not take a dinner roll as the server was wearings gloves but was not using serving tongs to pass out rolls. I witnessed het touching her face & other things without switching her gloves out. It was not an open bar, and they are strict about bringing outside alcohol and confiscated alcohol. They made us feel like we were in school again. For the wedding they had brought the unlimited drinks for sodas, water etc, but then the staff is complaining saying that we were gonna have to start paying for the sodas. We also heard them complain about how much soda we were going through, remind you this wedding had over 120 guests. I would personally not have my wedding here, nor would I want to attend another wedding here. Overall the newly weds still had a great night! read more

I just got off work so I wanted to hit the range real quick. I show up and they tell me they are out of golf balls to come back in 15 minutes. I go to the putting green and come back in 15 minutes and just so they can tell me they sold out of balls again. What kind of Mickey Mouse operation are you guys running. You definitely get what you pay for here. Low prices for low maintenance performed on the course. Most fairways are barely green, rough is either dying grass, dead grass, or dirt. Major downside for this course is that you're required to tee off from mats on all holes - the pro told me today that it's because it's expensive to maintain grass tee boxes due on a small 9 hole course w/ la small maintenance team; I've played similar courses that have decent grass tee boxes and only had to pay half of what this course charged (one nearby example: Glen Oaks GC in Glendora). Upside: Course layout flows well and 20 foot tall fences protect each tee box from the previous holes tee shots. Driving range is mats only and half of the distance markers posted on each stall either weren't in place or didn't include the color flag to know which was which. Prices for buckets were a couple dollars less than most ranges. Upside for driving range: the pro shop sells rubber tees for $1 so you can have your own personal tee each visit; that will definitely come in handy at other ranges too. All staff members are super nice and helpful. All in all a decent enough course to work on your short game, if you don't mind having to tee off from mats and don't want to drive farther for a better setup. read more

I grew up playing this course as a kid. And enjoying night golf after work. But this course has seen way better times. At least 3 of four greens were unplayable. I don't mind getting out here for a quick around the fun. But the course conditions should at least give you more enjoyment, then frustration. We asked to speak to management just to be told there's nothing we can do that's a maintenance issue. I ask for a refund and they say we can give you a free round of golf. no one wants to go back to this piece of junk. we get it, renovations happen but there's holes the size of caves and the crappiest greens here.
