Organ Stop Pizza is one of my absolute favorite places in the Valley, and I can't even fathom anyone would ever give it any less than 5 stars. I've been going and bringing visitors there for years. This place is majorly fun, and home to the largest Wurlitzer theater organ in the world. The Mighty Wurlitzer has more than 6,000 pipes, 82 ranks and 17 tuned percussion instruments, plus drums, xylophones, glockenspiels and all sorts of musical bells and whistles (there may literally be bells and whistles, I wouldn't be surprised.) The whole thing is powered by 4 giant turbine blowers, and the organist's console rises dramatically from the floor on a rotating platform like the pure magic that this place is. Throw in flashing lights, a disco ball, blowing bubbles and even dancing cat puppets, and you've got a mesmerizing performance that is pure joy to witness. You can request songs to be played (drop in your request card as soon as you arrive for a better chance to hear your requested songs). As a regular, I will say that it's often times the same songs that get played every time, but over the years I've heard everything from classical music, musicals, Disney songs, movie tracks, rock, etc. The organist will go from playing The Phantom of the Opera to The Little Mermaid to the U.S. Marines song, to some Led Zeppelin, Queen or Usher. It's amazing. I like the dining hall-style sitting. You can interact with the people at your table, or not, and there is plenty of seating for large parties. While it's not the reason why I go there, I personally think the food is good. They have pizza, a salad bar, ice cream and more. There's also an arcade room at the entrance. If you read this review in August 2026 - they currently have a special where you can get an appetizer (garlic bread), a large pizza and a pitcher of soda for $26. This is a unique place with a huge Wurlitzer organ for entertainment. Be warned, it's loud but definitely fun! The pizza here is pretty good with fresh ingredients and a good dough. It's tasty and satisfying. The only complaint would be a small salad bar, but the fixin's are fresh and with some variety (salad bar, you only get one trip, so load up what you want first pass) and you can get individual drinks or pitchers for the table. Seating is picnic table communal seating so it's perfect for big get togethers. They have in house made ice cream and and choice of cones and bowls with toppings. The counter service staff is helpful and friendly, and even pay attention to the little customers The main reason to come here is the organist entertainment. The set up can take to back to the days of organists in ball parks and theaters in days gone by. There's also a small arcade to win tickets and small prizes. Place had a line out the door waiting to get in at 3:30 pm on a Saturday when they open. To wait in the Arizona heat like that means they're doing something right. Mostly families with young kids but the place is just as fun as I remember it back in the 80's. Pizza was awesome with lots of toppings and they were not stingy at all. For an ice cream Float you can pick your soda and ice cream. The organ music comes complete with dancing cats, quacking duck, and even bubbles ... it doesn't get much better than that. This place is unique and famous for their Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ. It is absolutely beautiful and majestic. The performances are nightly and is essentially a one man orchestra. The organist also plays a lot of requests. I love the beautiful and powerful sound and it just takes you to another time. You order at the counter for your food and they give you a number to pick it up when it's ready. We ordered a medium specialty pizza- combination that had everything. The toppings were plentiful and it was pretty tasty. They also offer pasta, appetizers, a salad bar, beer/wine, and ice cream. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. 5 stars because this place is my childhood. I went here all the time growing up and it was such a great experience that I now bring my children here. Finding a family friendly restaurant in Arizona is hard but this one is perfect. There 2 stories and when the organ is going, it's loud and so fun, just a great show to watch and very unique! The food is just average, it not fantastic but it's your typical pizza parlor food. They also have a very small arcade and prize center for the kiddos as well. I'm ashamed to say my first time in here was 3 days ago. Crazy actually. All these years! I always wanted to go but never did. We will be going back again very soon. The pizza? Tastes like a boxed pizza you put in an oven at home. Or like cafeteria pizza. But everything else is pretty great. And the pizza isn't bad! Isn't just nothing special. Oh my gosh! We had such a great visit here-- and it brought back so many memories! 34 1/2 years ago, my husband and and I had our first date at the Organ Grinder in Portland, OR. The pipes for the organ here came from the one in Portland after it closed in 1996, so it was kind of cool to know that! The atmosphere is fun-- loud, as is to be expected, yet fun and cool lighting to go along with the organ. The organ rising and lowering is also really cool! Watching the player navigate all of the different parts of the organ is amazing! The pizza was awesome! Crunchy cornmeal crust, not burned, lots of toppings. We asked for no onion, received one WITH onion. They let us keep that one to munch on if we wanted while they made us a new one! THAT is great customer service! I felt like I was walking straight into a Chuck E. Cheese from the early 2000s. But MORE. It feels like a restaurant that belongs in the House on the Rock at Wisconsin. The crust was pretty thin and I hear that you make their dough in house and I thought the dough tasted great. The toppings on top tasted good didn't taste like canned stuff My beer was a bit warm though, and they serve them in those reusable plastic cups. They are all like scratched up and stuff. I usually have sensitive skin so I react on like these bacterial cups a lot which I did a bit on my lips. I plan to come here more times in the future really great time just simple standard bar food. I would say don't expect the best food you're here for the organ player not the food so they aren't focused on making top notch food you know and what I really like. The world's second largest pipe organ in a pizza and beer hall. The ambiance was nice, the music was fantastic, and the pizza wasn't bad. The organist takes requests, and looks as though he tries to play them all. I can't imagine the talent it takes to play hundreds of songs, from memory, while organizing dozens of request cards, and playing that monster of an organ with both hands and both feet. This had long been on my list to experience and I am so glad my husband and I finally got to! The history of Organ Stop Pizza is a fascinating story, particularly as it relates to the organ itself - one of few left in the world. Being a huge Charlie Chaplin fan, I was delighted to learn that it was instrumental in accompanying Chaplin's films in Chicago! But, I digress. We waited in line about 20 minutes before it opened to make sure we could get a decent spot (TIP: Sit on the upper level.). You order your food the minute the doors open (the gluten-free pizza is wonderful) and grab your seat. There's a big board that will display your order number when your order is ready. From there, head down to the little boxes to grab a request sheet, as well as a pencil, add your requests, and drop it in the box. If you want to hear the real power, request both Phantom of the Opera, as well as the theme song for Dracula - there's even a light show that will accompany those two :). This place is so fun and the food is amazing. I have never seen anything so interesting in my life. The person who played the Organ was simply amazing! The pizza was delicious, the ice cream was delicious. The entertainment was so fantastic. The restaurant is clean and nothing fancy, however with the Organist playing songs that people in the audience request from memory is nothing short of incredible! There is nobody rushing you! It's so fun! I have never experienced anything quite and amazing as this the musician is out of this world. I felt like I was not in Arizona I felt like maybe I was at a special showing for the elite. The prices are so reasonable! This is 5 plus star place to visit! I took my musician husband here for a date and since we both love music, it felt like such a cool way to incorporate it into our day. We were quickly greeted by the gift shop attendant as we walked in and she was SOOO nice. She gave us the 411 and gave me a refresher on how everything worked. We were a group of 5 so we ordered two large specialty pizzas, garlic bread with cheese, and a combo basket that included - mozzarella sticks, zucchinis, and fried mushrooms. We also got 4 drinks and one water. We sat down upstairs and we had a great view of the organ and show. Our food didn't take too long and we picked it up when ready. Everything was good. The pizzas were hot, loaded with toppings, and had a nice crisp. The garlic bread and basket were good as well. The workers we interacted with friendly and welcoming. Don't go expecting great food. The pizza is equivalent to a peter piper, the toppings on one of our pizzas were so cold and uncooked. If you really love the organ, then you might like this place. The seating is horrific, they don't seat you it's fend for yourself. The seats are long bench style making it very hard for elderly and handicap to get in and out. No one comes around to refill your drinks so you need to get out of the corner bench you're stuck in. Don't expect to have a conversation, it's too loud. If you have any seizure disorders, would not recommend bc lights flash. I'm giving it 1 star because the kids will eat trash pizza and they like the place because they can be loud and rambunctious without anyone noticing because the entire place is a zoo. Cool experience! Definitely stimulating when you first walk in! I recommend finding a seat and getting situated before ordering. You order at the counter (multiple counters if you want a drink or dessert) l, then you go pick up your order when your number shows up. I've been wanting to see this place for years and glad I came but probably wouldn't come back, certainly not as a single person. Too hard to coordinate seating, going back and forth for multiple items, and leaving my items unattended to go grab a drink. I do wish they would have someone w a long thru the dining area at least taking drink orders or allow people to pay for drinks at the first food counter then pick up before seating. The register is also very outdated but that was fine. The organ player was great and overall energy good. I did like the community table feel and asked my neighbor to watch my food while grabbed lunch but that still wasn't ideal because she had to grab her food while I was away. Not the best system for hygiene and convenience. I can see this establishment being great for families and kids. I was a bit nervous too about fall hazards for senior patrons who had canes and walking limitations with so many folks running around and in multiple lines. The salad bar options were generous and fresh. The garlic bread well prepared. Didn't love the flavor of the marinara sauce. A bit bland and sweet for my taste. Also no refills on sodas so everything adds up pretty quickly at the different stations. Also, this is just a preference but I don't like Pepsi lol The service however is like 2 . The girl who took our order had the personality of a wet mop. The organ has 1,074 keys, buttons, and switches linked to a series of xylophones, glockenspiels, gongs, and cymbals to create the sound of a full orchestra." That's no lie. You can request a favorite song. Or just listen. I have heard everything from Roll out the Barrel to the Little Mermaid to Frozen to Sweet Caroline to Mission Impossible and so on. Seriously it's fun. Truly. And it's in Mesa. The pizza is good and they have a salad bar, some pasta, appetizers. Beer, wine, sodas. Ice cream, they make great sundaes. Always consistently good. Gluten free and sugar free options. The best thing is you can order what you like. Cheese only ok. Combo ok. Mix this with that. Ok. No worries here. Veggies only. Fine. And I've never had a disappointing meal. Apps are usually fried real nice. Two can share or get a few and share with all. I've never left hungry or disappointed. A small arcade to keep the kids busy. The food is not the best but the entertainment is unmatched. We came on a Saturday evening. We ordered a large combo pizza, a large sampler, and a large salad. The salad is just one visit to the salad bar. Pizza:2.5/5 The pizza had a mushy and chewy texture. The pizza was not well seasoned and the cheese was bland. The crust was chewy and the toppings were generous. Salad:3/5 For value, you have to be good at stacking veggies on a plate. I can't rate taste as it will be different for each person. Large sampler:3/5 Came with fried cucumbers, mozzarella sticks, and fried mushrooms. The mozzarella sticks were good and had a nice cheese pull! The fries cucumbers were soggy and flavourless. The fried mushrooms were quite tasty and flavourful Entertainment: There was a person playing on the organ, that is the main selling point of this place. The lighting is very immersive and the songs were popular for all age groups from songs like let it go from frozen to the entertainer. The songs were definitely worth it if you've never been here before. Service:self serve You refill your own water and pick up the food yourself and get your own salad. My favorite was listening to the phantom of the Opera. The food is also good. You pay first and the order number is displayed on a monitor to pick up later. First the good. The piano is worth 1 visit here. Very fun and impressive. Sadly that's about all. The pizza was lacking flavor but the crust had a nice crunch. Also very pricey if you get any toppings. My husband got drinks for us and ordered a soft drink for me. They gave him a small. We waited so long for our food that my soda was gone before the food was ready. I asked for a refill and was told I would have to buy an entire new one.
