We just moved in the area and I first tried the chipotle steak n cheese. It was a snooze fest! Bland for no reason!!! Then my family wanted to try the pizza. We got pizza, wings, and mozzarella sticks. The sausage and bacon pizza was ok. I'd give it 6, it was the best thing I tried there. The Thai wings were oven baked, actually everything frozen then oven baked! The sauce made the wings much better. Oh and loaded fries were oven baked or air fried. It was not good. First time I ordered from doordash & the supreme pizza was amazing. The pizza was still hot, chewy handmade dough and great freshly cut veggies --nothing was from the can like some other places. Also ordered the baked ziti & would not recommend. The sauce tasted strange like they put thyme or something that doesn't belong. Second time, we ordered pickup and was quite disappointed with how soggy the pizza was. The wings are not recommended...it was extremely dry + cold; the sweet chili & mild flavors were not impressive either. Service was quick both times, but the staff aren't very enthusiastic about their jobs. It's a small pop in & out type of takeout pizza shop in a nice plaza off Louisburg Rd. My husband and I went over to a friend's house last night and the plan was to order pizza, salad, and wings for the football game. We ended up ordering from DoorDash I am pretty picky when it comes to pizza, especially being from NYC, being to Italy, and pizza being my favorite thing in the world (just ask anyone). I figured I would give this recommendation from my friend a chance, and I was happy I did! The only downfall is, they don't deliver to my actual house, as we live about 30 minutes from my friend. However, already thinking about the next time I can be up that way and order it! We ended up ordering a Chef's Salad, two large pizzas - Hawaiian & Pepperoni Pizza, and 24 wings. The wings were delicious - we opted for mild buffalo and extra spicy buffalo. Both were great. I do feel the wings could be a bit bigger, but they still seemed fresh and were delicious! I had a bite of the salad, also really good. On to the most important part - pizza! Both of these pizzas were amazing. I am usually more of a "New York" style pizza, and this is definitely not, but it was different, unique and delicious. The sauce to cheese ratio was great, and the dough cooked perfectly! I do feel the price point was a bit much - $80 bucks seems a bit steep for what we ordered (especially the wing price), but that being said, I feel that's normal these days! We ordered a 16 inch Pineapple Ham pizza today that cost $24.79 and it was disgusting!! I cannot believe this place is in business if this the type of pizzas going out the door. Toppings were VERY skimpy, the crust was floppy, as if "wet", that when we picked up a slice all the toppings fell off. Was talking to a NJ friend today and he was telling me he had a stromboli from one of my favorite local pizza shops up north. As soon as we hung up, I knew I HAD to have a stromboli for dinner. Road Runners is next door to the gym, so was a convenient choice for a pick up. The order was phoned in and ready as promised. The stromboli was excellent. The crust was crunchy outside and moist and fluffy in the inside. It was generously filled with my selected stuffings (ham, broccoli, roasted red peppers, onions) and covered with delicious shredded mozzarella. The whole thing was garnished with some olive oil and garlic. They included a pair of cups of sweet marinara sauce for dipping. This stromboli was every bit as good as the old spot in NJ. And definitely satisfied my. Raving. I'll have to head back over to Road Runners to sample the rest of the menu. Good stuff! read more

Placed delivery order. They weren't sure they delivered to our area, but lucky for us, they do! Ordered cheesesteaks, fries, cheese pizza. Cheesesteaks pretty good, onions rather raw. Fries traveled in a paper bag and basically steamed themselves on the drive over - limp and mushy on arrival. Gross. Cheese pizza pretty good! This is by far our youngest child's favorite restaurant in the world. Although we moved a few years ago and don't live as close, we still visit every month or so. The garlic butter on the crust is very tasty, as are the garlic knots. The spaghetti and meatballs are a huge favorite of our other child - always cooked perfectly, and we also enjoy the bread on the sandwiches. Pro tip: ask for the wings to be cooked extra crispy. Occasionally the pizza might be a bit over/under cooked depending on who is working, but it's usually consistently quite good. read more

Eggplant Parmesan Me Again!!! My wife and myself just moved to the area and after a long day of unpacking we simply had no energy to cook. We order 2 Stromboli's from this place and they both were AMAZING! They both were of good size and took 2 days to eat, which is a major plus for me. The tomato sauce was awesome, the perfect texture. We would have gave it a 5 star if there was more meat in it cheesesteak Stromboli however it was very minimal and I barely noticed it from the mushrooms sadly. All in all it was worth the money and some! Second time seeing I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I was flooded with the flavor. I'm used to making it without spaghetti noodles which they include underneath 3 coated eggplant slices. I wish they had one without the noodles and just eggplant! We have been coming to this place since day 1. A couple times lately, food has been almost burnt. This last time, my Stromboli was missing the meat just majority of cheese. They told me to bring it back to remake when l got there, they refused. We spent $30 on cheese Stromboli that we didn't order. I may be bold enough to say this is my favorite pizza in Raleigh. The sauce is so delicious, the crust is amazing and they are so generous with cheese. The wings are also incredible! The pictures looked good so I thought I would give them a try. I ordered a Greek salad and the eggplant parmigiana with pasta. The salad was very small for the price and not especially fresh but it was tasty. The eggplant however was not good at all, two very thin slices of eggplant (one piece was the end piece so it was all skin and very bitter) that was very greasy and clearly not cooked properly. The spaghetti had very little sauce, needed salt (I never add salt to anything), and they added a few chunks of bitter tomato to give it a touch of authenticity I guess. Still in the mood for eggplant the next day, I picked up a Michael's frozen dinner at the supermarket and not only was it much cheaper and better tasting but there was enough for two meals. When you're serving meals that are not even as good as something that you can pick up in the frozen section of the supermarket you need to take a hard look at your recipes and the employees that are preparing them. read more

As we waited we noticed the same person that was answering phones and taking money was the same person that was cutting already cooked chicken. No gloves or even washing his hands. Then to top it off the employee wiped his nose and went back to cutting the chicken without washing his hands. At that point we asked for a refund and the manager offered to remake our order.
