If pictures on gold was a good reputable company. I would have been returned my money that I paid, plus the money I spent to insure the box, I also paid for signature require at time of delivery!!! I returned the package with the earrings inside, the ones that the company sent me; that I never ordered. I need my money back!!! Now I need their supervisor written confirmation of what his findings are (By the way the supervisor is never available!!!) so I can go to the post office and report that the pictures on gold company is saying that they never received my package with the earrings inside. (The earrings that the company sent me after I repeatedly sent emails with pictures of the correct earrings that I wanted. And still some incompetent person still made the mistake of sending the wrong item. But there is an email stating that they received the package!!!! So it has to be internal robbery (the company should investigate their staff). And just return my money back to me! I am posting my review on your website and on my profile so that other people won't be scam out of their money like these staff at pictures on gold are trying to scam me out of $400 dollars. I also need to report this to my credit card company. Protection is the reason I used my credit card. At this point looks like fraud!!! Absolutely abysmal customer service. Beginning to wonder what kind of racket is being run here exactly. Ordered a personalized photo locket. Six weeks later one of the two photograph plates fell out while at work and was lost. Sent an email to support and never heard back. About 10 days later I called their support number to follow up. So I email her a photo of the locket missing its photo. "Would you be able to kindly send back the photo plate with the locket? I hope the photo plate just fell off and did not get lost!" Well, it IS lost. It was in the piece one moment and the next it was gone. I can see the tiny pieces of shoddy glue dabs where they affixed it to the frame but the photo is gone with the wind. Apparently this is an issue. Wondering now if they're even going to to TRY to make good on their warranty. At this point, if I had the photo plate myself I'd just try to have a third-party jeweler fix it back in for me. But I can't. And apparently getting a new photo plate is somehow a problem. Again, this is a locket purchased less than two months ago and was worn only for six weeks. I don't know what the story here is behind this company, but something is CLEARLY not on the up-and-up. Delivered Damaged Product Ordered a sterling silver police badge pendant engraved with a badge number and state seal. The pendant was delivered quickly (within a week) and the engravings were to specs, but the entire chain and pendant felt very flimsy. Didn't really feel like silver, felt more like tin or even a heavy plastic. In other words, costume material. It has a few 925 stamps so I'm willing to trust that. My biggest issue with this product is that when I opened the box for the first time, I noticed the paint on some of the engravings had rubbed off, and one of the letters was dinged and scuffed to the point of being unreadable. I can't give this product a one star because, like I said, it did arrive on time and is to specs, but I really do need to get this redone or replaced. I ordered a necklace and earrings 15 years ago and they're beautiful. But it took a lot to get them to do it the right way. I recently ordered a photo heart bracelet this time of my ginger who passed last year. The picture was awful, and they are redoing it but again they can't seem to get it right. They correct one thing and forget the other two. There was a large shadow under his chin which was so dark it looks like he had a beard & his color is all washed out, right whiskers were cropped. They lightened that and made his face bigger but now the shadow is darker again and his whiskers are cropped( I asked not to crop the right whiskers), and the color is washed out on the bracelet I received. The bracelet is very thin and the heart is so small compared to my necklace. I'm exhausted trying to get this edited properly- they don't allow you to do it yourself, and won't give a refund. I think they don't spend much time on the editing to make sure to get it right etc. I wish I had not ordered it at all now. It's not worth the stress. About $100 for a badly edited photo and a sterling silver bracelet with pink gold plate. The bracelet and heart are so thin. See my pics. I couldn't believe how cheaply made the end product was. It looked like a trinket you'd get out of a bubble gum machine. I weighed it and it was only 3 grams in weight, which would cost $3.00 tops. I contacted the company about this and they wanted pictures. I took pictures to show them what I received and also pictures of 1 of them next to the plastic frequent shopper key card I have on my key ring. It was as thin as that plastic card and weighed the same amount. It was also smaller than a quarter. I took a picture of a small sterling silver BMW medallion I have on my key ring. It only cost me $25 from the BMW dealership, weighs 17 grams, is about 10 times wider than what I received and overall dimension bigger than a quarter. Their product is absolute junk and I cannot give these as gifts. I wanted something very special to give them and this would be a complete embarrassment. Their policy is no returns for customized products, however, their website says 100% satisfaction guarantee. Well, I am NOT satisfied. They offered to reimburse me, minus a 15% melting fee. Seriously? It will literally take 5 minutes to melt these and the cost and time to do it would be negligible to them. And I have to pay more money to send them back. So I will be out around $35 between their 're-melting fee' and shipping costs for something that wouldn't have even cost them close to that to make 2, including their initial shipping cost and boxes. The return process is grueling. I bought two cross pendants for Christmas presents (a few days apart) and decided to wrap them both and let the person decide which one she wants and return the other. Turned out she didn't want either but did select a third one she would prefer, so I ordered it the day after Christmas. When I got home within a few days of that third order I called customer service and below are the hoops I jumped through: 1) I missed the 30 day deadline to return the first cross pendant by 2 days! No forgiveness or extension for Christmas like other companies, so I'm forced to keep that one. 2) I was on the call 45 minutes and finally received a return authorization number. I printed the information for packing and listed the return authorization on the outside and inside of the package. 3) I then get an email from customer service requesting that I take a picture of the package so they can watch for it! That is the strangest request I have heard of. I took the picture and sent it in and paid $6.05 to mail the pendant back. 4) This was the worst part. I got a text messaging saying the following: Hi Order # We received your refund request from SacredMedals. We have a few options for you: 1-ÇWe can make your product to your liking and offer you a $7 refund. 2-ÇWe can give you a gift card for $59.93 that will never expire. We offer unique items that are perfect for gifts throughout the year. --- I was outraged to be offered a $7.00 refund!! 5) I called customer service and was told I was given the options by text and all I have to do is respond to the text saying I want a full refund. How was I to know that a full refund is an option (according to the text) or to respond or that the text would be read by anyone? This is absolutely the craziest and most frustrating return process of any company I've ever dealt with and for these reasons I could not recommend them. Unfortunately this place is a scam. They take your money (and it's not cheap) and they make jewelry that is broken or has errors (my locket was backwards) and then they never answer calls, emails, or posts. They are also Alivia and Danny. Do not buy anything from them. If I could return the locket for a full refund like a normal business I would remove the negative reviews. read more
