I had heard that Pie-Zano's was the place to go for pizza so decided to give it a try. It is in a Rolesville shopping center. I enjoyed seeing the old car out front too. There are a few tables outside but no inside seating at this time. I was greeted when I entered, provided a menu and then my order was taken. There was a bench to wait for the order. I didn't see until after I ordered that I could have bought something for a first responder and that would have gone on the wall for he or she to take. While waiting, I also noticed a food pantry, where someone can take needed items or drop them off for others that may be in need. I ordered the white pizza and the plain pizza which is cheese pizza. The pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes and smelled wonderful when I was given my order. The white pizza was my favorite but the cheese pizza was also tasty. Both were good when cold from the refrigerator too. I will try some other pizzas and items on future visits.

Part of how they support the community. And today, Sept 11, the entire staff is wearing "Never Forget 9/11" shirts.

Great Pizza to rival NYC. And I don't say that lightly. Even better - a great crew and a business that always gives back to the community. Purpose and Pizza. Awesome.

Stromboli with burnt bottom.. took away from it I don't mind a crunch, but this was off a bit

Nice place, with very good pizza.. growing up in New England, this reminds me of papa Gino's pizza.. It has some outdoor seating, but the dining room is closed off. The pizza is very good, with good sauce and a solid crust. Disappointed in the Stromboli as the bottom was burned and it took away from the taste. Wouldn't get this again Very solid pizza and would return for it.

Great pizza and always friendly service. Haven't explored the menu much outside of the pizza. Always happy to support this business

The chefs special pizza is 10/10! The thinly cut meatballs are an addition to pizza that I didn't know I needed!

It was ok, not the hype people on the reviews were talking about. I would go back for sure until I find the 5 star pizza shop.

ANOTHER great experience…read more Pizza is superb. Perfect crust, dressed just right with the ideal ratio of cheese & toppings. Wood-fired for a crispy crust. Tried a new one this time - the Bianca. This is a white pizza - ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan. Perfect mix, nicely seasoned. If white pizza is your thing, get this one! Celebrated their anniversary with cannoli! I'm a huge cannoli fan and these hit the mark! Crispy shell, creamy not-too-sweet marscapone filling swirled with mini chocolate chips. These are excellent - I hope they get added to the regular menu. Congrats to this family-owned business on your 5 year anniversary. Keep the pizzas coming!

Hot honey drizzled on spicy sausage with spots of creamy ricotta for contrast? Brilliant! Sure you can customize your pizza and they'll accomodate you, but the combinations they put together are so well balanced, you really should trust their "suggestions." And, don't miss out on their pasta. You don't need to run to a sit down restaurant for a pasta al forno experience, you can grab it here. Add your favorite pizza topping and you've got a great comfort food experience. If they're at a rodeo or an event, don't miss the chance to try them out. And if they're not too busy, great conversation too. :)

An OK spot for pizzeria fare in WF…read more It's a big place, at least 25 tables. Decor is Americana-kitsch. (Think Cracker Barrel). Also features a prominently displayed political flag - guaranteed to antagonize 50% of the patrons which to me doesn't make sense. And could very well explain why it wasn't very busy on this Friday night. Service is fantastic. The young lady helping us was professional and efficient. Food came quick, order was correct and she made sure our glasses were never empty. Food is ok. Didn't order pizza, as was in the mood for other Italian specialties. The garlic knots were interesting. Reminded me of crescent rolls made out of pizza dough. They're served dry, with a cup of garlic butter dipping sauce. Tasty enough, but not really how I envisioned them, slathered in butter with chunks of garlic, served in a basket. Baked ziti was ok but bland. Pasta slightly overcooked so it was mushy. Sauce is good though, a little sweet. Similar experience with the fettucine. Fettucine cooked right, sauce didn't have any zest to it. Will give another try, next time to taste the pizza. Hoping that this place succeeds.

Restaurant is super cute and the employees were all very friendly and welcoming. Order was ready for pickup at the right time, no wait. Pizzas were good, we do tend to like our white pizza with ricotta (my fault for not paying attention) and it was not as garlicky as we like but good overall. Onion rings were scrumptious and the mini cannolis were very good! Plenty of parking and great location. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is nice and dimly lit with plenty of seating, but you will have to find street parking around Glenwood. We were a party of 6 and they pulled together tables to accommodate us. Our server was a little slow but still friendly. For starters we got a Margherita pizza, calamari, the grilled caesar, and they brought us a complimentary bread basket with oil. Everything except the caesar was good. I guess we didn't expect the caesar to taste THAT charred and the lettuce to not be chopped. For main entrees, we ordered lasagna, lobster ravioli, penne alla vodka, and alfredo. The vodka pasta and lasagna were unflavored and disliked among the table. I would not recommend those dishes. The alfredo was okay. The best dish was the lobster ravioli.
