Owner calls, asks, then accuses me of cancelling my "ticket" and that he can no longer repair my phone. I drive all the way back to the repair shop and not only is my glass screen mutilated, my phone no longer works. My family had had a negative experience years back with this business but everything I'd read on line hadn't alerted me to any red flags and I really wanted to avoid having to buy a new laptop since the type I wanted seemed to be nonexistent. It turned out that John thought he had a screen that would fit (unfortunately it didn't) and the price was in line with what I expected. While repairing my screen, John said that one of the video connectors was also messed up so I needed a new motherboard. Fortunately, the quoted price didn't change and I was able to get this laptop back sooner than I feared I would. He was also kind enough to add more memory to the computer since the hard drive had almost none & was able to save the documents I'd had on my system before things got messed up.
