    Range balls...

I have never been on a range with this many dead golf balls. A large bucket is also $18... Been coming here for 20 years and this is the worst the range balls have ever been... Over half the range balls are absolutely worn out and dead..

Tried the buffalo wings today. So bomb!

So we were shooting golf at the local par 3 and notice they had put up a new menu. To our surprise, the 3 things we ordered were absolutely exceptional. Will stop by again before our round to fuel up b4 hunting for those birdies =)

Heard a little about this place and all were fairly positive, so I wanted to try this place out. Located in the City of Arcadia, just off of Live Oak Ave., the golf course is hidden off the main street, with only a sign located at a small private/alley type of street, follow this alleyway all the way down and a parking lot with a small building located at the far end. The building itself is a no frills, older rectangle box with the main counter, a small but impressive golf shop and a small snack shop with a half dozen tables inside, patio tables and chairs also available outside. The driving range looks top notch with new artificial grass mats at every golfing station, area including the putting greens appears to be well taken care of. Played the course, 18 holes, all par 3's, was a little warm today, so we opted for the golf cart to take us out and about. The course itself is fairly well maintained and in good condition, the only thing that could use improvements were the artificial tee off mats at the start of each holes were quite beat up and old. This facility also has what is call foot-golf available, basically it is golf with a soccer ball, and instead of golf clubs, you kick it into these larger holes located near the putting green of each hole. Looks kind of fun and is definitely something I can see me bringing the Wife and Sons and their girlfriends for a day out for fun and exercise. The only draw back with the footgolf is that if your playing actual golf, and your following a group of foot-golfers, you will get caught up in a traffic jam, what you'll have to do is skip a hole or two and get in front of them and then come back and play the holes you skipped. All and all, a fairly nice golf course to play at, staffers were really nice and helpful, will definitely come back, 4 stars from me.

The course is not well kept it's a boring course to play golf. a terrible place for scpga jr tour event. They have to hit off a mat but the mat doesn't have a hole for the rubber tee. They don't allow spectators they are rude. The snack bar is closed and the "pro" shop is over priced and have limited items.

Love this course. Our church had its family golf tournament here, our first since the pandemic. We give a big shout out to Tim Gore, Tim Rao and their Chef. They were extremely helpful and made our family tournament a big success. Our participants gave high praise to their staff for their courtesy and helpfulness. We will be back!!

The driving range net near the first tee is clearly too short, and from what I experienced, this has apparently been an ongoing problem for years without meaningful changes being made. During my round I was almost hit by golf balls three separate times, including being struck by a range ball on the first tee. There were already dozens of balls scattered around the tee box, making it obvious this is not some rare or unexpected occurrence. A warning over the loudspeaker does not fix an unsafe setup when range balls are consistently clearing the netting. Beyond the safety concerns, the course conditions have gone downhill badly compared to when I played about a year ago. The greens were extremely rough and bumpy, putting felt more like putting on cement than on maintained greens. The layout also feels overly cramped and tightly packed, which only adds to the safety concerns throughout the course. To top it off, my golf cart died before I could even finish the round. Overall the experience felt poorly maintained, overcrowded, and unsafe, which is disappointing because the course used to be in much better shape.

As soon as I walked in to return a few clubs, the employee at the front desk rolled his eyes when he saw that I had multiple returns. That immediately made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. After my return, I started shopping for a new driver. I usually don't need much assistance because I know exactly what I'm looking for, but I needed help finding a specific club. A club specialist named Chris assisted me, but it felt like he wasn't interested in helping. I repeatedly explained that I wanted a brand-new club, yet he kept bringing me used clubs. I also clearly told him I needed a Regular Flex shaft, but he continued showing me Stiff Flex options instead. It felt like he was more interested in selling whatever was available than making sure I got the right club for my swing. Eventually, we found the correct driver head, but it still had the wrong shaft. I simply asked if the shaft could be swapped since it only requires a torque wrench. Instead of helping, Chris sent me back to the front desk and said they could take care of it. When I got to the front, the employee there told me that Chris was actually the one who needed to do it. So I ended up being sent back and forth between two employees, with neither one willing to help. It was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I remained polite and respectful throughout the entire visit, but the customer service I received was unacceptable. I drove about 40 minutes through traffic because I was ready to spend money on new Ping clubs, only to leave empty-handed because no one seemed interested in helping me. I took my clubs, walked out, and decided I'd rather shop at another Roger Dunn location where customer service is actually a priority. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a golf store, and I won't be returning to this location.

He said they were the Ferrari of club fitters. "Master Fitter" had me hit my 7 iron and then had me hit different 6 irons. He ran the numbers on the "optimizer" and said I could only get 10 yards more from my 7 iron and that the club was doing its job. Stopped the iron fitting there and went to driver. Today, Jeff had me warm up, casually asking about my game, usual ball flight etc. He explained to me the potential causes of my misses. One of the reasons being, the club was too light. He gave me a lot of really priceless swing tips. We worked on with different shafts and heads... he explained the process and connected it to my swing. He put stickers on the face to show where I was hitting the ball. He always reviewed distance trends and took in to account the flight of my misses. Thankfully I was able to execute his tips and the average carry of my 7 iron was amazing. On course, my TOTAL distance would be 120. After Jeff's club and swing magic, my CARRY was 130. It is specifically about the young brunette woman with a terrible attitude who works at the front desk and consistently displays a rude and unprofessional attitude. I do not know her name, and this is not a personal attack--it is simply an honest account for anyone visiting Eaton Canyon. I'll bet just by my brief description, young brunette woman with a shitty attitude, the existing staff knows exactly who I'm talking about. My brother and I have spent thousands of dollars here this year alone. We come nearly every weekend, spend generously at the bar, and always follow the rules. We've never once tried to sneak food, drinks, or free rounds. This past weekend we prepaid for our morning tee time through Golf Now. At check-in, we also requested a replay round for the afternoon and a bucket of balls to warm up. The gentleman checking us in charged me, I tapped my phone to pay, and we went on our way. No issues. After finishing our morning round, we had lunch at the bar. When we returned for our afternoon round, while waiting at the 1st tee, the young woman at the clubhouse shouted from a distance, "The cart return is over there." My brother replied, "We're not returning the cart--we're about to play our round." She yelled back, "You didn't pay. You have to pay or leave now." I calmly walked over to her to sort things out, but she was immediately argumentative and confrontational. She raised her voice at my brother and refused to listen to me as I tried to explain. I told her respectfully that if there was a miscommunication and our replay round had not been paid, I had no problem paying again. The gentleman working alongside her handled the situation professionally. I showed him the charge on my phone, and he even called the staff member who checked us in earlier. During this process, the young brunette came back out and told us, "I'm done with you. You guys need to get out of here. Dead ass. You guys need to get out of here or I'll call the cops." She then grabbed the gentleman by the arm, pushed him inside the clubhouse, and slammed the door in our faces. To be clear, I never cursed or raised my voice. My brother and I were calm and sober. This was completely uncalled for. After this, we respectfully drove the golf cart to my car. Loaded our bags and then returned the cart to the designated area. I want to reiterate that this review is not aimed at anyone else at Eaton Canyon. Ruby, Jason, Theodora, and every other staff member we've met have always been 100% professional and welcoming. We get along with many regulars + members and have even been invited to join the club. Up until this incident, our experience with staff, crew, and fellow guests has always been excellent. That is why this situation is so disappointing. It is unusual and concerning that Eaton Canyon management would allow someone with such a consistently unprofessional attitude to represent the front desk. On the day in question, she was even dressed unprofessionally in a Cowboys jersey--not in Eaton Canyon attire. I encourage management to review the security footage, speak to the bar staff, and evaluate the reputation my brother and I have built at this course versus the behavior of this one employee. I can understand miscommunication and frustration, but no guest should ever be treated the way we were--with rudeness, shouting, and threats. Eaton Canyon is a wonderful course with a great staff, but this one individual damages the experience for loyal customers.

Let's start with the positives…read more The starter was polite and the greens were in pretty good shape. Not a bad layout for a small space, but there is much to be improved here. The tee boxes and rough were less than acceptable. Beat up and let go is an understatement. I brought my own pushcart and on a hot day it would be too much to walk. I avoided the cart fee because of all the negative reviews about them prior. For $22.75 during the week for 9 holes, minus the cart fee, it's steep (for what you get). Based on the conditions I'd suggest $15 to walk and $25 including a cart on the weekdays. It is tucked away off a major street and it has potential, but considering it would be $45 for 18 holes this course is not worth the return. Golf is at an all-time high and Eaton Canyon can do better.
