I walked into this watch store fully intending to buy a watch for my girlfriend, money in hand, ready to make a serious purchase. I even carry an American Express Black Card, not that it should matter, but apparently here it does, because the staff decided from the moment I stepped inside that I was someone to be watched, judged, and "busted." The attitude was immediate and relentless: rude, rude, and more rude. Obnoxious, condescending, and openly suspicious, like I was inconveniencing them by existing in their store. If this is some kind of sales tactic, treating customers like garbage in the hopes they'll prove themselves by buying something, it's not just ineffective, it's embarrassing. Instead of feeling welcomed or excited to make a purchase, I felt like I was being interrogated. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything. After leaving, I checked other reviews and, shockingly, I'm far from alone. The same complaints come up again and again: rude staff, bad attitudes, and an overall hostile environment. Plenty of other places sell luxury watches without acting like customers are criminals. Terrible service, terrible product. I received a longines watch as an anniversary gift from my employer. I went to the store with the receipt to try and exchange it within 30 days of the receipt date, but they wouldn't do it. Only after several trips to the store was I able to exchange it. Well, the new watched stopped working after just 2 weeks. I contacted customer service who made me jump through through all kinds of hoops before they would even allow me to send the watch to them for diagnosis. They've had the watch for over a month now and they've given me an ETA of 12/2/25. My repeated emails to customer service have gone unanswered. read more

It took us asking for help for us to get help. I get it, we're not the high class typical looking type who frequent high end watch shops (chose my words wisely). We were the only ones there during the time of purchase (mid-day week day)..... So after 10 min or so of perusing, we hailed the 1 of 2 ppl working. We small talked as the associate resized the watch we wanted and eventually we paid. We have purchased many watches, but this experience was the longest wait. I just hate feeling stereotyped as "poor" because I choose to be thrifty on clothing and am pretty well tatooed. Anywho, the oculus was awesome!!! read more

I had a truly impeccable experience purchasing my first high end watch at this Longines boutique. Marie went above and beyond to make this a remarkable experience for me. I knew I was flying into NYC on a certain weekend and Marie did her homework ahead of my trip to make sure she had all the pieces on hand that I had inquired about so that I can make the best choice for myself. The staff at the store was very knowledgable and helped me make the best decision without making me feel pressured. They took their time to explain how to set the watch and what to do when it comes time to get it serviced. I ended up choosing one of their newer models and I could not be happier with my choice. Marie even followed up with me later to ensure I am completely happy with my purchase. She is very friendly, polite and made me a happy customer. I would highly recommend. read more

Terrible product, terrible staff. Just terrible. This store is the flagship Longines boutique in NYC yet the staff have zero knowledge of the product. I spent thousands of dollars on a timepiece from their Record line in part because Longines claims it has superior accuracy, cannot be magnetized and has a 40 hour reserve if fully wound. That's how Longines markets the line and that's exactly what the staff here told me when I purchased. But when the watch ran nearly 30 seconds fast per DAY immediately after I purchased it, two separate sales people (David, who sold me the watch, and John) told me the reason for the poor timekeeping was because the watch had gotten magnetized. The watch would also stop overnight (after 9 hours) even when fully wound. David didn't ask if I wore the watch to fully wind it - he just accused me of not wearing the watch. The manager Nabil couldn't even set my watch to the proper time (AM vs PM is important when your watch displays the date). The worst part of all of this - besides being treated like a second class citizen - was Nabil, David and John made absolutely zero attempt to solve the problem and restore my trust in the product. John actually agreed with me when I said a Fossil watch is better quality than Longines. And he was right. The store sent my brand new watch in for a repair - and it wasn't fixed. At this point I stopped working with the incompetent staff at this store and sent it into the service center directly for a second repair. Their customer service center in NJ is horrible too. Like the store, they have no interest in making things right, or even apologizing that things aren't right. Again, no attempt to restore trust in Longines. And they still didn't fix it. I sent it back for a third time. That's THREE repairs - within the FIRST YEAR of owning the watch. The watch spent more time in repair than it did on my wrist. They just kept sending me back the same junky watch without even checking if it kept accurate time. Finally, after a year of this I got Christian on the phone at the customer service center. He sent a replacement watch that so far has worked well. One year, two watches and thousands of dollars spent later. read more

I accidentally broke my husband's Longines watch badly and took it for fixing up at Longines Boutique located at ground level of Oculus. John helped me to take the time piece in --- it was in bad shape. So I was not even sure whether Longines can fix it. The watch was took in for assessment for a couple of weeks and John wrote me an email about price and timing of fixing it up. When I agree to the terms, Longines will start the fixing work. It took me about 3 month to receive the fixed piece in the end. It was longer than expected. But well... It was beyond my imagination that the watch now looks almost brand new. It is a entry level watch, but it holds a lot of good memories. I was amazed to see how Longines' craftsmanship managed to give it a second life. And when I pick it up. John's courtesy and service were impeccable. Nowadays there are brands treat you differently when you buy expensive items vs. buy cheaper. But John showed me the old school gentleman style: treating customers with full respect though they are just trying to fix an entry level piece. If you consider buying Longines watches, I will recommend John. read more

I received outstanding service in this store and especially Juliet went out of her way to help me! I handed in my watch for repair just before the pandemic hit which made it difficult to retrieve and it was gone without a trace for several months. Juliet continuously kept me up to date and managed to track down the watch at the service center despite covid closure and had it delivered to my home just in time for my departure from the US. She never gave up and made me feel reassured, and her service truly lives up to the customer service you buy into when investing in a timepiece from Longines.
